LOL Root...when I saw Kannapolis, I got all excited and Jr. came to mind.

Hey Root....your pic is great. I assume that was supposed to be white? Have all the blooms on that plant been speckled? I think it's really cool.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Yes,just this plant, will save the pods for everyone,I want to see what it looks like early tomorrow.

Root, I love your speckled Dat. Would love to try some seeds. Hope you people have/had a good time at your get together. there has been a problem for me with my computer. Don't know whether it was the ISP or perhaps my tele. Tomorrow I am going to try to get to the bottom. Haven't really been able to use the computer for most of 2 weeks. Donna

*whispering* root? I would dearly love to have some seeds of the speckled one.

*Talking normally* Next year I am going to be in dat heaven here with all the seeds that I am collecting. DH smelled and saw his first dat tonight and told me he would help me plant and weed a whole area of them next year. The one we looked at is a plain white one but he got hooked. Now I can get some serious rototilling done around here. lol

I've read this entire thread so in addition to Brugs, I'm now Datura obsessed. LOL

Are there any Dats that are easier to grow than others? Which varieties are more fragrant? Are there any dwarf varieties?

Dayton, OH(Zone 5a)

Hmmmm.... Root, I think we might need a new thread, eh? I'm curious about delecie's questions, too. I've only grown the Black currant swirl with intent! I've another in the yard, but don't know what it is. I'll have to post a pix for identification.
