Now Tazzy is master at shipping fast . Do you have lessons for that I stay so far behind I can't find what I am behind on, LOL But since I have a long wait here I may be so lucky and get some of this years new seed . Some Blessing with this Robin.

I just love the "Flate Rate Box" flower and Jill's Echinacea 'Art's Pride' on the box. I was an Orange Meadowbrite Echinacea for Halloween last year.

The Reverse Robin is looking good!! :-)

Mitch, I'm confused.... "3rd robin?" "lots of problems??" There are 2 robins on this thread, and both seem to be going along without problems.

Seattle, WA(Zone 8a)

Thanks, Jill. Sometime I need to throw a halloween party for gardeners, though. It was rather lost on folks, but I was quite proud of it. I am already planning this year's costume!

I think since I am near the end of the original round Robin I will put all my seeds in the Reverse Round Robin so that more people will have access to them. Does that make sense?

Belleville, IL(Zone 6b)

Please let me know via email through Daves Garden when the package is mailed to me.
If it is the postal service I can guesstimate when they get here, if UPS I never know when they are coming.
I have to open the gate for the carrier since the front yard has been fenced.
I may not see the notice here and miss the message.

Tillamook, OR(Zone 8b)

Mindy, thanks again for doing the map. It's fun to follow the flight paths on it -- gives a real idea of just how far these seeds are traveling!

Raven, hope you're up & about and feeling fine soon!!

Wichita, KS

That is so cool, Mindy. Thank you for all your work and dedication to this project.

How exciting, it's almost here! And WAY ahead of schedule! Whoopee!

Shepherd, TX(Zone 8b)

The packets look like the larger garden packets, so maybe there will be plenty to go around...

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

Every fall our house is covered with ladybugs looking to hibernate. They come in through the cracks in and around the doors and windows and go up to the ceiling and hang out in clusters, until I sweep them back outdoors. Then in the spring? I don't know where they go, but I don't see hundreds of them on my plants. I wish they would stick around during the growing season.
I got my tiller that my husband promised me for my birthday this year on the 3rd of April. He kept looking around and getting brochures. Now it is in the garage waiting to be used. I used some round-up today to prepare for my sunflower bed. I can hardly wait to make another flower bed or two or three.

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

Windy, I read somewhere recently (wish I could remember where!) that the ladybugs that invade houses in fall are not the same as our garden ladybugs but are some other species. My SIL has trouble with them too, and she says the easiest thing is to vacuum them up.

Congrats on your new tiller!! What did you get? My neighbor has a large one he's willing to loan out, but it's so big it would just toss me around the yard.

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

I got the Mantis and love it. It's very lightweight and easy to hande. Watch out for the assembly insrtuctions, though, they instruct you to put the handle on backwards - good way to lose yout toes!!!

Thanks for info Donna! It just so happens I have quite a few of those seeds and can start planting them ASAP! Ain't it neat having friends in the garden???

Belleville, IL(Zone 6b)

Bob bought me a 6 hp one from Lowe's. I believe it is the same as the neighbor man has. He lent it out to another neighbor once and even tilled my little vegetable garden plot one year. Very nice man. Mine has a reverse gear so I can pull it backwards, but it is not for tilling in the reverse gear. Just for moving it instead of turning it all the time.
We had rented one also a couple of years ago, so I am a little bit better than no experience, yet know just enough to probably get by. LOL I am just afraid I might wreck it.
The Mantis would probably work for me after I used the tiller a few years. The parts that I want to grow things in are just too compacted to use a Mantis. Sigh. They look so user friendly though.
I did vacuum them a few times and hosed them off the house. I think they may be mating also and have pheromones attracting them to each other.
