Well, run it by her anyway, maybe she won't catch onto the chronology. I would hate to waste a good story, and I did slave over a hot keyboard for that one.
What do you lose?
LOL Aimee! I will run it by her AFTER I find her pump or buy her a new one. I know if I DO buy her a new one that her old one will turn up. giggle Isn't that the way of life?????
Oh, sure, it's the other part of Murphy's law!
LOL ;>)
My cat always gets blamed for taking things and putting them in odd places ;D
Recently I put 2 sticks of butter on the counter to soften, as I planned to make cookies. Few hours later I went in the kitchen to start the cookies. No butter. Figured I must've forgotten to put it out, so put 2 more sticks out to soften. After supper decided better do the baking.
Got the bowls out, and reached for the butter, which was missing! This time I KNOW I put butter out! So I went looking for the dog (who always has an innocent face). Downstairs in the family room, there was the dog and the cats along with 4 licked clean butter wrappers! At least I knew I wasn't losing my sanity! (And you can't scold 3 pairs of innocent eyes looking at you so sweetly!)
Of all the things I have lost, I miss my mind the most!
Oh, dog and kitty lube! How funny!!
HEY! I found that pump today! It was under the flower pot that I told my DH to put in the potting shed. He cheated and put it in the bucket out in the shop that held the pump. I sure am glad that I didn't buy a new one yet. ;>)
djm, I would think your animals were a little under the weather for a day or so after their raid on your kitchen. LOL
GW and Pond, Oh yes, I like that, "lube job"! Didn't bother the cats too much, because the dog probably got the larger share! This has happened before, I'd put things out on the counter like cream cheese or lunch meat and get sidetracked and when I would go back in the kitchen, the counter was empty and I would dig in the refrigerator for something for lunch, completely forgetting I already put something out earlier!
Shoot, yesterday I went into the kitchen and saw the coffee pot was on, but there was no coffee in the pot or in the reservoir. I added water to the reservoir and left to do something else. When I got back in the kitchen, there was a very watered-down pot of coffee on the burner. Seems that when I noticed the empty pot on the hot burner, I'd forgotten that I'd already poured a fresh pot of coffee in the nearby carafe!
LOL! :D
