its fixed :) woo hoo
Coffee and...For Thursday, February 23, 2006 =^..^=
Landscape Designer ( lady I've known for years) left me with enough good ideas to finish off the backyard. Most of which I hadn't even considered in my myopic view of the yard. Like fencing the dogs into the lawn area rather than fencing them out of each individual planting bed. All I need now is weather and a strong back. Good response from the breeder as to the difficulty in having two females, that Immy was the alpha in her litter even being the smallest, food aggression can lead to other aggressive acts if not stopped, feeding in seperate rooms and keeping them apart for an hour after eating to get over the food thing. The trainer recommended by the Vet will contact me tomorrow when she returns so the Immy girl may get another dose of Obedience work. Wish I could think of some interesting things to talk about, answer threads and such, but the dogfight thing has cut too deep into my heart and isn't resolved yet. It will all work out the way it is destined and there ain't much I can do about it other than follow what the fates have in store.
best wishes to you all. Nite-nite
Well it's the same old story. MIA again today. The plan was for DH and one of his sister's to go spring DMIL from the hospital and take her about 2 miles to the Rehab facility. Last night about 12:00, got the call that the sister couldn't go, so who do you suppose was recruited? Yep,you got that right. defoecat. Well we left home this morning about 7:30, and waited from 9:00 am to 2:30 p.m. for the administration to type the discharge papers. Told DH, that if they would let me, I could whip them puppies out in 5 minutes. I guess that is job security. Anyway, got DMIL to Rehab place about 3:00 pm, got her settled in, personal items unpacked, and put away, all the paperwork out of the way, and we arrived home about 5:45 pm tonight. I am really whipped. Give me a good ditch to dig any day!!
Not gonna give each of you a comment, got to go file a tax return, maybe I will get back.
Okay, just a couple,
Meezer, Sammi is a hoot!!
Welcome back woofens,
Babs, you gotta be pullin my leg about the cricket spittin. Please tell me you are. And if you are not kidding, tell us please how this sport is conducted. Talk about interesting things, I think this might be the most unique sport I have heard of!!
Sarv, no thanks for the DH, If I could just have the barn, and give you 5 acres, he could build himself another barn, then he could stay put.
Mary, good explanation on lamb faucets. I knew that, but must have forgotten.
Bal, tell us more about the landscaping ideas. The squabbles will work themselves out. When one or the other just kicks the others a***, it will all be over. Just hope you don't have to witness it.
Maria, oooh that desert.
101 sorry about the sinus problem.
woodspirit, they would be crazy not to offer you that job at the library.
To all others, WAVING FRANTICALLY, and may be back later to gab some more, if not, after a quick trip to dentist to have him trim some wires from the old braces, will check in.
Hi all, gosh I think life has swollowed me whole. I just dont seem to be able to find any time any more. I made it to SC, loved it, hated to come back and now I am spending this week and some of next week catching up with the one day that I took off. Scared to death of what is going to happen when I want to take off the week of spring break. I now remember why my job almost had me taking medication to cope with the stress.
Hi to all, I hope all are well, happy and smiling.
Casey
Maria, your desserts are scrumptious!
Hi everyone,Well teh migraine is finally gone... Doing the Happy Dance.. It's been one of those days here. Got the lawn over seeded and covered and then found out were in for pouring rains...Oh well I'm hoping for gentle showers. Lost my farrier(horse shoer) somewhere and after several calls he still has'nt answered...May have to look for a new one even tho I really don't want to. LOL or go camp on his door step... My horse has to have special shoes and can't always rely on a new shoer...Yakkk The dog has grub breath brb.....There got her an altoid and she's happy for now...Oh and I broke one of the windows on my coldframes and had to pick all that mess up but had a replacement so was lucky there... Well I.m done grumping...
Waving to everyone and sarv glad ya got the new puter.
Maria, I love Ebleskivers!!! Have'nt had any in years, going to have to go back down to Solvang...
M5 have you ever given Sammi a brown paper bag to play in?? Mine used to love hiding in them and attacking everything..Every one else I missed your in my thoughts and have a great day....Lauri
Welcome back Casey and Janis -- glad to see you both again.
Robert, as everyone has been saying, I'm sure the dogs will work things out in time. I've never had to deal with this with dogs, but every time a new cat has been introduced they all had to re-establish their hierarchy (which meant that some fur did fly from time to time). I know it's no fun to watch your "kids" fight, but if Immy was both the smallest and the alpha dog in her litter, you've got yourself one strong willed pup!
