Hello Plant People. My son is looking for help to identify what might be wrong with his Elaeagnus multiflora. His guess is root rot. All assistance welcome. Thank you

It appears fungal, however, we have a plant Pest and Disease Forum where you can ask. Someone there may have a better idea.
