I tried earlier today with no luck. but when i tried at 10:30 cdt, I was able to get in. Personally, I like the central times! Thanks for getting this back up.

I can get here if I go to a google search and connect through a link there but not through my original favorites link. But I am here!

I finally got back on after 2 days!! Glad it is fixed again,thanks Dave.

I haven't tried since Friday afternoon but I'm in now - thanks Dave - I sure missed you all!

Judging by the limited number of posts, a lot of people still can't get here. Poor Flowox tried valiantly through most of the night, then gave up. She tried the Google trick, everything else she could think of, to no avail. I hope everyone gets back on soon, this is way too lonely for me.

I got back in once last night, then tried again and could not. This moring I clicked on my home page and couldn't get in again, I went into history and was able to get in that way. Things are sporadicaly moving slow on this end.

OOOOOOOOH!!!!! I was gone all day yesterday - just slightly panicked, but I survived LOL! Cleaned my 'puter up to be sure it wasn't here - that was a radical step!

I' m not getting the daily updates - I suppose it is all connected. I can get on today thru the May 1 newsletter. Hope things get back to normal - I couldn't get a thing done yesterday - kept trying and trying.

i was typing a long reply on a forum thursday and when i went to send it, it wouldn't send. friday i was down all day and i'm back this morning. i knew that there had to be a major problem because dave and terrie are always on the ball. thanks for bringing us home safely dave.

Checking in but the last 14 hours haven't been a DG problem, it's been a no electricity problem LOL...More horrible storms and damage. God has blessed us with another day of safety but there are more storms forecast through the end of next week!

Whew! Now I know what withdrawal is!

DG went off for me at 7 AM MDT on May 1, and this is the first I've been able to get back in.

I'm back after 2 days. Odd thing though, I had replies to questions in threads from March.....

None of the threads in my Thread Watcher (all of which are old) can be accessed -- I click on them, and the pages simply won't load; just a white screen.

Sometimes, when a forum contents page loads, I can access threads within the forum, but they are huge and take up the entire page.

Hi Dave,
Got on last night, was IMing with DG folks and some hadn't made it so I copied your explanations and pasted it in the IM window. It made everyone understand musch better what was going on. As GW said, we all had withdrawl sysmtoms but if you did have hair I doubt if you do now. LOL
At least it lets you know how important DG is to all of us.

Indeed - all these kind words sure do give me encouragement and motivation to keep DG running as best as I can. At times like these I feel grossly underqualified to be the webmaster here, but, hey, at least we're back up and running now!! Let's hope that there won't be any more big problems for a little while.

Dave, what is DNS cache, and why would it take til now for mine to come back up. Last time I checked was last night at 10pm. mountain time. We only have access through 54k modem where I live. Would that have anything to do with it?

Well, I still can't get on thru AOL or Internet Explyer but I did get on by clicking on the Forum Photo of the Day in the newsletter! LOL. Where there is a will there is a way. However it is taking too long to open threads so I guess I will go do my other favorite thing to do!.............PLANT SHOP!!!

I have just been able to get in through the newsletter for May 1st, haven't gotten one for two days, gee, I was having severe withdrawal problems. I knew there must have been a serious problem, but you guys are such computer wizards it wouldn't be too long.
