Flexi-Hose?

Troy, VA(Zone 7a)

I tell you another one and that I use all the time!! When planting new trees OK!! Fixing the supports/wind braces!! I cut the hose up into about 8in lengths, thread strong wire through, put the hose end around the tree and then tie the wire to the brace/pole!! That way, the tree is never bitten into by the tie that binds!! Oh and another one - laying it down on grass to shape new beds!!

I think we should send them our ideas along so that they could include them in their advert.

Or maybe these tips should have been posted in the appropriate forum :-)

Hi, I'm new to Dave's Garden. I contacted Morton's greenhouses and they have flat hose. Unfortunately it is 1 1/2 in wide minimum and that would not work on municipal water pressure. He did say it was great, strong....etc. His wife ordered the flat hose on TV and I'm calling back to see if they like it in a few weeks.

Two points, the hose can't work on the reel because it expands when the water goes through it- duh!!!. I called the info numbers on the net and they say there are fittings to connect the hoses. There is one sight, As Seen ON TV that has 50 feet for 29.99. I live on an acre and I need 150 ft to make it to some places in my yard that I want to water.

Thanks for the info that it's at Sam's club.

I just called Sam's Club in Seattle and they don't have it.

Which Sam's clubs have you seen the hose at?

Thanks
