I am alert!! Drank three cups of coffee trying to absorb what happened today.Got to start from the beginning of the day

A few days ago, Kel handed me an envelope that's opened from the SSI office. He claimed there were pen marks on the envelope and he thought it was important for him to check it out, yet he didn't bring it to me right away, instead he kept it till closing time.
Think I told you all that the letter asked for my work info. Supposed to call the office by today.

Anyway, today, he didn't go to the shop in the morning for I told him to give his mother some space. One thirty came, his mother texted him telling him it's okay for him to open the shop.
I asked him whether it's okay to use the truck to visit Sis Carolyn for she's discharged yesterday.

Sis Carolyn thank all of you for the prayers. She has SARS. That's why she's kept for a long time and was quarantined for a day.
We had a good visit and she gave me a bag of canned goods. potatoes and home made biscuits.
Now you all know me.. I cried.

Picked Kel up from the shop, he left at three thirty, then I called the assigned SSI lady.

She asked me instead for my banking particulars, NOT my work info!!
I couldn't understand why. She told me it's to deposit a check for I am approved for SSI !!!
She said I should have gotten that approval confirmation weeks ago.
I DIDN'T!! That ASSWIPE had intercepted the letter, that was why he opened the next one! Now I cannot prove that, but Kel had become evil, and I really believe he stole the letter and thought the next one had a check in it.

She then said that the SSD people should have redirect my application after I was denied, to SSI.
How do I know/? AND that bastard lawyer didn't help much.
But the fourth application, by the grace of God, when rejected, fell into her 'in basket'. I had prayed for God to direct my case to HIS chosen people.
She didn't even send me to a doctor, approved it right away!! I think age has something to do with it.
So I will get back pay, from May (that was when it was turned to SSI) a monthly sum of 488 and MEDICAID.
Hallelujah!!!
I am not upset over the loss of money, very thankful that I will have my meds and doctor visits made affordable. MEDICAID.
Asswipe is still not home, but I won't tell him at all. Will see if he mentions anything about SSI than I will confront him about the approval letter.

The SSI lady told me that if I were to move out and be renting, there will be an increase of 300 more.
Goodness. talk about a relief right? AND MEDICAID.

So now, to all that have fervently prayed, called...,given to the collection of money towards my food, I humbly thank you. AND thank you for my Kindle and EQ.
Funny, it's been a year, and this morning I cried out to Lord that my back is up against the wall, and now this.
All in His time. He has never forgotten me. So whatever you are going through, He is faithul,

Jaye the man I talk with told me he would provide but never gave a date. You see you are living proof if you are denied apply again. They say around here it takes 3 or 4 times to get on ssd.

She has the bank's routing and account # and yes the cheques/check should be direct deposit. That will kill his wiles. No fear of him taking the checks, and if only I can prove he stole that letter, I am not afraid to report him to the proper authorities. But he thinks he's slick, God knows satan well. Kel forgot that part.

Yes Brother Ernie, I get discouraged, but I never stopped reapplying. It it's SSD, I'd get years backpay, but it's SSI, only a few months, and I will accept it, a little is better than nothing and MEDICAID.

YOu all know the anguish I go through with this help. Nothing against you, brother Ernie, but I don't want to be strapped to a machine, and will now dutifully take the necessary measures to avoid it, of course with Medicaid help now.
The SSI lady asked me how I managed not to get my insulin refilled, I told her the truth about getting them from my sister in France.
She gave a Hallelujah and said I have been well takn care of by our Lord. My sister won't have to worry anymore.

Kelvin came home, in a good mood, told me he made seven bucks. Nope, I didn't tell him anything. Wanted to ask him whether his labour is comparable to Haiti's hourly wage.. but I bit my tongue.

I know you all love me so much that you worry whether I'm eating right. Bad enough I always complain about not seeing the doctors.
I'll make the appointment first thing Monday. OFfice is closed tomorrow. Bet you all he will be making all sorts of tests that I at one time declined. Medicaid makes him richer now! Lolol.

So, read this.. I'll be back to eating the asparagus, eggplants and artichokes that I missed so much!! Perhaps indulge in a few ounces or steak, but best of all, able to get my giant shrimps again!! Lol. Kel won't see these veges, they'll be cooked before he gets home!!

Karen, I can't rent a po box at the local p.o for Kelvin has very good friends working there. I don't trust them for they are the ones that kept dropping my mail and boxes to his shop.
Holly and Richard had always offered the use of their address, so that would save rental fees.
Good excuse to visit them too.

