We have the clothes kits bagged up except for a few more fabric bags to make. Each 18 inch doll will take at least 2 hours to brush out hair, wash it, "boil" it and then roll it for curls. Then in a few days, unwind curls and style, I can only do a few per day because I only have so many curlers and time. SLOW process but I'll get better/faster I'm sure.

A truly rotten week at work. I have several fraud cases to report, overpays to process and in general my faith in the public just took a major hit. Hopefully by Tuesday, with enough sleep, my normal optimism will have returned.

Betty, what time are we meeting in the morning?

After 12 hrs straight shopping I is tired..waiting for pizza and wings then hopefully I will have a good nights sleep.

Snowing a bit

Sure hope our Betty misses this storm. It is terrible here. Snowing, strong winds and there seems to be some ice in the snow. Debbie is probably getting the same storm. Safe travels everyone.

It is a wintery mix up that way. Most of the trouble is the wind blowing. Rain is mixing with snow/ice crystals this last hour.

Had a great breakfast with Betty & the girls. DH ended up coming with me because I honestly have scared the bajeebeez out of him with dizzies and such. SO with weather he thought best to accompany.

The girls were doing a few stops and thinking of heading to the border a bit early because of the weather....hoping they would be kind crossing the border early within the "spending budget" hours allotted.

Dianne I know the TH is enjoying the snow....but you stay safe!!!

I really enjoy it Pat. We have done it for a few years (at least 7 or 8 now) and even did a road trip together I will never forget.

Waving to all, just got in, yep Dianne hit the snow storm, glad that I did all the driving there and all weekend so my tour of duty ended just as the snow started lol

Debbie we ended up crossing at 5:00pm, yep gals did more shopping, could squeeze anymore in the vehicle..did a tally,between 4 of us we spend $$3,700 so we helped your economy my American friends..

2 of my 3 stepdaughters just left, still have the grandson until grandpa takes him to other grandparents down the road 70 miles.

tomorrow I hope to make it to the post office with packages to mail and see my Sis & Dad. Hopefully go back to work on Tuesday rested with better attitude.
