It's that time again - contests!

Nobody has asked for a rose contest.

Well then, is anyone else interested in having a rose contest?

Could the butterfly one be butterflies and moths, please?

Or just all insects??
Or a separate one for insects - we see so many interesting and lovely ones in the forums

Hey all you lucky rose growers, I didn't get a chance to take any fotos of my roses before the Japanese beetles ate them! :-(

Tc, the Japanese beetles are gone now in Nashville. They were worse this year that I can ever remember. You should be able to expect them to go away soon.

Dave where it says best butterfly picture can you add insect photos into there too ?

The BBB only has Best Butterfly under category and the BBBB have no categories. We have 2 to post butterflies in? I'm a bit confused now.......LOL

BBBB has been removed and BBB was edited to be BBBB (Now, that clears things up!! LOL)

how about:

Best close-up
Most unusual bug
Best Bird (or most colorful?)

just throwing some ideas out........

yes on lilies pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease! i've taken a few not to shabby shots. of course now i got to get out there and practice some more on the orientals that are just blooming.

Lilies yes, Daylilies NO. If I see one more daylily I'll scream!

But some consider a daylily to be a lily. The only one I have that isn't a daylilie is a startgazer...my daylilies out number them!

We can make a category in Lilies for "Best Daylily".

It seems that there is still only a Butterfly category within BBBB - so only one kind of B to enter, despite the name????

Do memebers only get one vote per catergory? otherwise what is to stop them voting over and over again for particular ones?

One vote per contest. Don't worry about cheaters - my system will prevent anyone from casting more than one vote.

philomel; I'm guessin that since the "Butterflies" is plural, it would appear to me to mean that it would include related insects, moths...etc.