Could I ask for prayer, for Bob's & my situation, please? Our tenants are spreading slander about us, and intending to stay the whole year at our mobile - had not intended to move to the UK apparently...... and now a lot of residents of the Park are believing their lies.....

Jaye the alternative to being strapped to this machine at night is driving 25 miles round trip three times a week and be hooked to a different type machine for fours a day.At least ths way I have all my day time hours free.

I picked a 5 gallon bucket full of beautiful red roma tomatoes. They are in the process of becoming sauce as we speak. Later on it will be enjoyed as chili and gohlash amd spagetti

I think this is a good alternative to having to drive to get "hooked up", eh Ernie?

yum, tomatoes - my friend in Winnipeg gave me some of her garden tomatoes - she has a tiny yard and about 4 plants. These tomatoes are SO good..... fresh & warm

I am spoiled for life. I am picking on the last 12 of 120 tomato plants. Many sliced for blt's and tomato salad. I have happy family and friendsI am down to roma types for salsa and sauce.

Well Jaye I'm so happy there is finally the help you need. Hmmm his friends at the PO helping him to mess with your mail??? Seems to me that is a federal offense besides loss of their jobs. I would certainly drop that bug in their ear. Good mail can go to a different address, he'll think it was denied again and be none the wiser. Direct deposit is best, bank can issue you a card easier to hide than cash. If you need a pin #, I always write it as a phone # with someones name and hide it in plain site on a scrap in my purse.

Ernie I've been enjoying fresh tomatoes from a nearby farm market. Won't grow here except for a big tub with a couple grape tomato plants that Amelia picks from every day. She won't share either. Took me a bit but finally have everyone trained to NOT put my tomatoes in the fridge. Don't like them cold on a sammy.

It wrecks the true taste of tomatoes to put them in the frige

Susan, that's terrible. The residents that judge you like that and not having walked in your shoes? The best defense. let the Lord works His ways.

Only store bought tomatoes will be in the fridge. When I grew them, the cherries were gone fast, and the heirlooms sit on the kitchen sill for maybe a day or two.
But, i would have maybe two plants the most. :D

Karen, the bad part is that, from this house, the mailbox is obscure. I have to walk the dirt road, about i/8the of a mile to it. It also sits so conveniently next to the appliance shop and of course, the appliance shop's mailbox.
Thus said, the carriers are too lazy to make that extra trip if packages needed to be dropped off, so they handed them to Kel.
The head postmistress is a friend of mine. I had discreetly told her about what they're doing, and I know she had told them to stick to the operating procedures. She knows Kelvin's whore husband and detest what Kelvin had done. But once they're on the road, she can't see what they're doing unless a cam is set up.
Since it is not feasible for me to keep an eye, unless I wait by the mailbox.. Kelvin will be receiving my mail. Once, he kept a package from France, I wouldn't know about it if Ida hadn't called me up!!
Just like the prison, it's the good ole boys club here in a town of two thousand.

Hmmmm Good Ole Boys hey? Well just drop the bee that tampering with ANYONES mail is a Federal offense and friends can't save your butt then. Let him know you WILL report you are missing mail. No more door mat.....

I'm talking to some of the residents, Jaye - not many, because most do not know me and don't care to apparently. I lived there quietly for 9 years. In 3 months our tenants have destroyed us.....

Susan fill out request for services or information on products for every thing you can find trade shows and fairs are great places to get a lot of cards you will fill their mail box lol. Sign them up for every thing you can find. Give out their phone number to requesting a call back. lol

I won $140.00 last night at the casino Linda lose 60 so we wemt away with 80 bucks profit. Now I lost about that much the last 3 times so am I ahead no but it was nice to win something.

Yes Thunder, I thank you for your well wishes. You have always been in my corner, and it feels so good to be able to breathe and looking at Kel with a "I know something you don't" smile.

Sisters and brother, we are down to cans of tuna, and he hates that!! Yesterday he's forced to bring in a dozen eggs, more canned cat food and that asswipe thought about himself and got more sodas.
Today, before he left for his rendezvous, I reminded him of the empty larder and he had to get a loaf of bread, cats dry food, cat sand litter and suggested he get some canned ham if not it would be tuna for work.
For lunch, I fixed grean beans and potatoes and forced him to recognise that they came from Sis Carolyn. Protein is tube steaks.
For dessert, he can empty two bottles of his soda!!

My team won again, it was a bitter win against an unranked team. SU did a good job in taking all the opportunities served to them on stupid penalties that LSU made. Too much testerone but a win is a win. My boye.. did good.
Not a misspell, love that running back Fournette, he's my boye, a good guy all around.

