Everson, WA(Zone 8a)

Badseed, is there something I don't know....?

Crossville, TN

NoH20...Seed is just being her usual cute self...What she doesn't know is that I have managed to have 5...FIVE....ripe tomatoes on my tomato plant this year!! AND.... I have ONE Tithonia that lived!! OK....so I killed off all my Brugs...It could happen to anyone, right??

Now...about this dog.....LOL Jo

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

Roadrunners a gardener who plants many seeds
Of kindness and frienship without any weeds

And though she plants without using soil
over her friendship garden she'll toil

She carries it with her wherever she goes
And where she visits new frindship grows!

Everson, WA(Zone 8a)

Well, Zanymuse, she sounds like the best kind of gardener to me!

Mount Prospect, IL(Zone 5a)

Hey, Kiki, shouldn't that be Brunhilda? Ohh, maybe Broomhilda, that would sort of tie her to her new mother! hehehehehe

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Hmmm...my head's been a'thinkin'...

Small dog, long nose. I was talkin' to my other dog, Hazel (lab/dalmation mix), about this topic. We got to thinkin'...what with that long nose that your puppy will one day have, you should pick a celebrity! One that is happy-go-lucky! One that entertains! One that everyone likes (or liked). Yep, how about...how about...

Jimmy Durante (ahh cha cha!)...'ceptin', since this pup is a female, we can call her Jiminina! (pronounced Jim a neena!) That's the female version of Jimmy. Or maybe "Jimma", or "Neena".

Trust me, that dawg is gonna over-work that nose. And, like Jimmy Durante, smile the whole time!

Ahh Cha Cha!....

Mount Prospect, IL(Zone 5a)

Now Shoe, that is a good idea asking Hazel. So I decided to ask my german shepherd, Hosannah, what should a long sausage dog with a long nose be called? She thought a bit, nudged me to follow her and she led me to the refrigerator. Ask Hazel what this means?

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

HAH! I hear ya, doris!

Hazel says if someone says "sausage", then you always go to the kitchen. Once there, always stare at the big tall food box. The humans will then pick something off the "menu" for you if you stare long enuff.

Hmmm...sausage dog. That must surely mean the pup's name will be "Neese's", "Hormel" (or "Hormelina"), or "patty"!

Well...seems like some good ideas here...and some smart dogs!! As to the long nosed stars.....How about Barbara...for Mz Streisand??

My Spanish-speaking friend suggested Bonita...Pretty...or lovey.

OK.....still thinking. Jo

Silver Lake, OH(Zone 5b)

I thought of Barbara, too... does she sing? We had a dog that sang for treats... too funny.

You could call her Barbie (if you don't mind the doll connotation, which kind of fits because she is SUCH a little doll!)

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

Okay, how 'bout Brat, since she's a sausage dog. Or Weinerschnitzel and call her Snit.

Okay, I'm really reaching here.

Lake Toxaway, NC(Zone 7a)

Streisand spells her name Barbra

Jones Creek, TX(Zone 9a)

Oh I love Bonita, but does it fit.... does it fit her presona? You know the name gotta fit the dog....she is just to cute...... :o)
