Here is a pic of a Chachamaru - I dont' think it's open all the way. It's actually the second flower. Didn't see the first one a few days ago, because I didn't expect them to flower already. They're only about two feet tall!

I'm a terrible photographer. I think I took all these too late in the morning and there was too much sun. Here's a pic of my Fistula Carnea mg.

Janis (Woofens) - my hat is off to you! WOW is all I can say!!!!!! Most of my morning glories are done for the season. Between my wife and me we are busy gathering seeds from many now. That means the plants are using up most if not all the "flower power" trying to do that, lol. Again you have some real beauties there, very nice photos too...........what is the camera you are using if you don't mind me asking?
Dennis

PS; In this photo can anyone guess what morning glory these flowers are from?

You have lovely collection and all the photos are excellent.

Dennis, thank you so very much!! I actually bought some of my seeds from you this spring, the pink shibouri's for certain :) This was my first year growing anything from seed, or keeping anything alive LOL I hope to have a better system next year for keeping track of what is what. I'm tearing my hair out this year tracing vines so I know what seeds are from which vine LOL I'm gonna have alot of "mixed purpureas" at the end of the season.

I am worried about my seeds, tho. DH says first frost is only a couple weeks away. Today I probably got 10 seed pods that were rip[e, and that is the most in one day so far. The unknown blue nil here http://davesgarden.com/forums/fp.php?pid=1767021 put off its first bloom today. My Hama No Yuki put out its first bloom today, and I still have at least 2 vines with no blooms yet. My lavender and pink picotees have only been blooming a week or so. I am really hoping the frost holds off.

My cam is a Fuji FinePix A340 It has amazed me with the quality of the photo's I"m getting from it.

Kaleem, thank you so very much. I reallly appreciate it

Janis

Edited cause I'm a dingbat LOL

As per Ron, these are Ipomoea cordatotriloba.

This one did not start blooming until last week. It was worth the wait! Thanks Emma

I took these photos yesterday when it was overcast. The blooms had sort of a magical glow under the clouds.

Sylvia,
WOW!
Wonder if this could be from some of the 'Very Pale Pink' that I got.
http://davesgarden.com/forums/fp.php?pid=1766973
If I remember I sent you some from three different pods.
Got these from a 'Pink Tie-Dye' From Japan that came out a beautiful Pale Pink, with slightly darker Pink Halo.
Also send you a couple of 'Very Pale Lavenders' that I also got from another of my vines -
which is NOT 'Lavender Mist'.
Are the leaves Variegated?
Also this one looks Flaked? Or is it Solid?
You just GOTTA get some seeds from that one.
GORGEOUS!

Janis,
These are unbelievable

Dennis,
Love your Cairo.
VERY NICE!

Kevin,
Nice blooms on your Ipomoea trichocarpa
JOSEPH, this is the one you liked that I posted photos of.

Zem,
Little 'Trick Photography', huh
Looks like the Solid Purple that several of us have grown that I know of.
Dennis, Laurrie, myself, and now you.
This vine and one other seemed to bloom longer than any other vines from my PF seeds.
EXQUISITE!

Also, Emma (or anyone else) Have you grown Arum's "Big pale pink"? I sprouted some and the leaves are very... odd Prominently trilobed, pointy, and completely nonvariegated(spelling?). I'll wait for a bloom though.
