Gosh I don't know about the tulips. I'd have to try to jog Bleek's memory. I didn't plan on keeping them so I didn't save the bags they came in.

The variety of Tulip from ecobioangie is "Lucky Strike".

I have to say that she did a fantastic job with those pots of Tulips. What do you think about the yellow "Monte Carlo", I think it is great.

She needs to tell me how she did this.....in Georgia......in pots. Next time I see her I do need to check if her thumbs are green. I bet you they are.

Mableton, GA(Zone 7b)

LOL Thanks for dropping by to give langbr her identification on that tulip. I remember now! They are done now and are getting cut back leaves and all to let the snaps grow big. I had no intentions of saving the bulbs for next year.
They all turned out great Bleek. Those Negritas in that pot with the daffs and crocus are all yours too. Beautiful bulbs. Thank you. :) All I did was pot them up in Miracle Grow dirt and make sure they didn't totally dry out. They sat outside all 'winter'. I say that because it hardly froze here this year. I'll definitely buy from www.eflowergardens.com again! ;)

Our spring is almost finished here on the Northcoast of CA, but it was glorious in late Feb, and all through March! Here is a shot of a mixed bunch of Daffodils that were blooming Mid-March. I still have almost 70 that were planted two months too late, so I hope they come up this year.

Beautiful, ladyrowan!! Any idea the name of the white daff with the ruffled cup? Gorgeous!!

Garberville, CA(Zone 9a)

Are you talking about the white daff with the pale yellow cup? That one started out looking like the flower below, and the cup fades to the one already posted. This one was taken on 3/11/04

This is what "Ice Follies" looks like when it first blooms. As the days pass, the cup fades to a pale butter yellow.

I really like this variety, which is called "Ice Follies". The picture below is a closer look at it. I need to get more this fall, because this particular variety was very pretty.

My fresias are in bloom right now, and are extremely fragrant. This red/yellow variety is the only thing blooming, but a more purple-ish color is about to bloom, and a bunch more is on the way.

And my absolute favorite Tulip so far this season is this amazing red/white parrot that I planted in my strawberry pot last fall. I cannot believe the color! This one was taken on my birthday, when it was in full bloom.

hi ecobioangie, u know ur right , i didnt even notice it in this pic.... but it was very blue that day... as it is today.. of course we dont always have such blue skys around this time.. last week we just got rid of the fog finally .. lol.. i dont mind the fog but i like when it burns off by 9am... lol...i think when the skys are that blue it really sets of the gardens and really brings out the colors in flowers

langbr, my hubby bought me Ice Follies in oct last year... and they are an awesome daffodil... they come out bright, bright yellow... then fade to a pale yellow with whit edges.. plus they smell really nice... and the ruffle sticks out from the flower beautifully!!!!! here are two pics of mine this year, of course the first year i've had them..... this is a pic of the day they bloomed, and the other after they faded... (:

potemup, is that a voodoo lily? and i LOVE that white shrub (is that a shrub?) thats a great idea for the voodoo... every pic i have see for that lily , u could never see the flower.... but with that white/silver backdrop , u can really see the flower!!! wonderful!

dea... i love comming to daves garden to look at everyones pics... i agree with u.. sure does make u smile!!! when i see other peoples garden pics i get the same feeling as when i am in my garden looking at all the blooms..(: i go out every morning to look for new blooms! armed with my camera of course! lolol.. (:

ecobioangie, thanx alot... i try to capture what i see when i go out in the morning... and sometimes the flatness of pics takes away from the stunning beauty of the flowers.. so i try to get the detail as much as i can.. i know i just posted a pic of the bearded iris , but on compairing the pics of yeasterday and today the flower is open in the center more today and u can see inside of it... so i am going to post two more pics of it.... yesterday it was a little windy so i couldnt get a real good closeup of the flower.. anyway here they are... This is a neat daffodil, because there was a pale yellow ring about half-way in on the cup of the flower. The cup itself was a pink, or peach color, which was very dynamic against the white petals. Taken April 1

Love them all, you guys! Keep 'em comin'!!
