Afternoon all,
Perfect weather for me and the black flies, got 3 hrs of raking in and now I have my shoulder harness on in hopes it helps. Finally i can see light at end of the tunnel.

Lindakay, paying special attention to a Todd’s rose bush, when i did work on the pond I gave it a good drink, that and nice weather i see sets of leaves so hurrah, now I will wait for roses 😜

Did you hear that Canada Post is in mega trouble, one option is to close it.. they have enough$$ to keep it going this year but doesn’t sound too promising.

When I went to chiropractor this morning dropped into food basics, they had nice looking planters $10.99 each do bought 4, if i go to town over weekend i will pick up a few more. I still have all the plants i started from seed ready to plant as well as 40 of the 45 I bought from a friend.

Glad to hear that Sharon is well enough to go to Westminster. I'm sure she would have been sad to miss it. I'm assuming she has a dog being shown. With a mask, and being outside, she should be good.

Here's my new hair colour - looks more like pinkish-burgundy than a true pink, but still....... it's colourful lol More so than my faded brown & grey. Grey is pretty resilient to this type of semi-permanent dye, so I really had to do it twice to get all-over colour and even so, it didn't get everything.
Today I went to the courthouse in Red Deer to apply for a restraining order. I was there for over 3 hours, mostly waiting in line, but also hand printing the long request form. Dianne will serve him the papers, and the court date is Friday May 31st at 10am. I'll have to get the videos I took, in triplicate, to take to court. Somehow some have disappeared from my computer, but the RCMP have everything, so I hope to get the videos from them.
Tomorrow I go camping. I'll come home for a bit between coffeetime & leaving for the campground. My daughter, Michelle, wants me to call when I'm home tomorrow after coffee. Something to do with Mother's Day.
You likely won't hear from me until I return on Monday.

I had 2 of the 6 cement stairs done so John did balance, he put the little bench together that I wanted to set in front under tree and set flowers on it

Took battery out of my generator and ordered one on Amazon.

Cleaned my back porch and changed furniture around.

They wouldn’t let me do anything else so I made him a cocoa nut cream,pie as a thank you.

They were just ready to leave when Melanie pulled in with Grayson who was ever so proud to give me a bouquet of flowers for Mothers Day, when leaving she said Grayson go give grandma a kiss and a huge fire we go, off he goes to Darlene and gives her the biggest kiss and hug, he has never seen Darlene before ..too cute

Hoping it doesn’t rain tomorrow as I’d love to do back bedroom deck cleaned up, furniture washed etc

Dianne, not sure if you saw the northern lights last night, they sure put on a show, something we never see. Will have to post photos, something one has to travel to see and wow, here it was in our backyard.

We couldn't see northern lights from Amarillo. But I love all the photos people are posting on Facebook. We had a thunderstorm go through about an hour ago. Just a small one. Not much rain.

Cancelled the kids, laying down for a bit, how i love my Mr Froggie. Almost wore this one out, thinking the one i made in pinks yet to fill with steel oats will be for me.

Cancelled the kids then went out and hung the painted butterfly window in the frame, the stained glass window along the dining area fencing, took covering off the some garden art

Greg just dropped in for a visit, once he leaves i am off for hot at had bed. Would have gone and sat outside but wind is up. Brrrr

Oh Betty to quote my sweet dad 'this getting old is for the birds'.

Spent 4 hours at Hotel Dieu on Thursday to get all the ocular tests needed for my appointment with the specialist on Mon. Over 2 of those hours was spent waiting. Glad I charged up and took my Kindle.

I've done zero work outside. Kieran will be down to lend a hand this week getting the yard tidied up and the wood I split stacked.

What a treat the northern lights were last night. Everywhere I went this morning people were talking about it.

I've been quiet the last while. Last Monday it was 12 years since Warren transitioned. The 14th is his birthday. I'll go buy a small cake at Foodland and share with some neighbours. Warren made me promise I would buy in his memory a birthday cake every year. His family never celebrated birthdays - well actually everything. His mother told me I was the first person to buy her a birthday cake. My family was the complete opposite - they celebrated everything.

Hope everyone was a great Mother's Day.

I got back last night, we had a great time. NOW to try to catch up on everything. Marie had her grandson mow the yard yesterday so I did not have to do that! It was 60 out but the outdoor pool was heated. I used the pool, hot tub, played board games and visited with my sons & family, & sewed IE, a perfect week! The six hour drive was not fun.

