+*/seYep, listening to you ladies describe your shoulder pain makes me appreciate that although I have some shoulder pain, it's NOTHING like what all you have & are, going thru!
We look at houses again tomorrow. Still working on mine....

Early morning hi

Been raining heavily since last night, i will soon be on sump pump duty as they are calling for same for most of the week.

Hoping you made it to your sister’s without mishap. Am sure you offer her much comfort. Good Lord must be giving you mega strength to be able see how much she is pain.

Teacup, you are indeed blessed having found a great surgeon and coming out of the
Surgery..i suppose many aren’t as committed to the therapy and you must be.
I did my exercises yesterday and can feel it but will continue.

Been awake since 3:00am, listening to the rain and thinking about this being pie day. Greg and Mel are having Thanksgiving Dinner tomorrow so seeing I cannot sleep will get at the pies.

I got to my sister's home about 8:30 last night. She was ready for bed, but stayed up waiting for me. I have her hugs, and told her I would be here in the morning to talk. . The fentanyl patches keep increasing, as well as the morphine. She stays pretty loopy, but tries to talk. Sometimes you can figure out what she is trying to say.
When I had my frozen shoulder, it took a good 6 months for that pain to go away. I don't wish that pain on anyone.

how very touching Lindakay that she tried so hard to stay up for your visit..i am sure your being there offers her so much comfort, God bless you both.

No sooner did i post this morning that it was raining did the sun come out, getting overcast again but that is ok.

Only need to make mixture for 2 lemon meringue, 1 chocolate, 1 cocoanut cream mix and all my pies are done..dozen it is..tempted to cut through one for afternoon treat.

Lordy no, I am not up to a frozen shoulder so I will keep doing what I am doing, just get smarter with what I am doing.

When in town this morning bought 5 cases of pop, we’re on sale and with Halloween just around the corner thought i should buy them now, was tempted to carry them downstairs then thought Mason and Evan are coming tomorrow morning for sewing and they can bring them 8n for me… see I am learning!

Just loaded the “”winter” panel fir the exchangeable pillow fronts but with being up so early I feel like a nap.

I had a good day. My daughter, granddaughter and great grandchildren left for Phoenix around noon. They have been here for 2 weeks. Such a delightful visit. Eloise is now 3 and George will be 2 in December. New baby brother is due on George's birthday. Daughter just drove down with them and will fly back tomorrow. They came over right before they left to say goodbye. My daughter Tracy is 62 and said two weeks with two babies is exhausting. But her daughter still works for Adobe on line since Covid.

Betty I am wishing you, Susan and Dianne an Happy Thanksgiving. Save me some pumpkin pie. I like it the next day with a hot cup of tea.

Linda, I am so pleased you are their with your sister. I have been driving Betty crazy sending her Instagram on sewing and such.

Linda, I am sure that your sister feels your love & support. That is about all you can offer right now.

Sharon, 2 little kids for 2 weeks... YIKES! I am sure she enjoyed them so much though.

Teacup, you were lucky! But you also did the work necessary. It takes time, commitment on your part as well.

Betty & the rest of the Canuk friends, happy Thanksgiving to you! Stay committed to finding ways to save yourself from over doing. I know that those kids will feel blessed to have been able to help you.

We looked at 2 more houses yesterday and we keep on packing & decluttering. I have also been trying to get my oldest son's house cleaned, repaired and back on the rental market. I have a contractor hired, when the painting & new laminate flooring is installed, I will have the cleaners come.

Rained in a little today then the sun came out. i watched a group of volunteers put up tall posts painted white and set flags of family soldiers who passed in the war, so beautiful..will take photo’s tomorrow.

Thank you for well wishes, leaving at 4 for Greg’s, tax of a mix up, i was going to cook thanksgiving dinner tomorrow but he came up with Braedon to have eats at Greg’s so I will not have to cook Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow..miss the days when i cooked for all and made food for double those in attendance.

Are these homes Pat getting closer to what you and Marie are looking for? You were concerned Re Marie’s memory, is she getting better? Oh wow, taking on yet another big project..

