Emma, good to have you back! Poor flattened things though. now... I.hederacea leaf pics. got to go take them.

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

So glad to hear you and your family are safe. Whew! That big old dog is a sweetie. Sometimes I think the big dogs really have a sweeter temperament than the small ones.

Emma, it's good to hear you are all OK. I'm so sorry about your plants. Hope you can save some of them. Here are a few of my Tie Dye's from this AM.

just found a few pictures from last year. Ipomoea purpurea. (got a ton of seeds from these)

PS: I remember when I thought that heart shaped leaves and small flowers were the limit on morning glories :)

neat, MGMan, was yelta/grandpa ott's one of it's parents?
I think my yeltas aren't yeltas anymore. They're smaller and more blue this year than the original.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions of what to call my unusual JMG
http://davesgarden.com/forums/fp.php?pid=1775458
And, even got some choices of 'Common Names' too. Thanks!

Gail,
Your Henka type is a beauty -
I hope you have it in a pot so you can sleep with it until you get seeds....lol
http://davesgarden.com/forums/fp.php?pid=1776747
isn't it amazing all that these types produce.
It is just never-ending.
This one looks like a lighter color
http://davesgarden.com/forums/fp.php?pid=1776754
Love it!
And, your twins are little charmers.
How neat.

Ronnie,
Whoa!
http://davesgarden.com/forums/fp.php?pid=1776926
what a beauty you cane up with this one.
Maybe a type of 'Star of India'?

tazzie,
Nice Pink Feathered MG.
You are sure coming up with some grand MG's.

Janis,
Now, THAT is a 'Chocolate Silk'. Amazing
http://davesgarden.com/forums/fp.php?pid=1779462
And, WONDERFUL 'Rose Silk'

Oh Ron,
http://davesgarden.com/forums/fp.php?pid=1780396
Good Grief, what a beautiful photo and MG.
I'd be your gardener for a week for seeds or a start of that one *-*

Zem,
VERY nice photos

MG Man,
ALLRIGHT!
Your new baby at last.
Very pretty!

Susan,
Many of my blooms are getting smaller as well.
Your different colored 'Akathoukinounni' is nice!
http://davesgarden.com/forums/fp.php?pid=1776738
But this one - oh my, what a wonderful creation you have there
http://davesgarden.com/forums/fp.php?pid=1779200
Oh wow - the one at the top left is a VERY unusual pattern.
I hope you tagged that one.
http://davesgarden.com/forums/fp.php?pid=1780727

I just had to crop it out, but it made it blurry.
See if you can do a better photo from your end.
I LOVE THIS BLOOM

zemerson the additional photos reaffirms the ID of Ipomoea hederacea...even the sub-tending bracts are those of Ipomoea hederacea...

Emma - That Fila is absolutely oustanding...I used to have an orange tiger striped one...and there is nothing "As faithful as a Fila"...

Westmoreland, TN(Zone 7a)

Ron,
The seed pod's are pointing up to the sky, the bloom on this morning glory is about 5 to 6 in and it looks like it has tiny white flecks on the blooms.
Some of them are striped pink and white like the 'Benigasuri'
http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/103547/index.html
I don't remember planting it but I did get a few JMG mixes and I have gotten the tags mixed up on some of them when I potted them.
I also potted Akatsuki no Mai,
http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/72359/index.html
But none of the pictures posted on this one has stripes on them, and this one gets a few with stripes now and then.
I cant get a picture to post something is wrong with this computer so it wont take the program to my camera.
I am having it worked on this week so I will post a picture when I get this thing fixed.
Thanks for your help with this I will talk to you all as soon as I get this thing back.
:}

Emma,
I am glad you are all ok and I hope you didn't have too many plants hurt by the winds.
:}

the MG's are lovely everyone!

Robbie,
Thank you.
We were seriously lucky. The local weather was predicting we would get 70mph winds until the 'Monster Rita' veered more to the east, and of course died down sooner than they anticipated.

Ron,
Thank you,
he is such a 'baby' too.
Great dog.

Emma