Sarv, congrats on getting your pictures posted (nice ones too) and I'll join the chorus here as well --- I'm glad that you didn't wimp out and decide not to get the new computer!
Mary, glad to hear that the lambing is proceeding well. My one and only experience with sheep came on a grammar school "Field Trip to the Farm". I'll tell you though, it made quite the impression because the farmer said something along the lines of "See them sheep? Dumbest creatures on the face of the earth. If it's 100 degrees in the shade and one of them gets spooked, the rest will follow and they'll all run around in a circle until they drop dead."
D'cat, got my fingers and toes crossed for your MIL. Do you know anything about the rehab facility? My father was in a few at different times and they can be like night and day. My mother had to get him out of one of them because he was literally starving to death. I'm hoping she's in a good one where they'll actually push her into more activity and help her to regain some strength.
M5, I think Sammi's bound to win the gold in "shoe-boarding". Loved the picture. I've thought of breeding Bombay cats just to be able to have kittens around again. but it just wouldn't be practical. We don't really have the time or the space (not to mention the money!)
Babs, doesn't the hospital environment exacerbate your condition? I'd never heard of that before. Good thing my DH wasn't in the room when I checked out the links you provided. He has ankylosingspondilitus (? think I spelled it right, but not positive) and sometimes has flare-ups of iritis. He is also extremely short sighted so had a real bird's eye view of the needle they used to inject his eyes when he was younger. Now it's nearly impossible to get eyedrops into him when he needs them. Seeing those plugs inserted even gave me the willies.
Maria, I've done a lot of cooking and baking too, but never even heard of ebleskivers before. What are they like? Is it a bread type dough or more of a batter?
Hi 101, nice talking with you (even if your accent threw me for a minute there!) I hope you were able to understand me despite mine.
I'm sure I've left somebody out --- not on purpose. I'm just kind of tired and still have a few things to do before I can collapse into bed. Goodnight friends.
Just got home after a too long meeting and mediocre dinner at a place that has always had superb food in the past. Parmesan chicken, dry, and instead of angel hair pasta they served some premade mashed potato thing that was tasteless. Dessert was cheese cake and very nice. Too tired to read/respond much will catch up in the morning.
Nite Gracie.
Sheila
Ummm, supper's done and over with, the dishes are in the dishwasher and there's a nice fire laid in the Lopi stove and DH is printing out some Department of the Navy COMVAQWINGPAC Instruction 1650.4D. Hmmm, has something to do with an award he's put his men in for....don't ask me what. I know it has to do with EA-6B Prowler aircraft, but that's the extent of my knowledge.
I've had a full day trying to slay the laundry monster. I won't say he's all the way dead, but I certainly took my licks at him. He's bleeding heavily and about to expire, but not quite done in. LOL.
D-cat: I'm sorry you are having such a time with DMIL. That poor lady has been though so much. You and your DH have been through enough to last anyone a life time and you definitely have my sympathies. It's hard to watch a loved one suffer and it's harder still to live with the knowledge you have little power to make things any better.
You asked about the cricket spitting contest. Well, dear, in Thailand, the locals do it quite often and have championships yearly. I only competed against other school children and a few adults, but never with the idea of getting anywhere with it. I just enjoyed doing whatever the foreign nationals did in whatever country we were in at the time. In Thailand, the locals catch crickets by the thousands. They set sheets across the rice paddies and the crickets fly/hop into the sheets. The locals would gather up the crickets and fry them in peanut oil and spices to make them more tasty. We ate them like people here eat popcorn, but there would be some left over for the competitions. I happened to play with the embassy gardeners children as well as the staff car drivers children and learned from them. My parents were very open minded and allowed me to spend the nights with my friends in their homes and eat what they ate, so I learned early on there were traditions different than what my parents practiced, and I incorporated many into my own life.
Cricket spitting is done with the fried crickets and one stands behind a line and spits it as far as they can. The distance the cricket is spat is measured and the one who spits the farthest is the winner. My personal best was 17 feet, but there were adults who spit much further than I. I received a rice temple bird in a bamboo cage for my prize and the honour of being the white (guailo) child who spit a cricket as well as any Thai child.