Asswipe came home to get into his uniform, no groceries but a crisp twenty dollar bill. Just the cheapest sixteen pound of cat food will take half of that. Then he made his order of Chef Boyardee spaghetti and meatballs an no more bacon nor hot dogs. I stopped him after he said more soda.. and I asked what will I be eating.
He got into a tiff, and said cancel the spaghetti, the soda and just feed the cats!
Nope, didn't try to give in at all. For that bill is brand new, I knew it came from an ATM machine.
He IS hiding money.

A sister had told me she prayed for us both. Her prayers for Kelvin is for the Lord to give him what he deserves.. may have a negative connotation, but she's as hurt as I am. No ill will, just what the Lord wants to bless him with. And for me to be taken care of by Him.
Actually, come to think of it, Kelvin will see improvement in his lot, when he truly humbles himself and start being the honest man he once was.

Now if he asked where I get the money for doctors appts.. I'll safely say.. from a Great Friend.

I'm going to draft an email to Carolyn, asking her if she wants to help us move back, what timeframe she's thinking of - 1 month, or 9 months when their lease is up? She said she still wants to help us settle in, and of course if they want to stay out the year, we will honour that (we have to anyway, by law).
We just need to know - it's not as though when they leave we just find another tenant. No, this is impacting where we live and all the things we have to do to prepare for it.
I will be calm, cool, collected, and non-emotional. Just asking for them to keep us in the loop so we know where we stand.

So happy for you Jaye. So nice to hear good news. I'd never mention I got the SSI to Kel, none of his business. You did get a hold of a very nice worker, thank God for that too. We need prayer of thanks in your case and prayers for help for Susan & Bob. Ernie so glad you can get your treatments at home. You have been blessed with such a good wife that sees to your comfort.

Our heat wave is still here and doesn't look like it will be cooling down any time soon..

am in the middle of laundry and cleaning. finished one living room, by bedroom and bathroom, and the kitchen. have one more living room tod, and the rest is mydaughters responsibility

calling post office to put in two reports - one for their site not allowing us to put in a change of address, and also to report Marcel & Carolyn not giving us our mail - withholding it

Good for you! Here in the states, it is a major no no, to mess with someone else's mail.

The post office took my complaint, and will call back in two days re: withholding of mail, and their system not allowing me to change our address

Don't let them drop your complaint. Call them back if you don't hear from them.

Made my appointments yesterday LK. Of course, that includes early morning for bloodworks and it will be in three weeks time, the earliest. That's fine with me as I still have two months worth of insulin and now able to refill my heart meds without begging Kel for money.
I'll just lie to him that one of you sisters sent me money!! Lolol... okay.. who's going to be my partner in crime?
I asked the Lord whether I should tell him for two wrongs don't make a right, and I do need a cataract removal surgery, still I heard to wait on Him :D
Guess as long as he hasn't come out clean at his end, I shouldn't play into the devil's hands for now.

Asked him to bring some meat, a loaf of bread and paper towel last night. He brought home a can of spam and a roll of paper towel. He bought a can of spaghetti and meat balls for himself, saying I won't have to cook for him one night. But what am I supposed to eat.. he couldn't answer me.
As for the spam, he suggested rice porridge which he likes with fried onions. Asswipe was told the larder is bare.. no onions.
My truck still isn't fixed and will never be fixed and I reminded him that this month will be the last payment for one of his illicit loans. He wasn't happy at the suggestion.
But.. I am okay knowing I have help finally. My head isn't hurting that bad.
Holly and Sis Carolyn are willing to help me 'hide' things from him.

Sis Kathy, I asked the Lord to give you a way out of your current situation. That's too much on Michael and your mental health.

Good morning sisters!

It has happened!!
Went without power for four hours! I was oblivious to no lights this morning for my morning routine's been altered to going outside first this morning, attend to the kids and I heard Kel saying the electricity is off and that his mother's off too. Guessed then he must have called her on the cell.
He took off in the truck saying to call the phone company.
Hours later, I stood on the back deck that overlook Ida's kitchen, there were lights!
Of course I called him and he denied not paying the electric bill.

Half an hour ago , the lights came back on. I called him and he asked whether the electric co. had sent a maintenance truck, Now sisters and brother Ernie, if maintenance was sent, he'd have seen it from Ida's, My powers of deduction told me that he was on his way home from paying what's due. Can't help it but told him we were cut off from the main head office and turned back on the same way.. digital electronics!!
Ida must have given the money, and I think she did that because I am still in this house.
But, I won't ask her and play dumb~

What an exciting morning..
