The guys scarfed down wings so hot even the supposedly hot-food-loving people were gasping for breath. I didn't even try!

It's funny, they're all talking during the game, but everyone knows to shut up for the commercials so everyone can hear. The horse in that Bud light commercial must have gotten ahold of some of these wings.

Ooooh...TOUCHDOWN! But by whom? You can tell I'm really paying attention. Ok, it was the Patriots, judging from how they all look happy and are beating each other on their helmets.

well uh no...not unless you're eating those "buffalo wings"
also since the wide right there has been a "save" by the Panther D. Is this a hockey game??

So I guess the BIG bet in VEGAS today wasn't on the Game but it is "will Michael Jackson hop on stage with Janet at Half Time"????? LOL

Man what a great game. This is great. Ok now that the wings are gone I have on my white Stephen Davis jersey from his redskins day.

This 80 year old guy can't take too much, the cartiack cats are really giving my heart a hard time. We are a long ways from being out of it.

I could really do without Kid Rock and never miss him.

The half-time show was a real bust, on so many different levels. l'd have rather seen Michael!

I think next year we have the roundup entertainment taped and we all put Shoe, Al and Lisa and Kim in the vcr and see some good entertainment at half time. The half time gets worst every year or have I become an old foggy.

My favorite part was the Pregame show!

The game was so boring in the first half, and DH fell asleep. I woke him up for the half time show, but, as you all have said....It was terrible!!!!

At least this second half is more exciting...22 to 21.

I am also full. DH had Lox and Bagels and I had a nice Italian sausage sandwich. These are both our favorite type foods. lol

BTW, did you like the commercial for the potato chips? The one where the old people fight for the bag their son dropped. We laughed good on that one.

Dg is running so slow right now, so I can't access to this thread very easy. Guess I'll just have to wait and wait.

Could someone tell me what the "hold-up" was on the field just when they were getting ready for the 2nd half kick-off..it kept showing this player staring at something on the field but the camera never did show anything.....do you think maybe someone did a " streak" or the likes...I must have missed something....dad-blame it !!!!

A guy came out in a referee uniform,took it off and streaked the field.

ooops .....another Pats touchdown!!!

There is about a minute and a half to go and what a game this has turned out to be!!!!


Both QB have over 300 yard's!!! WOW!!!

Well that sure was one of the best super bowls I have seen in a while. I was rooting for the panthers but either way that was a good game. My prediction for wining by 3 was right, just the wrong team.

Amazing game! Did you realize the Super Bowl has never had an overtime in 38 years? The streaker dancing was amazing but I loved the way the network blocked it so he didn't get all the publicity he was seeking.
CBS is apoligizing this morning for the Janet Jackson thing. She and Justin Timberlake are claiming it was a " costume failure", lol. We weren't blind and we saw him reach up and rip that thing off. This was so obviously pre-planned. I thought Janet was the sane one.......

If that was a piercing and not a pastie, then she's nuts. I can just imagine that leading to breast cancer eventually. If she keep some kind of jewelry piece in there, the discomfort of the jewelry rubbing against clothing is going to be a constant aggrevation. This woman is 37 years old; what is she thinking?
Even that scene with Justin Timberlake ripping off the front of that costume was almost a sexual abuse satire. What an ugly message that sends..

Just wait. We will see a spate of boys trying to tear away girls tops, especially during bathing suit season and also a spate of nipple-piercing. I hope Janet's album fails and McDonald's drops Justin Timberlake. His contract may have a morality clause and he may not get his deferred payments. I hope everyone comes down hard on them. I wanted to see a football game and the half-time show was secondary. I did not want to see a strip show.

I was watching for the comercials not much into football, and was really hoping for a good halftime show. I was disapointed. Althogh my jaw was on the floor I could have done without it since I did have some respect for Janet, Justin is just a kid and nothing special to me but even he should have known better than to do something like that. P. Diddy who has quite a reputation did much better than that. The talent on stage was there we didnt need to see anything else. Unfortunatly I missed most of the comercials too, I got busy doing things around the house and grocery shopping so now I have to wait for them to filter into the regular comercial showtimes.

even my 21 yr old DD was shocked at the 'display' Trying to play it off as a 'wardrobe malfunction' is even worse. If you're going to take such a huge risk and it turns out badly, at least take responsibility for it.
