Susan, are you sure that is 'American Style'? The description says it is a soft red with white tips and a yellow and green center. Mine hasn't bloomed yet - I hope it is the color described.

Well, after looking at that photo, I'm sure it's not American Style!LOL! I seem to have received a lot of mis labeled ones. Guess it goes on the unknown list.

Where did your mislabeled ones come from?

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

I think the co op, but I'm not 100 sure. I added some from Jung and Wayside garden also.

Susan

Everson, WA(Zone 8a)

I got mine from the co-op; it will be interesting to see how they turn out.

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Which one? Bloomingbulb?

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

See my "Dancing Eyes"? Fat chance. Just another rosy pink. I was VERY careful albeling and this is in a place Walker can't mess it up. i wish I knew where I'd bought it. Supposed to be white with a maroon eye...

Moby looks like small white grass hoppers. Usually not to worry about.

Thanks, KD.

Here is an Easter lily that I rescued from the trash last year. I remember when I was a kid that Easter lilies were so fragrant, almost overpowering. Now they have no fragrance at all. I wonder if florists are using different varieties these days... ?

Finally! It was very windy all day so I have a big pollen smudge on Silk Road.

Yes, Moby, I got my Orienpets from aknapps Bloomingbulb co-op. I hope I got the varieties I ordered. Seems like I read another thread talking about others receiving the wrong bulbs from that co-op but I can't find the thread right now. :^{

Some of the other ?? lilies can be found here ~ http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/520997/ I fairly certain that my ?Tropical Dream came from bloomingbulb.

I'm waiting for dance ballarina dance to open I have a few open now but having to water day and night since we are getting no rain.

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Welcome to DG, prough!

Having the same problem here ~ had a ton of rain last couple of months, now it's dry as a bone.

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Most of my mislabeled ones seem to be from the Bloomingbulb coop. The good thing is that all of them have been pretty and I did get my Black Jack I really wanted and I think Silk Road is going to be Silk Road from the look of the buds, Yours beat mine Moby. There is another shorter stem near my Not-American Style that has not opened yet. I hope it is the real American Style.

This is the thread about people getting the wrong bulbs from the Bloomingbulb co-op. They are discussing contacting Bloomingbulb as a group to get the correct bulbs and would like everyone who received mislabeled bulbs to let them know.

Wow tyke, what a clump of lilies!

That's a pretty one Jody, I like the position of the flower.

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Great clump of Crisom Pixie. I love that deep red one Jody! Here is another shot of my wrong named one. Any Ideas? It's tall. About 5' and this is it's first year. Blooms face outward and somewhat downward. The bloom looking up is resting on a stack. Outside of the petals have some green streaking on them. Color is a bright yellow.

I think this lily is Regale. I've grown it for a long time and finally dug it up and divided it last year, so the stems are shorter than normal this year. It is normally about 5-6' and sometimes has more of the rosey purple streaking on the outside.
