They basically screamed for me to take their pic this morning. We're always a little behind up here. The color on these I know was not like this last year! They're my favorite. Mere:)

Actually, are you talking about the "lilac wonder" I posted? The way the shot was taken, it looks like a daff, but it is actually a tulip. I got it in a package of 5, from NW Seed & Pet, but the bulbs are from "Langeveld", a Holland Bulb company. I'm sure these are distributed all over the place, as I saw it posted in the Plants Database, as well.

http://www.manntaylor.com/plantweek1d.html (info about them)

http://www.groworganic.com/a/item_FB3827_TulipLilacWonderPackOf10.html (you can order online from here, but they are currently out of stock - they are a fall planting bulb anyways).

I just found them here locally, from a garden place that is a distributor for them.

Oh anahi - just look at that lovely little spring path :) Love it!

We're still getting spring. This is a bed at our rental property today. Don't mind the mess we have some work to do. But you can see the daylilies are just tryin to grow and the only thing bloomin is the few daffy's I had left over from my house. The hyacinths aren't even up there yet. Soon we will have some GOSH DARN SSSSUUUUNNNNN!!
Sorry, had to get that out... I have a bit of zone envy. Mere

*drooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool* How many did you plant this year??? :D

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

Oh Dea that's pretty! I can never get my daffs & tulips to bloom at the same time. By the time my tulips are blooming, my daffs are pretty much spent.

hpluver - you must have had a cold spring if your bulbs aren't blooming yet. I'm in zone 5b and mine are almost finished blooming!

Canadaigua, NY(Zone 6b)

It gets really cold in the valley. At the county park up the hill they still have snow and we've been at 50-65 all week. We can never shake it. It happens every year. Mere

Anahi.....That daffodil is not Tahiti....Tahiti is a double yellow with orange in between the yellow. The Anemone is Anemone Blanda White Splendour. Your daffodil looks more like Fortune or so.

Banning, CA(Zone 9b)

DEEEEEAAAAAA!!!!! OMGGGGGGG.... THAT IS SOOOOOOOO BEEEAUUUUUTIFUL!!!!!!!! oh i hope to someday have that kind of display!!!! oh droooooool is right!!! are those panseys at the very bottom? looove the daffs with those tulips!!! whaaaaaa i want it!!!! how many tulips would u say are planted in that spot?

here is my orientals getting ready to bloom.. this was taken yesterday or the day before... (: the first pic is of a pink tiger lily... never had any kind of lily... this is my first year...(:

Bleek, you're right the daffodil in the picture with the white splender is fortune. The one posted on april 21st(bright and happy daffodils) is the one in question. It was here when we bought the house and I really have no idea what the name of it is. Check out the picture posted on the 21st and let me know what you think it is. thanks.
