i have extra strait jacket want to borrow ?
Brenda aka langbr need a new best friend part 2
No thanks ~ I always just gnaw through the fabric anyway. And it's a little less challenging than chewing through the leather restraints every morning.
In to leather chewing ? huh ? why am i not surprised ?
Note to self: when institutionalized gnaw through straight jacket. I'll remember that one. I'll bet you're able to skip breakfast and your daily fiber supplements, too?
I heard its loaded with calories ?
Good roughage.
That sounds wonderful, Tazzy, but don't stay away from the computer for too long... we would miss ya...
not a chance .love my puter . need my friends
we need you , too ;)
i have a double window right were my computer is set up and i love it that way. i can look out and see what my squirrel friends are doing, or watch the seasons change in the woods behind my house and of course there are some garden views here too. tazzy i agree with you, looking out that window brings me peace, serenity and such abundant gratitude for life in its simplest and most precious forms.
langbr, I see you are sharing your lil white pics... thank you so much... hang on a sec...while I go get the fireplace going... some hot cocoa... long john's... ahh, much better, you were saying?
Fire roaring here since last night.....nice and toasty!
;) ... toasty is a good thing... I think I have been in denial (or perhaps just very sick for a bit), but I haven't put up my birdfeeders yet. Matter of fact, I still have one hummingbird feeder still hanging... I am way behind here, guess I will have to switch gears...
Birdies having a good time today at the one feeder I can see from my office window.
is that pic of the view out of your office window?
Lost this thread for awhile---I'm back!
Tazzy, if you fix the roof, does that mean you will have to start actually WATERINGall the plants in the room????
ps. Too many fake $100 bills around here from my money tree. Cops may get wise and raid my garden. Please send me a cutting from a $50 bill tree someone. i need to buy Christmas presents for all my DG friends....
yes and water bill will sky rocket .See if the worst things can be useful.
Leaky roof stick plants under it . its the half full theory , "Don't know why "?
Because at first it sure seems half empty .
Tazzy, been reading down thru to catch up and see you say 'roof in January' Isn't Jan a bad weather month in OK?
It's being beautifully sunny here and I'm headed out as soon as I get off the phone with my sister. LOL
Do you have to turn up the heat to keep the snow melted in your "sun room"?
LOL Works for me! Anything to avoid work...
yup turn up heat .yes Jan. stink but that when we get a Small lump payment on his retirement thats stars in Jan .
and the good thing is no plant to hurt it will be mell of a hess 3 layers to take off and re deck .
Sorry for the late reply, Starr. That pic is out my back door. My office window is to the right of the pic and to the far side of the railing in the background. There's a feeder in the tree just barely visible in the very upper-right corner.
Goodnight my friends. Wishing you a very happy and blessed Thanksgiving with your families tomorrow.

Wow, Tazzy! That looks really nice! I'm jealous!!
its going be neat when we are finished.
Tazzy, in your first picture you showed cars parked on a green right of way off the street. Hope I am describing that right.
Is that normal for your part of Okl?
I have never seen that before. what a convience.
Looks like you will have a very nice greenhouse when you get done.
Will take picture later of mine which was made out of scrap lumber we salvaged after tornado hit us costing us around $100 total.
Its snowing out right now. first snow of the season, so guess winter has come!
Maxine
Our house is up on a hill and the street that runs in front is McKinley ave . its also old hwy,97 so we have no driveways in front on our side we have to park off alley .across the street they have drive ways but when they have company, like on Thanksgiving they park in yard or right -away big fine if you get caught but small police force so on holidays every one looks other way .
Your house looks like mine! I came home from our trip loaded down with plants from cousin in Oregon, and friend also there, plus couldn't turn down plants that were on sale.
When I got home a friend in Alabama had sent me 17 house plants.
Geez, now I am over run with house plants. If not careful will get as many as my grandmother had when she went in the rest home. 200!!!!
Maxine
Boy keep snow send house plants LOL I'm going to put runing lights in it when done to make it gaudy to others but prudy to me its covered in the new clear corrated clear plastic so the light will be really psychedelic shining threw waffled plastic ..there finishing door right now and then we got some electrical work to do and panting pa shed he finally tricked me in to finishing his job of painting it he started and quit 3 years ago .No way am i going to have that baby poop yellow on my back wall . then got to fix floor and dig cold frame hole for keeping bulbs over winter .Pant PANT tired thinking about it
Oh my, I am so impressed Tazzy!!
What a worker you are. May I borrow some of your excess energy?
Need it if I am going to get my butt into gear and get things done around here.
Starting putting out some Xmas things the last few days. Kids have given me some very nice things and it isn't right that they spend all their days in a dark closet.
Then they ask, where is so and so?
Any one ever planted lily seeds in a container and put it outside in a sheltered area over winter?
Maxine
Wow, it's coming along, Tazzy! Where is the door?
oh, Terrie, thank you... I hesitated to mention my ignorance but can't see door frame either. Still only have to move one cross bar and there you are. Unless of course one climbs in and out the vent window. heehee. Didn't want to be the only one who couldn't see it.
And what color is the ugly yellow going to be when it is transformed. Sky blue with some coloring book mountains? You mean Christmas lights? They give a lovely look to a greenhouse. Smiles ))
it going to be light Grey i got paint today it matches whats on rest of shed . Shed runs W>E. the part with window is South. Door is on east end whitch dose not show in picture .LOL you would not believe the times i have painted self in corner so it is a wonder i have a door ? Its there ? I think ? Well its to cold to go look right now >Ringing hands now (( did i put door in ?? ))
