I've had a busy morning posting pictures of new blooms arriving, the new pond and generally reviewing what's happening out there with all the new growth. And yes, it's spring here too.
I take a picture of a focal item and after it's posted I go back to look at it and review the specific subject and look over the surrounding plants. It occurred to me this morning, even though I buy a lot of plants from cyperspace and local space, there are many plants scattered about the gardens that came from my dear friends here at Dave's.
Try as I might, I cannot have a formal/neat garden. And I guess that's the way it will always be with me. Things are scattered here, there and everywhere and reminders of kindness and generosity abound. (I don't get that warm fuzzy feeling looking at the neat as a pin tupperware cupboard in the house and it certainly doesn't bring tears to my eyes.)
This garden isn't mine, it's yours, you are just letting me take care of it.
Nathalyn, you gave me my first Angel, there on the right and Gagalinfla you fed my new found love of them with Sunray. Moda, the snail vine makes me think of you, AmGal, the Azalea is back there too and the stones are the hard work and talent of Jannich.
This Isn't My Garden
I am delighted to see that you have been a very good plant mommy. :)
Awww, Molly, what a neat way to look at it! (And how pretty!!)
Molly, You and I must be having an ESP moment. Just yesterday, I was thinking that my gardens are made up of plants from LOTS of DG folks.
And it makes me feel nice to think that there are DG friends that look at a plant in their gardens and think "gee, this came from Nat".
:-)
Nat,
Spring may finally be getting here, a new awakening, new life, new feelings.
It's a wonderful thing.
:^))))
Molly, I HOPE spring is really here. My avg. last frost date is April 9, and yet, we have had 2 frosts in the last 10 days and numerous nights in the 30's. Needless to say, I have tons of stuff that I have still on the wagons going in and out, plus I have to cover a lot of the more tender stuff that was planted on 4/9.
Is it worth it? You bet cha!!
I can't think of any place better to be than in a beautiful garden that gives you wonderful memories of lovely people. It looks all the more gorgeous to me knowing where your beauties have come from.
Molly, your words of praise for all your lovely plants are my thoughts also as I walk my gardens everyday. I cannot believe that over half of my gardens are from all my DG friends and I can name where most of them came from too.
When I show my non garden friends around the garden, I point to my plants and tell them that I got this from so and so who lives in this state or country. Isn't is amazing?
Donna