Sharon, I have enjoyed the sewing posts, as it’s happened I got quite a bit of into from it. That is a long visit with children so young, I am sure your daughter is enjoying a rest day.

How are things going today for your sister Lindakay, hugs prayers.

Sharon just picking me up for Greg’s, gab later

Great eats, cool in the hall they booked
Just got home, nice hot bath, pain pad on, meds taken and in bed

Will open an info sheet and make a schedule for my Thanksgiving meal tomorrow

My church is doing a ham dinner on Sunday, after church, for those who won't have a Thanksgiving dinner, from 1pm onwards.
The Blanket Exercise was great. I found out that they are doing a turkey dinner - free for anyone.on Monday, so asked if I could join them. It may be too late to ask, but I did ask.
This year, it's the "anniversary" of Georgia Susan's passing and it also would have been my 25th anniversay. I'll join with others as much as possible. Don't feel like being alone.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Kathy is sleeping most of the day. She eats very little. All of her pain meds were making her nauseous yesterday, so they gave her more zophran. It helped a little. When she is awake, she is very confused.
Glad you had time with the family yesterday Betty.
Susan, glad to hear you are keeping busy. Never easy to go through those anniversaries by yourself.
Pat, hope you find a home soon.

(Pat) Kennewick, WA(Zone 5b)

Betty, as nice as it is to have everyone at your house, I think away with someone else doing it also sounds good!

I am glad that the zophran was helping your sister Linda.

Susan, It's great that you have people and activities that you can enjoy & engage in.

Yes, I wish Dana's whole rental stuff was NOT happening now, but it is what it is.

Gabe & I spent 4 hours Saturday working on a lot of miscellaneous stuff. It looks like I have to replace the whole overhead fan in my dining room.. I can't find the hardware that matches the arms that connect to the fan blade.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Morning, still raining, high wind warning alert is on..

Heart breaks for you Lindakay watching such a difficult time with your sister, it’s hard to believe what humans can end our to stay with their families.

Susan, it is good you keep busy, know Susan’s loss was a great loss to you then add the 25th anniversary it’s overwhelming. It’s great that you have the courage to get yourself out there, helps you heal and meet new friends.

Yes Pat, you would think I would have been satisfied going to Greg’s camp site for Thanksgiving but I wasn’t..did mine yesterday, loads of food and pies left, won’t be cooking supper tonight for sure but on this cold day I was thinking of making a soup, will do.

Who is Gabe Pat? Dana and the other children sure are lucky to have you in their lives..as for the fan, luckily you can get overhead fans reasonably and with remote control and isn’t a big electrical fix..electricity is the only thing I will not touch.

I’ve been looking at airlines for flights, think I am going to go to Myrtle Beach for a few weeks at Christmas!

Ziggy is laying beside me as I type, not an outdoor kind of day even for a cat.

Kind of a day you should get a book/unfinished project out and just relax. Was my full intention but then decided fall decor must go..4 totes packed up about another 2 ready to fill then out comes Halloween, perhaps not all today but as I use wheel barrel to carry one tote to back shed a halloween one comes in.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Saw this advertised in my area, thought of you Pat..

Haven’t stopped, back says time to rest or at least take a break.

The Mayor’s wife messaged me earlier, says a local cottagers has fabric and sewing supplies she wanted to donate, Mary asked if she could give her my number…of course. The lady called me, is starting to purge and will drop off first bunch of fabric tomorrow afternoon.

Your day sounds both productive and creative! It's wonderful to make the most of this perfect weather. Baking a lemon meringue pie and working on plaster of Paris projects is quite the mix. Don't forget to jot down your concerns for the doctor's call at 6:15. Wishing you a lovely day of productivity and play!

The main contrast in the colder time of year is I have the intensity on 80 and furthermore have an electric cover turned on my ally of the bed. I generally tell everybody I know, in the event that I am in the emergency clinic, rent ensure I have an adequate number of covers and they can cover
