Seed Snatchin' Part VI

Sure! I always have stale beer around, I don't drink the stuff myself and what I buy for guests always ends up getting thrown out. Got whiskey, dishwashing liquid, colas cheap enough to buy:), think I have some amonia hanging around somewhere.. so.. I'll just have to get the "backy" and lemon mouthwash, (use Walmarts Listerine version only).. I have a 55 gallon fish tank that I can rob emulsion from and have before, loaded with some Schultz plant food that I liquidize before use.

So yeah, I'm raring to go.. which parts of these will kill weeds? any of them?

Trust me you don't want to eat 'wine' grapes as they are yucky! In Aug when they start ripening we do sometimes have guests who pick a few but they VERY DIPLOMATICALLY and discreetly let folks know it's a no-no- LOL!!
Besides with the air cannons going off [to scare away the birds] most folks stay far away from the vines as those things will scare the #$@% outta ya!

Berrygirl...Wow, they shoot those things off in subdivisions in the town where my brother lives to keep the blackbirds from nesting. They are a real problem there, carrying parasites and viruses with them that are being transmitted to the people. My brother lives in the country on his own place. One weekend I went to see him and was asleep on his sofa bed in the living room when I heard a "CRACK!". I raised my head up, it sounded like glass cracking, thought the coffee pots cracked. When I got up and investigated, he was sitting on the back porch with a 22 rifle, shooting blackbirds. LOL.

I have neibors who hunt the black powder season for deer here and seem to target practice the rest of the year. It does get loud at times.

Ah, yes... I can see myself shuffling around in a pair of expensive shoes with the heels worn down, a big floppy hat and a large straw bag. I'm yakking away at no one in particular. I see a vine of grapes, exclaim over them, then as I reach to pluck one up, off goes the cannon! I screech... I clutch my heart, I sink the the ground. I refuse an ambulance, but ask for a few moments in alone in the flower garden to recover... just me, my floppy hat, and my big straw bag...hmmm.

Hey Berrygirl - be down in a Jiffy for some Snatchin' at your place of employment! :) Ooohhhh - and I can walk around with a nice Merlot in one hand and clippers in the other!! I've done some Snatchin' up at Chateau Morrissette in Va, and vineyards are a Snatchers dream! They might need some help pruning those old grape vines ya' know! I just took a class on that! Of course I will help pick up all the 'debris' left laying around....

I have the Jerry Baker handbooks myself Blaine! I don't use all his ideas but I do use quite a few of them! Interesting approach for sure!

Come on down!! You're not that far away from me and the Merlot [I am told] will be worth the trip. Not a wine conniseur myself as it all tastes the same to me- [yucky] but don't tell them I said that. It's funny that I work at a winery/golf resort and don't like nor do I know anything about either subject- hee hee!

A bunch of you seed snatchers could come down during the busy harvest time in Aug. and could probably totally remove the flower beds and no one would notice. Everyone is caught up in the harvest festivals and there are such big crowds that you'd never be seen. Plus everyone is walking around stone DRUNK!! Weeez could do her fake heart attack for us to distract everyone. Hmmmm..... I'm thinking walkie talkies, golf carts, huge pieces of luggage.....
