3/14: Release today + bug reports here

Charleston, SC(Zone 9a)

DonnaMack,

You are very welcome. Glad the info was helpful. There is probably 1 other thing I should clarify/stress. For a site like DG, FB, Instagram, or any other site with numerous members each of whom may post photos, there is no harm in contacting the individual 1st, the one who posted your photo on the site; however, if your photo isn't removed promptly, your main emphasis should be on contacting the website admin or owners. Provide them with a link to the photo as it appears on their site and the username of the person who posted it (if known). This is the level at which you will get results.

There are some sleazy websites being run out of countries where they probably don't care about US law or even international law and won't give you the time of day. Thankfully, I've not run across any of those websites, as I don't 'travel' in such circles. All legitimate websites run by people from the US or from any of our allies should take your photo(s) down from their sites immediately upon request. Oh, and your email to them should be assertive but polite. As I said, this has worked for me 100%. Best of luck with this.

Are we still supposed to alert Admin on bugs we find? Not sure where I should mention this.

I have been searching for a very old thread of mine. I could not find it doing an advanced search using words I had used in the thread. So I decided to look thru my old threads now on the TROPICALS & TENDER PERENNIALS Forum.

I wanted to limit the threads that showed up to just those I had on the TROPICALS & TENDER PERENNIALS Forum.

So I clicked on TROPICALS & TENDER PERENNIALS in the side menu to limit the search and it showed up in the box. I then hit submit. Up comes my thread list with the box now blank and all my threads show up not just the requested ones from the TROPICALS & TENDER PERENNIALS Forum.

Kell,

Sadly, it has been like that for a long time, since around the time this new group shoe-horned DG to fit into their existing system format. I submitted that same bug ages ago but got no response. For those of us who have been here many years and created lots of threads, that is a much needed feature without which we are forced to sift through page upon page of threads to find anything.

I would be happy if they just got rid of that obnoxious tab over on the right that says "back to top" and give us back the "click here to go back to home". I HATE it, and I cannot be the only one.

And when you first come to the home page and see your "watched" threads, click on one of them to read, it USED to take you to the first unread message. Now we have to go to the beginning, and then click to "first unread". It cannot be THAT difficult to give us back that.............I mean, at the "other place" it is like that and I would assume the "programming" is a whole lot more "modern" than it is here. And what I HAVE heard is "we cannot do that anymore". WHY NOT????????????????
