Hey TC, I work at Target on the over night stock team/flow team. I don't actually get the boxes off the truck but most of the time I do help send them down the line, pull them off and put them on the appropriate flat or skid. Then we have to push them all out, unload them and put the stuff away. :) I'll be slowing down on picking up big stuff (like furniture) soon. I have been working softlines since early this years. That is all the clothes, accessories and cosmetics. It's rough work and cruddy hours but it's pretty fun and the pay is not awful. LOL

Lani you have no idea how often some us get on to Chele about the heavy work she does. I have to keep my mouth shut now or she gets on to me for nagging!!! lol!!! It doesn't stop at Target either - I have never known anyone work quite so hard as she. Whether it be DIY in the house or digging in the garden like a navvie!! ...and there's her other pastime - having and rearing baby girls!!! :-)

A woman has to do what a woman has to do. Unless you are all gonna pay me to sit on my buns and get my weight up to say around 300 pounds, then I guess I'll continue to do paid work and the free slave labor at home too. ;O) I like my job. The hours stink and the pay could be better though. LOL

'Chele has had five kids already, and don't try the old nonsense like in the old American sit-coms, that when a woman is pregnant, the only thing she should do is sit down and wait to have a baby ... if that's the case, then Michele should not work anymore, she will not be allowed to look after her children, and she's really not allowed to stand up until her husband comes along and helps her onto her feet ... what a lot of nonsense !!!! ... If Chele thinks she is up to the job, then she does it ... sorry no "ifs" and "no buts"
Well done 'Chele!! btw, we have some great Gurkins here in Germany, s***!! I know them all ... and that was 14 years ago, and I still cringe when I walk past the rows with them all .. sort of .. standing there looking at me .. and saying .. 'Seed is just determined to catch up with me, and it's not fair because I have already removed the incubator at my house. But she handles it so well, and has so much energy, I shudder to think what she would be like if she didn't have the girls, the garden and the job.

Well Chele you have to remember that I am the one that is asking Target to give you more money. They need to pay you more so those kids can have a really fat college fund waiting for them as I know they are really smart girls!

You go girl! I worked until the week before my son was born (he was 3 weeks late they said), I couldn't just sit around! Love the pic of the pez dispenser GW, that is a hoot.

We're doing great ~ thanks for asking! :) We did some culling, got rid of the real mean ones, and still have thirteen. We may do some shopping around and get a few more. I'm really in love with these Longhorns.

Thanks, Wintermoor. :) It's good to be back! I don't know how much time I can spend online now. I've also inherited my two nephews, 11 and 16, so it won't be much 'til I get done teaching them to do dishes and laundry. *Sly grin* I'm working on those lessons hot and heavy, let me tell ya'. ;)

My mum would put the plates which had my last meal UNWASHED in front of me with my new food on it ... that cured me quick style ;-)

It took me a day or two to realise that my Dad's plate, and her's were clean ... what a lesson!! .. OH GREAT!! fish and chips for dinner ... then when I started, realised that there was a bit of the mince pie which I had had the day before stuck on the plate ... BLLACCHHH!!!

EWWWWWWROTFLOL! So far, they're doing good on the dishes, once a week each, but I'll keep that in mind. ;) Too bad that tack won't work with laundry ~ the eleven year old would just smile and say, "O-KAY! Does that include baths?" *Giggle ~ snort!*
