:) It was not a biggie. I think you just added postage for each 100.
If anyone wants to use paypal, that is fine so long as it is not a credit card.
Anybody need more metal plant markers?
Hello Ursula. That is fine. :) Are you in the addy exchange?
Yes, I am.
Thank you very much.
I'll mail you one doll. :) Did you look at the link above to get a feel for the material and design? These things are wonderful!
I just sent you a paypal payment. Thanks for doing this.
Deb
Yes Michelle and I like them very much. Being Chile such a great copper-producer, I should be able to find everything necessary to try doing my own. Who knows, maybe I can even start a new business LOL
Hugs,
Ursula
Got your payment Deb. Thank you
Order has been sent in. :)
Ursula,
Copper sounds like a lovely idea. Would look so much better in the garden than zinc. Let us know what you do.
Sorry Chele for butting in here. I still have about 150 left from the last "purchase" so don't need any. Funny, the only thing getting markers anymore are the daylilies and hostas, maybe a canna or two. I can now remember most of my perennials names.. Imagine that!!!!
Molly
:^)))
Hello Molly!
I will report my results, even if they are not satisfactory LOL.
Hugs,
Ursula
You are welcome any time Molly. :) I think I have less than a dozen left. Those darn daylily co-ops are killing me! LOL Then there is the trading, friends that bring them or send them....you know how it is. I also am using them on Lilies. I don't use them on most other bulbs or perennials as I know those on sight, except for when they are dormant or not up yet and I hack them with the shovel. Whoops!
Uh oh, I forgot about those bulb things! I better get out and put some markers on them before I forget again.
I had a hidden ginger come up that I either forgot or didn't even know about. That's another that dies back even here.
I have such a hard time with that dying back stuff. This is Florida, why wouldn't they want to stay awake to enjoy year round good weather?
I would.
:^)))
Always and adventure Molly, huh? LOL
The order for these has been sent in. I am going to call tomorrow, see if they got my check and ask when these might ship out. If you have not taken care of payment yet, you might want to do that asap. I have already written a check for the full amount out of my own checking account. :)
I just wrote out my check and was going to put it in the envelope. Tried to go to the adress exchange to get your address, and it wont come up. Could you email me your snail mail?
Oh shoot! I forgot the addy exchange is not working.
I will email. Thanks!
mine just left with darrell the mailman!!!!!! :)
Payments are updated. Thanks!
My check has cleared at the company. I sent an E to see when I should expect them and have received no answer. I'll let you all know when they are headed your way. :)
How is this any different from a co-op?
Why do you care? Did you need some? I would hardly call ten people "co-op" by the usual standards and yes, I do understand the meaning of the term. :)
One person was looking for a few people to split the cost and it got out of hand because I wanted more and other people wanted them. I offered to handle the ordering and mailing. I sure think I have been here long enough and am trustworthy, especially since my $500 already paid for them.
They are here and I am headed out to pack them up so they can be mailed. :) And wouldn't you know, Mystic came yesterday and left today. LOL
I just asked a simple question. I know you're trustworthy.
edited to add: Yes, if I'd known this was going on, I'd have jumped on, too. Our Master Gardeners Demonstration Garden is in bad need of more metal markers.

Sorry you missed it. I believe it was ongoing for a couple of weeks before the original post and now. How many do you need for your group? I am sure there are others that would like to share the cost and savings.
The markers are all packed and will leave in the morning. :)
I'll pass. Thanks, though. If I'd gotten in on it, that would have been great, but no worries.
All of the markers just left with John the mailman. :)
yahoooooooooooooooo!
cant wait to see darrell the mailman bring them to the door! ;)
Yipeee Yioooooooooo!!! Great job Badseed!!!!
darrell pulled up today beeping-and lugging a heavy box-he said i know this isnt plants and i said markers and he said must be alot and i said 300 and he said-that might get you started --LOL LOL
thanks so much chele!!!!! smoooooooooochez*******************
ROTFLOL
My mailman pulled up just as I glued the last label on. I asked if he would mind taking them or rather I drop them off. We compromised. I drove three houses and put them in the van for him. LOL All is well that ends well and I didn't have to get dressed (well, out of my bathing suit anyway).
Glad you got them doll!
I got mine today too, heavy heavy box!!! Thankyou so much for doing this for us all!!!!
Ruby
No problem. Hope you can mark plants to your hearts content. LOL
I got mine today too. Lot of good it did me. lol My label maker first the batteries went out and I couldn't find the adaptor, then I got the batteries in and ran out of tape. lol Thanks Chele for doing this.
Mine came yesterday. Thanks so much for doing this.
Deb
I got mine today. Thank you so much for doing this!!!
Thanks, 'chele! Mine arrived today. Doin' the happy dance here!
I went to Hobby Lobby and - after getting blank stares from the employees in art supplies and craft supplies, I finally stumbled over some Sharpie PAINT pens. Is that the right thing to use? Gonna give 'em a try. Wish they had carried just a single black with a medium point, but the only way to get one was to buy a set of five for $11 (on sale - normally $15! Aargh.) Sure hope this works ;o)
got home from vacation and mine were here too!! Now I'm gazing at them deciding whether to do the dirty camping laundry or play in the garden....many thanks chele!!
Anyone know of a source for these aluminum plant markers? The Zinc ones don't survive the salt from my driveway - especially after a winter in which we had as much freezing rain as last year (they corrode) and the wires don't survive my husband's raking of leaves in the autumn. One of my local sources has these for sale, but just individually. They are about 2 1/4" across at the top.
Ann
I want to thank everyone that helped split the cost and savings with me. Everyone paid, the markers got here fast and I had them in my posession for less than a day and back out of here. I hope everyone is enjoying them. :)
Yes'm, I sure am - thanks for splitting an order with all of us ;o)
ditto the thanks-i have use over 50 already in the hosta bed and Im doing all the untagged daylilies next(more of them to do and they is in the sun)
Thanks everyone for making this work! :)
