Hey Bernie! Hubby gets off work at 11:30 unless he leaves a little early so he gets home between midnight and 12:30 am. By the time he changes, gets a drink and sits for a few, it's 1:00 am. I can leave here then, get to the other house by 2 am and work through the night with no kids to mess behind me or get under foot. :) Unfortunately we did the kitchen with white laminate. BLECK now! You can give me ideas on how to strip or paint the ones at my new house though. LOL

LOL My grandmother had a HUGE jar of pennies just for playing poker with. We would have a great time and at the end of the night we all put the pennies back in the jar.

We used to play penny anny with my wife's relitives years ago, but they have mostly passed on, so no more cards.
Chele, I didn't realize you were remodeling your old house. Will you be listing it soon? Real estate has been going good here with the mild winter. It only got below 20º 2 nights in Jan.
I am a terrible one to ask on refinishing. I just tear the stuff off and make new.

ROTFLOL Really easy to pace yourself here, huh?

We had to replace the kitchen floor in the other house. It was ceramic tile and a few were cracked and no longer available. The other island was massive with base cabinets on both sides. Now it is only a sink base and dishwasher on one side and an eat in bar on the other. The top is the same size though.

The cabinets here are not really by style but are solid, single piece wood so I will work with them. The design on them is sort of odd though.

I am worried about many of my perennials! It has been so warm this week, many are breaking dormancy. How is your gardens?

Just dropping in to say "Hi!". It's pouring rain and we hit a record 28 days of rain, almost a foot in 1 month. It's depressing. Everything is growing even though it's a bit early.

My tulips are up never seen such a thing in January in New England

Bernie the weather has been wet and mild all winter-i can hardly wait for spring!

**im going to hit the hay-been along day and have to have the son up for school at 6am! the birds are still having coffee at that hr!

I have my granddaughter here to night and im going to snuggle her all nite!

This weather is nuts! I have bulbs and perennials and hems up and shrubs sprouting! Now the weather man says 'from here on out through February, we are going to see more winter like temps." ACK!!! I am so glad I didn't jump the gun and start those seeds!