I also ate rice bugs. When I was taken to school one time in the staff car, the driver had a paper bag sitting on the dash board that kept jumping every once-in-a-while. I asked the driver what was in the bag and he told me, "Thai dericracy, you wanna tly missy?" "Sure", says I, "My Mum says to try everything once." So, I watched what the driver did. He reached into the bag, pulled out this long, greenish-brown bug that looked much like a praying mantis, he bit it's head off, sucked out the insides and tossed the carcass out the window. So, I did too. It was much sweeter than I expected, though I have to admit, there was a stinginess like getting a piece of pepper in the back of your throat. Not bad, but an acquired taste to be sure. End of story.
McCool: Yes, you are right. Being in a hospital does exacerbate my condition. I hurt like the dickens every night when I get off work, but I refuse to let this beat me. My eyes are always dryer than usual when I'm at work because they de-humidify the air and I carry a bottle of artificial tears with me and use them frequently. Hopefully, with these new punctum plugs, it will improve somewhat.
Well, DH is finished printing out his instruction. I'm grateful he has his laptop and we have a wireless printer. It makes things much easier when we both need to use a computer at the same time. It's time to say, "Nani nani, luvvies." I hope everyone has a very restful night and gets good sleep. I'm off to the vet in the morning with the boys. It's time for their yearly checkup's and immunizations. Poor babies.
Hugs to all, with care always, ~Babs~
Hi all
Have been under the weather today. Haven't decided if it's sinus or maybe a cold thing going on but have felt achy with a bit of a headache. It was messy here this morning, and we tracked in a bunch of leaves from the deck, so I had to clean that up whether I wanted to or not. Took a little nap this afternoon, then got up and made a pot of baked potato soup and topped it with cheese, sour cream, scallions and crumbled bacon.
Darius, everytime I turn around y'all are buying and planting another plant. You two make me plumb tired. :) Then to top it off ... you're still working on the pump house, etc.
Defoe, so glad you got your MIL moved, but sorry you were volunteered for the job. Don't you just *hate* that? You're so kind to do that, though, and I know your DH appreciates it.
McCool, I was soooo afraid you were having a bit of trouble understanding my southern draul! Don't think these cell phones make it *any* better either. LOL It was very nice talking to you. We'll have to do it again when you have more time. :)
Robert, hope you get your doggie problems worked out. Or maybe I should say ... I hope they get it worked out? Know that must be difficult.
Hi Carot ... sooo good to see you. Just asked about you a couple of days ago. Glad you were able to get away. Now you've *just* got to tell us all about it. LOL
Susan, anymore updates on your DD? Sure hope she's doing better.
Well, it's late and I'm ready to put this bod in the bed, so I'll just wave to all the rest of y'all. Hope everyone has a peaceful night.
Hugs all way round.
... Elaine
Just dropping in to say hi. Kittens went to the vet to be fixed today. Pickles, the boy, is home, the girls have to stay the night. Ranger is having a down day, poor baby.
I had a foster monkey once, I wouldn't recommend them either. He made the sugars look like store bought cake.
Well, I have been on this dang computer since about 8:00pm. I finally got all the forums checked, and everything read here. So hopefully tomorrow will be easier. I have a pic I will post tomorrow, of Miss B, helping me at the computer tonight.
Well off to bed, have a good one eveyone.
Well, I have tried very hard to start the daily for tomorrow, but it won't do it.
So sorry....first one up, please start it if you can. I really wish Dave would fix all these quirks, it is getting tiresome.
Couldn't send a dmail either. grrrrr
Susan
=^..^=
OK, if we can't start a new one we will just keep on keepin' on on this one.
Maybe Dave will get things fixed eventually. I have been griping on a lot of threads about it, hope I don't get 'banned'. LOL Better not laugh.....
Susan
=^..^=
Susan, I just tried to start a new one and it's now posting. Sorry, maybe Dave will be along to fiz it again.
Molly
:^((((
I just now tried to start a new thread also. No dice.
Whoa! I thought it was me....was checking other threads and couldn't get to the new posts with the skip, and was thinking to myself that thilngs were sounding familiar, finally realized what was happening. Not too swift, eh? I hope they do get it fixed asap, people with dial up must be getting even more aggravated than me. Inappropriate words will get Dave's attention, that might have to be our next step!
I was really dragging by the time I got home last night. I don't like driving at night and was glad it was not rainy or snowy making the glare a problem. The interchange nearest downtown is being redone and there are detours, closed ramps, multiple directional signs and it is just an awful mess.
I'm going to see Menopause the Musical with DIL at the end of March. I hope that they have made some progress by then and it won't be such a tangle. Before they moved to their new house, I could leave my car there, and DS would play chauffer for us and we didn't have to hunt and pay for parking.
