That's a pretty shade of yellow Maxine. I like Avignon a lot too. I had one open this morning in my front yard that was not labeled. I think it is one of the Regales I divided and moved around last year. Not showing much rose on the outside yet.

Hurrah! Finally have 2 lilies open - one is an unnamed red asiatic and the other is Rosepoint Lace. I was hoping it was taller this year, but it's still kinda shrimpy.

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

Oostburg, WI(Zone 5b)

Thanks for the pics, Kooger! Those are very beautiful!

I don't know what these men are thinking when they want to eat BEFORE we get to play in the garden. Mine is the same way! LOL

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Your Rosepoint is especially pretty. Laying on the ground again for that one? ;)

Oostburg, WI(Zone 5b)

pretty much, wonder if it's ever gonna get taller - it did throw up two stems and both have one bloom. (no Barney to be seen this time tho - he was trying to sniff out the rabbits under the shed) lol

Here is a not great photo of my Silk Road. Sure is a great lily!

Trumphator is a lot like Silk Road as far as size and shape of bloom.
It has a light pink center instead of the deep rose of Silk Road.

Here is a pretty yellow one that seems to have planted itself in the middle of a daylly bed. No idea what it is. Looks like an LA maybe?

After seeing Moby's Silk Road, I decided I must have one. I found a site, The Lily Garden, in Vancouver, WA, that has the bulbs. Has anyone ever ordered from them before?

Thanks, Cait

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

The Lily Garden is a great place to buy from. There was a co-op last year with them. I got some really nice lilies through it.
