I'm sorry all ~ I wish I could have been with you right now! Lupy, I have your addy & looked it up on Anywho & Yahoo! people search. I couldn't find your phone number. I also checked our DG address list, but we don't have phone numbers in there.

I'm sure you're all having FUN! It's beautiful & DH is just plum tuckered out & stuffy ~ needs a little TLC, I think.

I'm still pondering tomorrow & the other show at Coney Isle. Would have to bring along DS who can be more than a pickle especially at an event like that!

Lotusblossom, you're brave to share your story! I'm so glad everything worked out in the end. I've put my DH through some hoops & challenges during our marriage! LOL... It does test your patience & love, that's for sure :) I don't just lose keys, though... Sometimes my driver's license or credit card ~ then I really panic!

Morph, we missed you something aweful!! I wish you could have come.

Lupy, thanks for everything!!! I just dug some holes and put the gooseberry and currant in the yard. I'm beat now so won't do the other stuff tomorrow but made sure it had water until I get to it. I'm so tired, I'm going to fall asleep on the couch probably, if I ever get my butt over there to lay down.........LOL. I'm so glad to have met you and I'll be back really soon. Oh, by the way, of all the things, I left my scented geranium out front. Can you baby it for me until I get back? Thanks :o)

When I got home the only thing I could do was try to plant the onions and garlic that lupy gave me but didn't get all of it done, I was beat.

As always I wish that we had more time together to just sit and chat but you know how it goes.....time flies when your having fun.

well next time we'll just hang out rather than go shopping for plants :o)

Man, we just got home...What a long day! We stopped at home long enough to make up a veggie tray and let the dogs out for a while, then we headed over to our friends' house to hang out for the evening. Whew!

I have called you to no avail, so you will not be the first to know that I am vindicated. I will post it here for the others to see (and, yes, I DO forgive you and Howard for the remark you posted about the keys).

When we got back from church today there was a mesage on the answering machine from Lancaster Nursery. The keys were found on the floor behind the counter. I KNEW I didn't lose them. The gal DID indeed move them when she packed my plants into the other customer's boxes.

Maybe GW will go with me to retrieve the keys and take pictures?!?!?!?!?!?!LOL.

Hope to see all of you soon. Wind, if I had taken that bad picture of you, I wouldn't even hesitate to post it..teehee!!!

I zonked out about 10 minutes after I talked with you last night, Windd. Way too tired to even think about getting on the computer last night.

And of course, guess who called me this morning? Guess where she was???? Guess who went to plant-shopping AGAIN today???? LOL boy did I get a couple neat plants :)

Flo, I found the geranium this morning! It will get some very special treatment until you come back to pick it up. When????

May 5-6: Franklin Park Conservatory Plant Sale. Tracy diSabato-Aust is the speaker.

May 5-6: Inniswood Metro Park Volunteer Plant Sale. Wow!!!! Columbus Hosta Society and the Central Ohio Herb Society will also be part of this one.

May 9-10 Ohio State University Chadwick Arboretum Plant Sale. Also included are many groups that call OSU home, including College of Hort programs that raise plants as part of their course-work. You have to see this one to believe it!!!!!

May 10: Gardens at Gantz Volunteer Herb Sale. Yours truly will be working at this one most of the day, but would adore seeing any/all who want to come. More than 250 varieties of herbs and perennials for sale. This year for the first time, the City of Grove City Department of Urban Forestry is having its spring tree and shrub sale in conjunction with our Plant Sale. Buy a pagoda tree and a rosemary at the same place!

Whew! I do love spring :)

So glad to hear that you all had such a wonderful time! Wish I could have been there too.
My DD's shower went great today and am I glad it's over! So keep me posted the next time there will be a get together in Ohio.

Celia, it will be so wonderful to see you again! I am glad DD's shower went well, when is the wedding? We will be sure to not gather around that time, we want to see you again!

Esther is coming up mid-May, the 16 or 17 I believe. Of course Windd lives here in Columbus too, so just gotta tempt the others into coming back then... and maybe even get that Badseed up here!

Mid-May sounds good to me! The wedding is June 7th.

Not sure when I'll make it but I'll try to make it for sure when Esther is coming as I want to meet her too. I got so dehydrated yesterday walking around the nurseries.......it didn't really hit me hard until I got home. I knew there was something wrong as I told Lupy that I'm not able to think straight and not to mind me if I start to act a bit out of it. Now I know why. I've been trying all day to get enough fluid into my system but am still pretty exhausted. Of course it didn't help that I had to hurry up and get all of my ribes into the ground that Lupy was so generous and gave me. THANKS BUNCHES FOR THOSE!!!!!!!!
Had to run to the store and get a few more pots and some potting soil for the rest of the stuff. I'm beat and will head to bed for night :o)

Flo, that is so beautiful! I am so sorry you got dehydrated! I didn't even think about my fluid intake either, and I normally am so good about it. I drank about a half gallon of water when I got back. And I didn't even offer you a drink before your long drive back.

OK, I will start a new thread about the Ohio invasion as soon as I hear from Esther what date she is coming back. I don't know of any special nursery or park specials that day, but that will give us all a chance to talk with each other! And to trade more plants ;D Yep, got a big bunch AGAIN. More sun-lovers that I had to divide again, no room at the inn for them. Potting them up now.

We DID miss that big plant sale at Dawes Arboretum, Lupy. Shoot!

I was so tired when I got home the only thing I could was jump into a hot tub of water to soak me old bones for a while but I ended up back in the garden.