Aw, Bal, the girls will work it out. You know, it's like two women in the kitchen.....somebody's got to be boss! Separate feeding sounds like a good start, it will lessen the contest for top dog, and give them each a break. They are both too smart for their own good! One of the charms of the Sheltie breed and also one that can make it difficult for the owner. Be patient, you're a good papa, and it will work out.
Molly and Darius, you make me exhausted just reading about all you've been doing. The pumphouse is quite elegant, and i can't wait to see how all those plantings look by midsummer. The rain is an inconvenience for your other chores, but just think how those new seedlings are soaking it up. DH used that cement board on our new garage too, and it's hard to tell that it's not wood siding. The last house that went up in the subdivision used it. It's supposed to be extremely durable.
Sammi had two more baby shots yesterday, now he won't get rabies (like he's ever going outside) or distemper, and has a little tag to prove it. Vet Katrina said he can go in for his neuter in a couple of weeks or did I already tell you that? She pronounced him "sturdy". Mini could attest to that, as one of his favorite passtimes is still taking a long run at her and bowling her over like a freight train.
Babs, I'll have to ask my sis if her kids got into Cricket spitting when they did their tour in Thailand. They would have been the right age. They were pretty adventurous, and used to adapting to foreign customs although they always lived in a cluster of other State Dept. and military personnel. She had a live in maid there, and had plenty of time for the entertaining and bridge playing that she enjoys. What with the overseas bonuses etc. they made out pretty good on their foreign tours.
Dcat, didn't you just know you'd end up doing the escort service with your DH? I hope the rehab place works out well, and she can go from there to home, and resume her daily routines without further problems. Poor dear, she has really been through the mill, along with those of you who were attending her daily. Must be nice to go through life just letting others pick up the pieces like the SIL...I'm getting much better at saying "NO" but I was a reliable piece picker upper for many years.
Glad to see our absentees back....Woofens and Carat. I thought someone would have to go out east and drag you back! The spring picture you posted looks intriguing, very mysterious and inviting. I think the year is going to be a long slow torturous wait for the big move. But we'll have such fun hearing about it when you get to planting and such.
I have to get presentable the cable co. is coming "sometime" between 8 and noon, and if I don't get dressed, it will be 8 for sure. Since I will be ready it will probably be noon.
Ugh, I have to go through my charge card records for '05 and mark all the stuff I bought out of state because Wisconsin is going to charge us state tax on it. You can bet I'll be paying through my debit card from here on out.
Anyone up for a pool on how many lambs Mary brought in last night??
Waving byebye to everyone as I head for the shower.....
Sheila
Still not fixed huh??? Oh well, I'll add it to my list of *itches!! DH didn't load up the woodstove last night before bed and we awoke to a freezing cold house and DGS was coming over. DH tossed in a load of paper which sat and smoldered. I wasn't in a good mood to start, so I just cranked on the furnace - to heck with him. (we have taxes done tonight - hence the rotten mood)
When DIL dropped of DGS, she gave me the most beautiful pot from pottery barn. I will never take $$ when I watch him, so this is a little bonus for me - and she knows how I love gardening stuff!! That did make me smile!!
Bal, sure hope the alpha thing works out. Kinda like one kid wanting to be boss all the time - hope they can duke it out with little bloodshed! Isn't it funny how someone else can add a whole new perspective to your yard.
Babs- YUCK -crickets in your mouth.... I'll pass on that one!
Vi - I just heard that the next winter olympics are to be held in Vancouver, Canada. Is that by you?? Maybe we all could come and bunk down with you!! I'd love to see it once in my life.
Well, off to check on any new seedlings!!
I'm gonna say hi and keep this short for the dial up folks!
defoecat, You've done so much for DMiL, I know the exhaustion that comes from cutting red tape! Prayers for YOU today, that you get some needed R&R
darius~the pumphouse is a work of art.
m5~I'm dying to see "Menopause the musical"! I too vote gold for Sammi in shoeboarding!
Io1 and whoever else is under the weather~I think I've got a sinus infection too left over from my 2-week cold, or it's the crazy weather blowing my sinuses up! Half of my face is just aching unbearably!
I'll check back and hope DG is working better!
I saw the cast iron cookware in this thread and it reminded me: last year, when I went to the GA RU, I went through Commerce, GA. They have a huge outlet mall and there was a store there that sold all cast iron cookware. I am looking for some new pots and pans now, so I am going down there this year and saving time to go through that store.
