Jacksonville, IL(Zone 5a)

I tried earlier today with no luck. but when i tried at 10:30 cdt, I was able to get in. Personally, I like the central times! Thanks for getting this back up.

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

I can get here if I go to a google search and connect through a link there but not through my original favorites link. But I am here!

Biel, Switzerland(Zone 7a)

I finally got back on after 2 days!! Glad it is fixed again, thanks Dave.

(Zone 5b)

I haven't tried since Friday afternoon but I'm in now - thanks Dave - I sure missed you all!

Georgetown, TX(Zone 8a)

Judging by the limited number of posts, a lot of people still can't get here. Poor Flowox tried valiantly through most of the night, then gave up. She tried the Google trick, everything else she could think of, to no avail. I hope everyone gets back on soon, this is way too lonely for me.

Perrysburg, OH(Zone 5a)

I got back in once last night, then tried again and could not. This moring I clicked on my home page and couldn't get in again, I went into history and was able to get in that way. Things are sporadicaly moving slow on this end.

Olympia Washington checking in! Whew!!!!!! What a relief!!!!!! My thoughts have been with you, Dave, as I cannot even fathom what a crash like that must do to you .......... so thanks for all the effort!!!!!

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Howdy! 6:15 a.m. here in the great state of Peace of Mind! What a nice surprise! After reading the above posts I now know what was going on...I just knew you were pulling your hair out, dave!

Just checking the weather b4 I head to the Farmer's Market and lo and behold, the weather is fine at DG!

Will check back in this afternoon to catch up with everyone.
Cya!
Thanks dave!

Helsinki, Finland(Zone 4b)

Hey, DG is working again :)

south of Grand Rapid, MI(Zone 5a)

I' m not getting the daily updates - I suppose it is all connected. I can get on today thru the May 1 newsletter. Hope things get back to normal - I couldn't get a thing done yesterday - kept trying and trying.

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

i was typing a long reply on a forum thursday and when i went to send it, it wouldn't send. friday i was down all day and i'm back this morning. i knew that there had to be a major problem because dave and terrie are always on the ball. thanks for bringing us home safely dave.
debi z

Checking in but the last 14 hours haven't been a DG problem, it's been a no electricity problem LOL...More horrible storms and damage. God has blessed us with another day of safety but there are more storms forecast through the end of next week!

Barnesville, GA(Zone 8a)

Whew! Now I know what withdrawal is!
Hi everybody! Missed you!

Old Forge, PA, OH(Zone 6a)

Sweet Home DG! I was really starting to have withdrawls. I didn't try again until this morning, which it is now 8:15am on May 3, 2003.

Dave, Thanks for all the hard work you have done, and are continuing to do to make sure we all have a place to call home on the internet! You deserve a really BIG pat on the back!

Dave D.

What a relief! Dave, such a lot of work for you! Thank you so much.

DG went off for me at 7 AM MDT on May 1, and this is the first I've been able to get back in.

Lake Toxaway, NC(Zone 7a)

I'm back after 2 days. Odd thing though, I had replies to questions in threads from March.....

None of the threads in my Thread Watcher (all of which are old) can be accessed -- I click on them, and the pages simply won't load; just a white screen.

Sometimes, when a forum contents page loads, I can access threads within the forum, but they are huge and take up the entire page.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Yeeeesss!I'm finally back!Thanks Dave.

Northern Piedmont, NC(Zone 7b)

I'm back and it feels so good! Thanks Dave for all your hard work.

Lexington, NC(Zone 7a)

Hi Dave,
Got on last night, was IMing with DG folks and some hadn't made it so I copied your explanations and pasted it in the IM window. It made everyone understand musch better what was going on. As GW said, we all had withdrawl sysmtoms but if you did have hair I doubt if you do now. LOL
At least it lets you know how important DG is to all of us.

Sparks

Indeed - all these kind words sure do give me encouragement and motivation to keep DG running as best as I can. At times like these I feel grossly underqualified to be the webmaster here, but, hey, at least we're back up and running now!! Let's hope that there won't be any more big problems for a little while.

Dave

TUCSON, AZ(Zone 9a)

YO Dave, So good to have you back, thanks for all your hard work. i relly missed your page

Montezuma, NM(Zone 5b)

I thought I was gonna die (ala Rosanne Roseanna danna.) Guess I have an, albiet healthy, addiction to this site. I started looking around for other garden sites. Just wouldn't satisfy.

Dave, what is DNS cache, and why would it take til now for mine to come back up. Last time I checked was last night at 10pm. mountain time. We only have access through 54k modem where I live. Would that have anything to do with it?

Oh, life can go on.
Nice to see your friendly faces again! :^) Hi Hi!

Castelnau RB Pyrenée, France(Zone 8a)

Hi everyone - I've only just got back on. Very good to see you all again :)

Thanks for working so hard to get things working again Dave - what a headache!!
Or perhaps nightmare would be a better description!

Look forward to seeing you all around again anyway....

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Well, I still can't get on thru AOL or Internet Explyer but I did get on by clicking on the Forum Photo of the Day in the newsletter! LOL. Where there is a will there is a way. However it is taking too long to open threads so I guess I will go do my other favorite thing to do!.............PLANT SHOP!!!

Poor Dave, his weekend is shot I fear! I hope it goes more smoothly for you!

Temuco, Chile(Zone 9b)

It's sooooo good to be back!!!!! :o)

I thought I was going to go crazy being able to get on the internet but not into DG was earth shattering for me since I don't do much of anything else online.......LOL

Bowie, AZ(Zone 8B)

DG, glad to see you back!! Thanks, Dave, for your efforts for all of us. Much, much appreciated.
DG went down during last hour of chat here Thursday. And am just now getting first connection to DG. Also had other computer related problems, couldn't access internet for a few hours this morning.
Doing great now.....farizona

By the way, do we adjust the hours for chat to Central time?

Back on in the panhandle! I was afraid it was drastic since we were out of pocket so long. Can't live without you, Dave. Now, Trish, no need to get jealous. We love you both for providing such a wonderful place to share.

Plano, TX(Zone 8a)

Hey, Dave, how are YOU doing? You know, we're all concerned about you! This was quite a nightmare for you as it was for us, huh?
