US has Double Pink

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thanks to Monika for the seed of this brug. I almost missed seeing it. I was outside checking on a double that I'm waiting on and saw this pink bloom inside a pink suaveolens of my own. Our storms this summer had made the tree very crooked and I hadn't noticed it was budded because of where the top of it was resting. I would have died if I had missed this one. Due to our storms today, it has taken a little bit of a beating. Maybe the next blooms will photograph better.

I won't be giving cuttings out this year. I'm sorry. You all know how I am about growing brugs for a couple of seasons before letting them go. I hope you can enjoy it anyway knowing that it won't be all that long before it can be in your gardens. There may even be better ones that will come along, but I'm just excited to finally have a double pink.