CAn't post a new thread either. Got the girls on the bus, no preschool for the little one today and the oldest is in bed sleeping off his first butt kicking. Got himself a nice shiner to show for it. Not sure if I should yell or be proud. He let the kid pretty much beat the crap out of him and never threw a punch in return. Part of me says "yea, you're the bigger man for not fighting back and sinking to his level", but the other part says, "ya wimp! how could ya stand there and let him beat you up?" LOL
The joys of having a teenager!
Janis
Going back to ready my first post this morning, I see my fingers/typing skills were not yet awake. Pretty embarassing.
Meeze, We skuttled around almost in the dark last night getting the last of the trees planted so we could hope for more rain for them. I think it might have. Now we just have bulbs to get in with a good chance of more rain on the weekend. We might get the siding finished today and I'll get my daylilies all planted around the P'house before the weekend rains.
We got the camellias and azalea planted in the front of the p'house last night.
Molly
:^)))
M5- I saw Menapause in Chicago - It was wonderful - all females should see it!!
DGS is here, we've played 3 games of Kings in the Corner and a new card came called Speed. We both love cards!! Now he' s watching some cartoons and I'm going to do dishes and throw some clothes on. Sun is out and it looks pretty, but the temps are still in the low 20's. May wander out to the greenhouse for a bit.
I ended up cranking on the furnace and just now the woodstove is taking off...not a good way to start off the morning...
Wedding tomorrow night at a swanky place (DH is grumbling about going already) - only downer is the weddng is at 3:30 and the reception not until 6 - what are we to do in the meantime??? Oh well, it will all work out.. Only fly in the ointment is the reception is way downtown and I hate driving down there as I always get lost. And of course I am the designated driver....
Good morning all. Yeah the computer blips are frustrating. I am doing sons and sons girl friends taxes today, so hope I don't get kicked off before I finish them. Have to run to the dentist to have some wires trimmed on the braces. They are cutting into my mouth. Ouch. Thought I could cover them with gum yesterday, I'll not try that again, took several brushings to get the goo off them.
Meezer, yeah, Sammi is protected from Rabies!! Just like you might bite him or something!! On the lamb pool, my bet is 5. I want to see Menopause the musical also. Bet it is hiliarous.
Sarv, Sorry for the cold house this morning, want the 2x4? Always nice to get a cool gift. Hope you enjoy the pot.
dms, sorry that you are in the not feeling well category. I'm sending warm sunny thoughts to you.
Woodspirit, I have been to a store that sells the cast iron cookware. I think it is outside Gatlinburg. Very neat.
Woofens, Well, maybe the shiner is first lesson in "fighting 101" Just got the basics.
Molly, all your planting sounds so good. I took a morning walk, and I have scads of bulbs that are breaking through. And weather people are predicting cold temps for this week end and the first of next week. All, I can do is push some more mulch around them.
Well, just wanted to let you all know that the Rehab facility that DMIL went to is one of the best in the state. So I think that it will be befecial.
Well off to do the taxes, will check back in later.
Just popping in seems everybody has the same problem and Terry posted she is waiting to hear from Dave about how to fix it.
Hello all I will pop back have lots to do this morning before son gets home ~~~ Hope everything gets back to normal on the site...
Anne
Some seem to have problems, I don't think I have any to get here?
GM! GOBs & 'Ettes!
I'm up and about but will be gone shortly. I have to take the poochie's in for their yearly at the vet's office. Poor babies, I always feel sorry for them. I have the vet purge their anal glands while she's mucking about with them, so I feel even more sorry for the boys. DH says it gives new meaning to "getting a squeeze from the ones you love." LOL
I have to run to work for a few minutes after the boys are done. I've got to pick up a packet of paperwork. I'm teaching a class for first time takers of ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) next month and I need the materials to review. I used to teach the class every 6 months for the first time takers, but I've slacked off the past two years, so I'm trying to get back at it. Mum has been so ill these past two years, but she's actually doing better these days and I'm not over there every day now. I've got "Comfort Keepers" doing her daily chores (laundry, make her bed, etc.) and fixing her lunch each day and that gives me a little more freedom to get back to a more regular schedule.
I'm also going to pick up a load of extruded logs at CENEX on the way home. We burn those in our Lopi stove. They are made of pressed and extruded sawdust and water only, no wax or other products. I don't feel as badly about burning those as I do real wood. I'm at least using a recycled product and we get more BTU factor per log than with natural wood and no creosote buildup.
