I am getting nervous about the variegated bishops weed now!I planted a 4" container this summer (and also gave to someone as a surprise swap!). It is not growing actively now, but I'm really gonna watch it this spring!

I love Bishops weed - I got a small start of it several years ago from my MIL in PA. It has spread, but that's what I wanted it to do, I think it is a wonderful plant to brighten up a shady area or in sun under my myrtle tree. It is so easy to pull up if it gets out of bounds, not like Ivy or vinca with those tough roots.

I've had Sweet Autumn Clematis for at least 7 years now and never saw a single seedling! In fact, I moved the big thing last year to a new spot and it didn't regrow at the old. I never cut back till early spring, so the seed pods stay or scatter at will...sorry, I love it!
