Osteole, when I write a long post, I find it useful to copy it into the clipboard (highlight text and press CTRL+C). Then, if something does happen, I can paste it right back into the text box (CTRL+V). I do this when writing entries in my blog, too, as well as other sites. Hope that helps! :)