I hope everyone has a very good day today. I just wish it was warmer and I could get to setting out some plants. I'm getting the itch to scratch in the dirt and I'm frustrated not being able to do so yet. I do have some basil seeds started and they have their third leaves already, so I'll be planting them in containers before too much longer. Some I'll set out bot others I'll keep in the house under the grow light so I have basil year round. Most of my other herbs have all made it through the winter, but basil is more fragile.
Hugs to all, with care, ~Babs~
Good morning. Here's the ewe and lamb count. 3 ewes and 4 lambs. One of the ewes also had delivered a small mummified lamb which I didn't bring in. It's strange but last night was a girl night, the night before it was almost all males. My hours got changed a bit, 11 pm and 2 am now since the weather is a little warmer. The owner gets an extra hour of sleep that way, and after a week of about 4 1/2 hrs per night he will think 5 1/2 is a luxury! I just reset the clock, layed down with an old comforter and a cat and got an extra hour for myself as well after the cat settled down and quit pouncing on my feet.
Dcat, helping with moving your MIL was something nice you did for her and your husband. Never mind the other party. Most families have one who never does their share, some have several. Good to hear that she is in a very good facility and I hope her rehab goes well. Any estimate of how long she will be there?
Babs, I too will pass on the cricket spitting and rice bugs. I guess my sheltered childhood made me unadventurous, but right now that sounds just fine.
Somebody mentioned the next winter Olympics being held in Vancouver, Canada, that's on the west coast not too far north of Babs.
Janis, my hubby told our boys not to start any fight but if somebody else started it to be sure to finish it. One of mine got a broken hand (fighting with his brother) and they did have other assorted owies, but once the neighborhood and school kids knew they wouldn't be punching bags those kids didn't often start anything. And one of them got kicked off the school bus for a few days for fighting with a neighbor kid. I told him if you want to fight with the neighbors do it after school and not on the bus. And I remember when a neighbor kid challenged one of ours and invited all the other kids to watch. My hubby came home from work about then and he had all the spectators stand in one area so it wouldn't turn into a free for all, then told the kids to go at it. They did for a minute or so and the challenger realized he was outclassed and wanted to quit. My hubby asked the spectators if they had seen enough, no they hadn't, so he told the kid he had to fight some more because his friends weren't satisfied. So they fought some more until the challenger didn't care what his friends thought and went home hanging his head in shame. His friends still weren't happy with the show.
Sarv, if you take the "scenic route" between the wedding and the reception you might need the extra time.
M5, Sammi looks like he is proud of himself for squishing the other cat into half the basket and hogging the rest for himself.
Time to get moving. Hello to everybody I missed.
Didn't get to read all, but thought I better post and get back to work. Am I wrong or is this on yesterday's thread?! Later, Suzi :)
I thougt I was in a twilight zone. No Coffee thread for Friday! Hope these problems get fixed soon.
Made an uplanned trip to Lowe's last night. DH had to go with his friend to look at a car. I tagged along and afterwards we went To Lowe's. I got a Christmas cactus and a very small ficus for 25 cents each. They had tons of the cactus, but i'm not sure where this one will live yet. Couldn't pass up that deal.
Looks like stepdaughter will be spending a little time behind bars. I haven't said anything here before about the situation because I find the whole thing very maddening and embarassing. DH has gone through hoops, taking time off from work and spending lots of $$ trying to help her out of this. I think she has finally gotten to the point where daddy can't help her any more. And that's a good thing. She got involved a year or so ago with someone who was involved with gang members. They got her to cash fake checks at various banks. Now she has charges all over in NJ and PA. She's not the brightest bulb and when they told her what she was doing was on the up and up, she beleived them.
I'm taking DH out for dinner tonight. He's had a rough week between daughter and stuff at work. Tomorrow we're going to Atlantic City to a car show / auction. Should be a fun day out. Supposed to be about 50 tomorrow and then 32 on Sunday. Here we go again with the temp swings.
Defoe hope MIL is comfortable in the rehab. How long will she be there?
Sarv - Have a good time with DGS.
Mary - I would love to spend a little time with all those little babies being born.
Molly - You plant more in a day than I do in a season. I'm so awed by all you have done. You go girls, and Jeremy!
Waving Hi to everyone I didn't mention. See ya later!
Yea, a new thread FINALLY allowed!
