so where's the link to see for myself? ha ha! actually I did see it but DH did not and he didn't quite believe that I saw what I said I saw........It was so fast that I thought it was a pastie too. Pastie or jewelry, either one was out of line and of poor taste. Anything for the headlines, I guess.

I can't believe CBS said they didn't know anything about it. For weeks they have been hyping a "big surprise appearance" at half time. The chat on the 'net was it might be President Bush or Michael Jackson. Apparently they thought Janice Jackson's right booby qualified as the "big surprise". I think the biggest surprise for CBS was the reaction of disgust that has been expressed.(Mine included)

Statement by NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue regarding the Super Bowl halftime show:

"We were extremely disappointed by the MTV-produced halftime show. It was totally inconsistent with assurances our office was given about the content of the show.

"The show was offensive, inappropriate and embarrassing to us and our fans. We will change our policy, our people and our processes for managing the halftime entertainment in the future in order to deal far more effectively with the quality of this aspect of the Super Bowl."

We need to go back to playing the game in the home city of the team with the best record. If this game had been outdoors in Foxboro Janets boob would not have been there, let alone bare

Good Publicity/Bad Publicity all the same, keeps her name in the news, and I'm sure that is what it was all about.

We will get our chance again next year. I think the Superbowl should be played on a neutral field. The half time show was terrible and offensive. They just need someone that knows what they are doing to get the right show.

(I'll go do the half-time show next year, and promise only to expose inner hilarity, one-legged singing, and promote DG.)

I don't agree with that article. I saw it clearly when it happened and she was ready for it, it was choreographed and she did not look shocked. The cover-up you see was after the camera was off them. I also didn't like dirty lyrics by earlier performers nor the crotch-grabbing. I don't believe much in censorship but this is taking advantage to be downright indecent. Janet has a new album coming out now and I'm sure that's why we saw that debauchery stunt. There will be repercussions for some time.
And CBS need to stop letting MTV produce these shows. Don't they know that there are a lot of viewers who are not teenagers who love dirty rap?

Silly me. I loved the game. The defense on both sides killed each other in the first half. 2nd half was who could score faster. I actually missed Ms. Jackson and Kid Rock because my glass was empty and I hated the music anyway. Sorry they spoiled it for families with thier kids watching. Maybe next year they might use a champion marching band for half-time? Something I might watch?

The NFL might stop letting MTV produce the show. But I believe CBS and MTV are owned by the same company. They are also the ones who produce the Howard Stern TV show which is nothing but garbage. At least it's not on during the dinner hour though. I only herd this on the radio so don't take it for gosple.

Frankay, I'm sorry and you are right. It was a great game although who woulda thought it in the first half? I was on the edge of my seat most of the time and was very proud of the Panthers and what they accomplished in the last 2 years. There is one other thing that should be hitting the news but hasn't. How come no one is hollering how that guy got an officials uniform and got out on the field where he stripped and danced around? He could have had a bomb attached to him and detonated it, killing everyhone on the field and sidelines. This was definitely a security break-dwon after all that publicity about how much effort had been made to protect the site and fans.......?

Well, it's back today. Discussion about all the stuff grabbed by the law at Neverland including 15 computers. It's gonna be interesting.....

I noticed on Drudge's page that Jackson's costume had snaps all along the front around that cup. There's no way it was a "malfunction" for it to come off like that.

I saw a picture of the piercing and shuddered to think what might have been if Justin and grabbed it along with the costume.Ouch!!!!!! I thought it was a great game and the lousiest half-time ever. I was equally offended by the rapper grabbing his crouch as I was with Janet's boob. Maybe next year they will decency police along with all the other security. Lou

But this is the same garbage a whole generation of American youth watch EVERYDAY. Its not about the Super Bowl its about lost standards and head in the sand parenting. MTV is everywhere, everday!

Now Janet apologized yesterday, saying the bodice-ripping was a "last-minute" decision they made after the dress rehearsal, that MTV didn't even know about it.

GW, somebody really had to do some fast "snap sewing" if it was truly a last minute decision. (LOL)

I told them your name was Howie and that you were married to GARDENWIFE. They have the names straight now/again, not sure if they still quite comprehend why people have internet names and real names.
