Can't add a new Genus

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Hi, Ursula.
I added Trichopetalum (genus) and Anthericaceae (family) - I think that's the correct family name, yes?

Santiago, Chile(Zone 9b)

Thank you, Terry.

I'm sure you spelled the 'family name' correctly (my ref. books state it in Spanish: Antericacea.

Hugs,

Ursula

Churchill, Victoria, Australia(Zone 10a)

Terry, could you please add Chionogentias in the Gentianaceae,
Ken

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Chionogentias has been added - sorry for the delay!

Churchill, Victoria, Australia(Zone 10a)

Terry,
I shall be adding Luina nardosmia, but I just discovered it has had a name change to Cacaliopsis nardosmia. Luina is in the Plant Files, but Cacaliopsis ( in the Asteraceae) is not. Could you add it please?
Ken

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Ken, Cacaliopsis has been added to the checklist.

Acton, CA(Zone 8b)

would like to add a genus: Quararibea (south american sapote family)

Churchill, Victoria, Australia(Zone 10a)

Terry,
Could you please add the New Zealand genus Ourisia in the Scrophulariaceae to the list,

Ken

Churchill, Victoria, Australia(Zone 10a)

and two more Scrophulariaceae please:
Odontites
and
Parentucellia

Ken

Churchill, Victoria, Australia(Zone 10a)

Sorry Terry, but one more request, could you please add Odixia to the Asteraceae

Ken

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Palmbob, Quararibea was added previously (sorry I didn't come back to let you know!)

Ken, these have all been added:
Ourisia
Odontites
Parentucellia
Odixia

Churchill, Victoria, Australia(Zone 10a)

Terry, a few more genera to add Please:

In the Scrophulariaceae:
Phtheirospermum
Pygmaea

in the Rutaceae:
Asterolasia

thanks
Ken

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Ken, these three have been added to the checklist:

Asterolasia
Phtheirospermum
Pygmaea

Churchill, Victoria, Australia(Zone 10a)

Terry,
I was about to add my pictures of Pygmaea pulvinaris to the PlantFiles, when I realised that I had misidentified the plant completely. It is in fact a different cushion plant, Phyllachne colensoi in the Stylidiaceae.
Could you therefore please add Phyllachne in the Stylidiaceae to the list.
I also discovered that Pygmaea is no longer used and has been replaced by Chionohebe (Scrophulariaceae). I do not have any photos of any in that genus. I leave you to decide whether or not to add it.
Sorry for the confusion,
Ken

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Ken, I added Phyllachne and Chionohebe just now. It won't hurt anything to have Pygmaea on the checklist, as it may be submitted as a synonym.

Churchill, Victoria, Australia(Zone 10a)

Terry, after adding Myriocephalus stuartii to the PlantFiles, I discovered that its name has changed to Polycalymma stuartii. I changed the genus and the change was accepted, but I suspect that Polycalymma (Asteraceae), which is a monotypic Australian genus is not in your list of accepted genera. Could you add it please,
Ken

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Ken, I added Polycalymma.

Churchill, Victoria, Australia(Zone 10a)

Terry,
Can you please add a few more genera:

Sapindaceae:
Harpullia

Balanophoraceae:
Balanophora

Loranthaceae:
Dendrophthoe
Lysiana

Thanks,
Ken

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Ken, I apologize - I think I started adding these, and stopped mid-way. They've all now been added, and I'm also using this as a cutoff point for this thread, and starting a new thread here: http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/613483/
