Here's MY ANGEL, made by my mother for me 40+ years ago. She hangs above my Christmas tree every year. Isn't she so 1950's??

Merry Christmas everyone.

A final thanks to all who contributed to our

Here's the last version of the quilt backing, if I missed your name please let me know.

I'll leave the quilt up for a couple weeks and then fold it away with tissue to be pulled out next holiday season to enjoy the memories again. If you'd like to see it at anytime just let me know and I can upload it again.

Happy holidays to one and all...it's almost turkey time at our house and the sun has come out and it's pushing 60F. I love California. :-)

OK, I finally have my tree up! We put it up on Christmas eve! This is my favorite ornament every year. It was made just for me by my boy Tom in 1985 when he was 3 years old.

Wow, someone who actually waits until Christmas Eve to put up the tree! What a cute ornament - bet it means a great deal to ya.

OK, Kell's cute ornament has been added and the quilt is now full....save all your ornament pictures for next year's quilt.

Perhaps we should do a Spring Flowers Quilt beginning in March or so to track the emergence of our gardens from their winter sleep?

Also the backing has been updated.....

GW, we were getting sick of Christmas all over starting in October, so we decided to do our tree Christmas eve. It really is more fun for us.

Wow. I just got in under the wire! I had not noticed you had closed it Happenstance.........glad you let me squeeze in. I just showed our quilt to my son and he gave me a big smile! Thanks for all your work on this. You even have music!!!

Here my kid is at the age he made the ornament. My baby is all grown up now! 21!!

Lovely tree, and I want an elf ladder like that!

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Thanks, Darius! I've had the ladder and elves (they're Annalea dolls) for 25 years. Seems like all kids (young and old) that see it, love it.

Kaufman, I can't open your links.
Does anyone know a source for a small lighted star to go on top of a table-top tree?

Paris, TX(Zone 8a)

LOL. I'm sorry. I just now read the post about the quilt being full. I guess I should have read the whole thread before posting.

Edited...
Ok. Now I feel really dumb. I only just now realized that this thread was started last year. I'm abviously very unobservant. I'm sorry. :)

I can open those links either. I'd love to see the one from last year.
