Think this will stink?

The weeds in that darned Euphorbia.

I told the 7 year old if he takes another "cutting" from one of my Plumerias, it's going to be his job to weed the Euphorbias.

I think I've broken his habit.

Looks like underplanting to me,it is very common here, and perennial!

I guess I should wake my Plumreia,up from its nap.

Brugie: the unusualness and that they are absoultly increadable looking far out way the smell. yea they stink "when" they bloom but when you grow Amorphophallus you understand that going into it. and if you have a week stomach you better rethink having them. I saw a rivierii in leaf that was taller than i was. here is a good amorphophallus link http://www4.ncsu.edu/~alan/plants/aroids/amorphophallus/

Yes, I do fertilize with osmacote and I use miricle grow also. And I use Promix, it's a soiless mix. One great thing about these plants is they don't stink for long, and you forget about the smell when you see the foliage.

Thanks everyone. Can't wait to get past the smell and on to the foliage.

i actually think the flower is the best part(except for the smell) to bad it does not last so long

Here is a photo of me next to a couple A. titanum leaves in the Princess of Wales Conservatory at Kew Gardens. The stem(?) was more than 6 inches in diameter. Very nice markings, though.

By the way, if anyone has A. riverii/konjac or Dracunculus vulgaris offsets to trade this fall (or whenever), I would love to get one or two.
