Vote for the 2003 Photo Contest!

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Forgive me this stupid question:

Is it ok to vote with Yes for a special picture, which I very like? Or must I vote with no for all other pictures to make my Yes save...:-) ?

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Ludgar I think you just mark yes on the ones you want, the rest will automatically show up no.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Thank you mystic. Hopefully it will work:-)

Manhattan Beach, CA(Zone 11)

Ludger, I was wondering the same. Must be where we come from (~:

(((ULRICH)))

Quick answer: The "No" answers don't do anything at all. Only the Yeses count.

Is it too late to add that to the instructions for those who don't see this here?

done

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Thank´s:-)

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

Worked fine for me, voted in all categories. For the multiple, I just wrote down the categories in order on a sheet of paper so I knew which column was for what. That way don't have to do all the scrolling.
And the photos entered are fabulous, the only difficulty I had was picking - good thing there isn't a "select all" button.

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Ok I give up. Guess it wasn't meant for me to vote on this contest. The only one that would load the proper way was the Roses, So I voted on that one.
As for the other ones, I guess I'll just sit back and wait to see who wins.

OC, CA & Twin Lakes , IA(Zone 4b)

duh! Haighr!

Wish I had thought of that! Well I am not done yet so
will do it on the rest of the categories.

I am having just way too much fun viewing all the lovely pictures!

It's gonna take me a few days. I have only voted in two categories so far. Think I dawdle too much!

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

Not dawdling, just so much to look at!

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

~NONE of the pages are loading properly..So this means that I can not Vote =((
shirley :(

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

scooterbug, It is not working for a lot of us yet but I think Dave is still trying to figure out why. I uess we will have to be patient and see what happens. In the meantime, I can view the lovely entries even if I can't vote on them, and decide which ones to vote on once it is working.

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

What about just having a radio button beneath or next to each photo, and allowing only one button selected per column?

Yes, thanks Zany. Those of you who can't vote because of your browser - don't worry about it because I will be fixing this and the voting will not close until everyone has had a chance to vote!

;-D

Lenexa, KS(Zone 6a)

I voted in 2 cats....garden art and Misc. Just saw this thread and basically I did what haighr did on the mult categories. I also voted several times in some categories because I just couldn't decide and figure the most votes wins. FWIW...I use Netscape 7.02 and have had zero problems. I also have cable modem so very little wait time for the pages to load. Brenda (Dave-2 thumbs up here)

Well I tried again, soon as I opened the bees and butterfly cat it looked fine for a couple of seconds. Then it messed up again! I took a pic of it just to prove that I am not seeing things. Strange thing is though after I took these pics and scrolled back up it was blank! all the yes and nos where gone!!
Strange!!!!

You aren't seeing things girl, that's what happens for me too.

Southwestern, OH(Zone 6b)

Maybe it's AOL?

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Melissa, try connecting to AOL and then opening just plain old Internet Explorer. Don't even both with AOL's browser. See if it happens in IE, too.

Manhattan Beach, CA(Zone 11)

IE, Netscape, Schmetscape, all the same.
Let's be patient and give Dave a chance to fix it. After all, we've got all month.

N. Vernon, IN(Zone 6b)

Dave how do you enter photos I can't seem to find out Thanks

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

bopjg, I believe the entering of photos ended October 31 at midnight. Sorry if you missed it.

Okay, I have something for you to try. Go to the contest page, and click on the second voting link. It's a more simple layout that before, and might help.

(I tested it with my Internet Explorer, which had trouble with the original page, and this works on the new page now.)

Dave, sorry to say it still does not load the voting options correctly. But on the upside, the layout is much easier to navigate.

Zany, could you try one more time for me, please?

dave

I just updated it one more time. Please try again now - I bet it'll work.

(Make sure you click on the second link!)

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

Worked for me the first time, but so did the original version.

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

Dave, I think that did it! I just checked a couple of them but it looks like it is working :~)

Ellabell, GA(Zone 8a)

It works fine now. Thanks Dave.
Kris

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

I like that new streamlined version - works great!

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Votin votin votin!! YEAH!!!! Works wonderful now! Thanks Dave!

Allen Park, MI(Zone 6a)

I only get one link and no yes/no choice???????

Paul

That's right, Paul. Check the box for a yes, leave it unchecked for a no.

Manhattan Beach, CA(Zone 11)

The new option does not appear on mine.
Also, it still says yes and no.
What happens if somone checks 'Best Bird picture' where it shows a Butterfy?

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Hoping no one votes best bird when its best bee. Maybe no one will be that confused!

Manhattan Beach, CA(Zone 11)

Wanna bet?
