Kell is there anything I can offer to get a piece of this beauty? I know that everyone wants a piece but who could blame them.
Since I don't have any brugs that you don't have I thought I could bribe ya with something else, maybe your picture burned on a gourd or my big toe *giggle* I just thought I'd make ya laugh a bit.
I was serious about the gourd, you can see some of my work here http://davesgarden.com/t/377830/ of Shoe
and this one of Whiterose http://davesgarden.com/fp.php?pid=505772

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

I don't know Whiterose, but she surely is cute and the gourds are wonderful, what a clever idea!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL Wind, my picture on or off a gourd would not be my first choice! LOL But your gourds are beautiful! Sounds like you have the brug virus bad! I still get that pure feeling of lust looking at some brugs! Then I look in my backyard at wall to wall brugs and realize I am insane.

I hope that anyone that fancies this one will get it, Wind. My problem is that it is small and there is nothing yet to cut on. I haven't even cut a piece for Susie yet and as the hybridizer she gets it first. As soon as it starts putting out side growth it will get cut.

Marshfield, MO(Zone 6a)

I think I would give my first born child for a cutting of that one, lol, well, not really, but understand you can't cut on it yet. We will be waiting.....how about some pollen, though?

Kingston, OK(Zone 7a)

3675 people viewed it and all want a piece. You did not know you and Susie were so popular.

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

TA....3000 of those views was me re-looking at it! I'm in love with this gorgeous brug!

Milo, IA(Zone 5a)

I keep coming back too. It is an awesome brug.

Kingston, OK(Zone 7a)

I will be begging next year. You did not see me but I was looking over your shoulder all the time.

Whitewater, WI

Back again for my daily fix..... :)

(Zone 5a)

Yes I do love these beautiful plants but have limited garden space but for this one I would make room. It must be nice to look in your yard and see so many of these beauites.....I can only dream.
I do understand that you have obligations to Susie's and a few of your brug buddies but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask.

Linden, TN

Many prayers and special thought going out for your Mother, Kell.... I will add her to my prayer list. Perhaps you might wish to name this gorgeous Brug for her?? She might love knowing something like that and something so very special.
That Brug is an absolute awesome thing and althought I am a newbie here to this wonderful site, I would like to toss my name into the hat for a cutting from this lovely plant, I would most certainly cherish it....

Blessings,
Carolyn

Gardiner, ME(Zone 5a)

OH Carolyn !......what a sweet thought.....I vote for that and especially since the color is red..the color of love,
Brigitte

Kell,

After looking at your beautiful brug over and over yesterday, I had the same thought last night. Why not name this lovely plant for your mother?

I have a couple of brugs growing in my garden that my mom gave me cuttings of this spring. I have never seen hers bloom and mine have not bloomed yet, but I swear, she says one of them is red. We will see.

You and your mother are in my prayers.

Jane

I have come by to read more of the posts here, and I must say, I am even more in awe of this very, very special Brug. The "whiskers" are incredable... just wow.... I don't know what else to say except I can't seem to get enough of looking at this beautiful flower.

Prayers Continue for your mom, Kell.

Blessings,
Carolyn

Thanks all! I really wish I had enough pieces and pollen to spread it around to all who want it. I hope I do not kill it with kindness! I have been feeding it like crazy! So hopefully it will grow grow grow!
