Just tried to upload an updated version of the quilt and apparently my server (which is located in Ohio) is down. Keep the pictures coming and I'll check it in the AM. :-)

Good morning everyone! What a great day indeed! Here's a picture I took this morning of my tree. The ornaments have been collected for over 25 years, and some I actually made :) I hope you all have a blessed day!!! Gretchen

Wow! Gretchen..what a collection..wonderful! I have a little tree with a ladder and elves climbing up.

Gourd..I have a little brass angel just like one of yours..my sister gave it to me many years ago, and it always comes out at Christmas with a new candle in it. I just gave her a good shining yesterday.

Happenstance..neat idea for the back of the quilt.

I'm enjoying seeing all the different ornaments and crafts.
Cheers,
Carol

Ok the camera isn't great, but this is my favorite ornament, a cloisonne santa, with his legs a bell clappers.

Starzz: Thank you -- its defintely a labor of love to put up and take down each year... The elves and ladder were a gift from my Grandmother 20-odd years ago :)

Gourd: Love the brass angels -- my Mother had a group of them when I was little. Dunno whatever happened to them, I guess one of my sisters ended up with them.

This is fun -- great work everyone!

Beautiful Christmas Trees!! I didn't put my big tree up this year due to having so many brug cuttings in the family room. I have a pencil tree in the livingroom, but the new kitten keeps removing the icicles and poinsettias from it. The skirt is never in place now either. This is a cool thread. I hope it gets bigger and bigger.

Okay, I just couldn't resist this one... Some of my Thanksgiving cactus are just beginning to bloom. I know, its a little late this year (for six plants, and my Christmas cactus has no buds:(

Wonderful ornaments and the memories that go with them, so fun to revisit them each holiday season. The server is back up and the quilt is growing.

Morning roshana - I think this will only be a virtual quilt from my point of view, much easier to hide my poor stitches and reposition pieces this way. :-)

Happenstance, I haven't the faintest idea of how you put this quilt together, but you did an outstanding job. Hope it keeps growing.

Beautiful angel Shirley. I miss my big tree. Always do it up in peach colored and burgundy colored poinsettias with fruit and other trimmings.

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

Brugie ,I have used that same color scheme also. My other favorite is all blue lights. This year is different, I just didn't feel like tinsel and yards of ribbon everywhere. Kinda like the simple look.

Beautiful ornaments and trees everyone! We still have a few open spots and unlike a real quilt, it is easy enough to add on to for any size required. :-)

The Grinch (too cute!) and our lucky little bugs have been added to our ever expanding quilt. Sorry to you dial-up users, I know this file is now HUGE, but it sure is pretty and worth the wait.

Anyone else need a little pick-me-up? Sugar and spice makes us all nice.

Yum - love those little gumdrop things. Your Bugs ornament is a winner, Lisa!

Okay, y'all, I have one more ornament and it has tremendous sentimental value. It's Emma's first puppy collar. It won't even fit over her head now, but it glitters prettily on the tree and makes us smile. :)
