Ah, Dyson, they do grow other places... unfortunately! You guys are right about using them as a barrier. An amorous young person would soon become less amorous having fallen into a Devil's Club. The spines break off under the skin and fester... not very romantic! Out in the woods, far from my yard and gardens, there are really quite beautiful.
