It seems to me that my puter must load all it new..as more I click in DG´s as faster it becomes again.

Dave, there are a few posts missing from early yesterday morning, ( I know that someone answered one I posted) but we are thrilled to be back:)

Here! Glad your back! I missed Dave's yestereday!

I had to restore from backup, and this is why all the posts since May 1st at midnight at gone. Basically everything from after midnight May 1st are disappeared.

You might also notice the times are now in Central time zone. That's because the server is in Texas. We had a severe server crash in Tennessee and I had to execute my disaster recovery plan.

We're somewhat back up and running, but there is still a lot of work to do. The PDB is currently offline, due to its bandwidth consumption. My server here in Texas just doesn't have much bandwidth.

LOL! that explains why everyone was posting at 9:30 and I couldn't get in until 10:30. will have to retrain my brain.

I'm guessing no one has been able to post anything for the last hour?

tiG, I'm wondering the same thing! I was able to post ... and so have you ... but no one else??? That's so strange. Well, I guess Dave's still working on things as he mentioned earlier. We'll have to be patient.

Edit: I just heard from others via email, that they can't even log on at all.

Yes, the majority of the members do not yet have access. Their ISP must reupdate their DNS cache (this sometimes takes up to a full day) and there is nothing that can be done to expedite the process.

Little by little, more and more members will be finding their way back.

I still can't get on by the url, I cheated and got through by doing a search on dogpile, then came in through a gardenwife's link, then had to log in to get to my home page, things look weird, some things are slow, blacked out areas, etc. I was having dg withdrawals!! but I had faith that you would get us back up again. thanks Dave!!

I just got on, I could not get yesterday or this morning, and I noticed a lot of older threads appear to be update, maybe some of them, I had missed so I will go back and look at them.

Looks like none of them are new and the plant database is completely down for me. I can go to the plant database forum only, but not the actually database. I hope this information helps you repair it.

I'm here. It just came on around 2:30 pst. I've been checking it every few hours and was so surprised when it worked. yea!!!!

I was gone for 2 days before this happened, so when I came to DG it wasn't here, so that means it's been 4 days without DG for me....can we all say Hallejua!!!

Yay!!!!! I was just able to log back on!!!!!! I too got lots of frantic e-mails about 'what happened?????' So glad you got it fixed (at least enough for now!!!! ) Thanks Dave :)

Even my emails to members were returned, so I decided I was being kicked out of the whole web. I finally typed in the URL, after a whole day of not connecting, as my dropdown wouldn't get me here.

I think it's a sneaky plot to force me to spend more time and money on eBay. Ha! Didn't work, I folded laundry and cleaned out a closet instead. But now I owe me some DG time.

Two days seemed like a looooooooong time.

Sorry i missed any problems. Been working past 3 days. Everything works fine from here. I'm on 56K modem.

I was able to get on at about 11:00 this morn. Was kinda lost without you all. Glad were up and running somewhat.

Oh thank goodness, I just got back on.

Waving hands -- Here we are! Wasn't able to get in at 8pm, but got on first try just now. Bless your heart, Dave, anything we've been going through missing DG has to pale in comparison to what you've had to do to get DG back for us all. Thank you!

I was able to get back on about 5:30 Arizona time....which is the same as Pacific Time right now...and BOY! Does it feel good to be back home!!! Jo