Lindakay, no, boys today, Jeff is in Aruba and already called, he will come up in a few weeks to get the cement trio bubbler going, Greg setting up histrailer for the season , already got flowers from he and Mel, might try and drop 8n if he gets the building of his 10x24 but just incase dropped in yesterday. My mothers Day ‘to do ‘ list was done 2 weeks ago when they came and spent 9 1/2 hrs in the rain putting up my metal gazebo, I’m thrilled with that.

Had hoped to to go see moms but don’t think I could drive with my shoulder, feel bad but I did e transfer funds to her neighbour/friend , should be enough to get her lunch and bingo, know she enjoys bingo and who knows she might win lol

Having a coffee Ziggy beside me but soon I will take a walk through the gardens and see where i can put all those plants in the ground.

Mary Bell dropped in with many yards of flannel and also stuffing for the kids, she and her husband will come one day this week for a visit.

Lizzie went into labor about 2 this afternoon. No puppies yet. Looks like it will be a long night here.

Looked like rain here but sun is out, i couldn’t resist doing more of the edging of the 19 (18”x18”) cement blocks, have 6 left to do, maybe not today though, am shaking my head, what would ever possess me to think years ago that the checkerboard look would be pretty. Grrrr

Hope all is okay with Lizzie. What does the vet say. This is a long time to be in labor. Is there a chance a puppy is stuck? Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly.

Camping trip was great - getting to know the other campers, as this is my 2nd year with them, but only the beginning. Here are pictures of my tent, inside & out, and a bit of the campground.
I joined a group of women that go Crown Land camping - no power or water, bring your own everything. Should be interesting :)

Checking i on Lizzie, you will all have to be on shifts for sleeping. Is this the 1st litter you are overseeing Lindakay.

Holy wah Susan, all the comforts of home, you could spend weeks camping in that tent. Crown Land camping is a lot of 7n according to a Jeff but then he has all the bells and whistles, solar battery chargers etc. when do you plan that trip? Will it be gar from home?

I'm looking forward to joining the ladies (Dames with Dogs - but I don't have to have a dog to join, just be comfortable around them) camping in the rough. I may look into a generator, but we'll see. Maybe just non-perishable foods & warm clothing lol
I just purchased a year's permit for Crown Land camping - only $41 and I can camp anywhere. Cheap at the cost.

btw - I heard from the RCMP this weekend - Bob was charged with trespassing on my property, $600. On Friday May 31st at 10am there is a trial, with me applying for a restraining order, before a judge. Dianne said she'll serve him with the papers to appear in court.
As for the divorce, a different judge looked at it, and said that the "Property isn't properly addressed". I've put in to a law firm to get a pro bono assistance with this. Hope they can help me, because I've been trying since October to get this divorce put through.......

I saw on Facebook that Linda's dog has had her puppies. I'll let her post the rest of the info.

Somewhere in the move we have lost a huge amount of our shelf pegs to put up the bookshelves. Unfortunately, they are a different size that readily available. What a pain!

Marie went to buy paint for the new building and Home Depot did not seal the paint lids and she spilled a WHOLE GALLON of white paint in the interior of her van. We cleaned as fast as possible, but the weather was not cooperating since it was 90 F and everywhere the paint touched dried instantly. Home Depot is NOT being cooperative in taking responsibility for the damage. They want to replace the gallon of paint and call it good!

When reading your post Susan it made me ill, does that mean Bob can still get 1/2 as you were married? All of this must be overwhelming, glad you can get away from it all by camping out. You sure have had a lot on your plate, prayers and hugs.

Ohhh nooo Pat, not sure what I would have done, likely gone to a vehicle detailer and see what they could do with their chemicals, she must be so upset. I wouldn’t think she would get anything more than a gallon of paint, just not right.

Everyday brings on new problems and as we age more overwhelming.

I read Lindakay’s post, she had no rest for a few days so hope she is napping.

I spent about 3 hrs working in gardens, got to say things seem to be happening in slow motion, the more I work the more I see has to be done.

Betty - thanks for the prayers & hugs. I think it was just the judge dotting i's & crossing t's for the property. Yes, this is stressful, but hopefully on the 31st things will be sorted out. Right now, I'm tired of all this waiting............

Sorry, I thought I posted puppy photos. They were born yesterday afternoon between 4 an 7. She had 5 1 girl and 4 boys. The little girl didn't make it. She was the runt.

Lizzie is an awesome mom. She doesn't want to leave them to eat or go outside to go potty. We have to hold the puppies for a few minutes,
so she will go outside.
We are doing good.
