I am not that experienced in the garden world but this year my dasies are close to 5.5 feet tall and have really big flowers on them ... all around the neighborhood I see daises at around 2 to 3 feet ..
Do I have super daisies ?
How big do daisies tend to get ?
I love daisy.. I don't know how tall they are.. all I know they grow up to 3 feet. Did you feed them with fertizler like Miracle Gro etc.? If so , it's probably it makes it growing tall and big flowers.
Otherwise.. I would love to have some seeds after flower dead.. ?? LMK..
Lovely! I'm interested in daisies and daisy-like flowers these days. Yours are impressive!
The only info that I can find that describes your daisy is this:
The Giant Daisy (Chrysanthemum uliginosum) has a white flower, but differs from the field Daisy in that the plants are 4 feet to 7 feet tall. They are propagated by seeds or division and it is said that they bloom the first year from seed. They are good background perennials and are also useful for cut flowers. Low, moist places are ideal for this Daisy. They are successfully naturalized.

Could that be your daisy?

Me too! Love Daisy. would rather have bouquet of daisies than one of roses. How weird is that? must find source for this marvel. Unless it's secretly on steroids? LOL ~Blooms
I have shasta daisies. Alaska Shasta daisy gets 4-5 feet tall and has leggy weak stems, need staked. Also have the Becky shasta daisy which get about 3.5 feet tall with very sturdy stems. The Becky is one of my favorite flowers. Spreads really well also. I started out with about 5 small plants 2 years ago and not have an area of about 4 ft. in diameter. Their just now blooming, looks wonderful....
Here is a photo of Shasta Daisy Leucanthemum x superbum "Becky" I planted 12 months ago. The tag that came with them stipulates 36" to 48". After this first year, they measure to 55". The native soil here is alkaline. I planted using Supersoil. I have used Miracle Grow with a hose-end sprayer 3 times in the last two months. The stems are sturdy. We occasionally have winds to 50 mph here where we are 500' higher than the valley floor and haven't had any broken stems. At least in this climate, they are incredibly easy to grow.
