I take a picture of a focal item and after it's posted I go back to look at it and review the specific subject and look over the surrounding plants. It occurred to me this morning, even though I buy a lot of plants from cyperspace and local space, there are many plants scattered about the gardens that came from my dear friends here at Dave's. Try as I might, I cannot have a formal/neat garden. And I guess that's the way it will always be with me. Things are scattered here, there and everywhere and reminders of kindness and generosity abound. (I don't get that warm fuzzy feeling looking at the neat as a pin tupperware cupboard in the house and it certainly doesn't bring tears to my eyes.) This garden isn't mine, it's yours, you are just letting me take care of it. Nathalyn, you gave me my first Angel, there on the right and Gagalinfla you fed my new found love of them with Sunray. Moda, the snail vine makes me think of you, AmGal, the Azalea is back there too and the stones are the hard work and talent of Jannich. |
