Bob got the kitchen counter installed, and set the sink in - now for the plumbing. One of the connecting pipes is too long so he'll have to cut it down a bit.
The dishwasher has a leak where it's joined, so Bob's going to see about that, too.
Hooray - now I can pack more dishes, etc away!!!

Slept most of yesterday and through the night too. Still sneezy and snotty so suppose today will be the same. Missy Amelia stayed downstate with grand parents so It's very quiet here. If I had to get the punies, it's a good time, no company and nothing going on.

The fire continues to burn bigger than ever!! Biggest fire in Ca right now with over 65,000 acres which is about 94 square miles. It jumped a Hwy they were hoping to avoid and is now heading in a northern direction towards more forest land which is NOT good at all!! There are about 3200 fire fighters on this fire. 24 homes 26 outbuildings destroyed!!! But right now 6300 structures are threatened. We need rain!!! if only the huge down pour the Sierra's had yesterday would of been over this fire it probably would be out :(

Our daycare is growing!!! We are turning ppl away because we don't have enough room. I was so tuckered out yesterday I crashed about 9 o'clock last night lol. I am leaving Thursday to house sit for my cousin for 5 days ahhhhh I can't wait....Just me a big house and a huge swimming pool, Sweet!!!! Will send pics when I am there

Today, I got a message saying that there is someone who will help poor Bob get the plumbing done - a plumber is coming tomorrow (morning or afternoon, not sure, but I don't CARE - it's getting Done) to do the plumbing, for under $200 - I told Grace & Robert. Now, they just have to agree to pay. I told them that they have to pay for it. No if's, and's, or but's!! After all, Bob's put a lot of work and $$ into this place that more than covers the cost of the 1st month's rent they didn't charge us.

Jaye I wore out my wedding rings several years ago. I had the stones reset into a new set of rings which my DGS presented to his fiance and then wife.

Sure hope Grace and Robert will agree to pick up the costs. Susan.

My wedding stone from my ex was a Burmese jade. If I can afford it, I'd like to turn it into a pendant and let my oldest niece have it.

If we get the $200 from them tonight, to pay the plumber tomorrow, I'll be good with that, and we'll move onwards.

That was for my oldest DGS, next DGS I gave my mother's set which I inherited, The third I gave my diamond pendant which he had made into a ring for his intended. I have 2 more pieces to pass down. My DGDs each have a string of pearls I gave them an inch when they were born and added an inch every birthday. Finishing off with a diamond clasp when they were 17. So far, each has been married in their pearls.
My mother did the same for my girls and my niece.

Karen, my mother did something like you for the siblings in Singapore and France, even the boys.
She got the girls 22 karat gold chains and bangles and the boys, just bangles for their intended brides.
So far the boys aren't married (closet gays) and their jewelry will go to the nieces.

Yes Jaye, we get "grants" for food and any supplies we may need (tp, baby wipes, diapers etc) and for help with utilites

Latest update on fire 70,000 acres burnt 40% contained, 43 homes, 53 outbuildings, 8 structures destroyed, 6529 structures threatened. They have 4 huge airplanes fire planes flying over constantly. The weather has cooled down a bit and there is moisture in the air so that is helping. Our so called Gov. is on his way to check it out.

So here are a few pics of my cousin's back yard. There are 5 cherry tomato plants LOADED it will take me the whole 5 days to get them all picked lol. I think the reason the pics are sideways is cuz I took them with my phone, sorry :(

Yes it is :) The whole house is HUGE 5 bdrooms 2 1/2 bath glad I don't have to clean it :) but I do have to say their house keeper is not the best....found lots of cob webs and things not dusted, kitchen floor dirty and sticky and she was here Tuesday....I just might clean it a little if I get bored it's very quite and the weather has turned a little to chilly to swim grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Pretty sad they pay for a housekeeper that can't clean.

Some house cleaners are on a time schedule. The faster they can clean the house, they can move on to another. Of course, surface cleaning.
I applied for a cleaner's job, but being slow in movement, I wasn't hired.

Cindy, California home insurance will likely go up with these house fires.

Yea all of the blinds are real dusty OMG!!! When I worked for Merry Maids we cleaned them every time!! Top to bottom left to right This house is so clean there should be no reason she skimps on the dusting. No kids or dogs, big open spaces so it's a cinch to clean really. If I didn't live so far away I would offer to be her house keeper

Jaye, Ca is a very expensive state to live in. Everything is way higher than other states except Hawaii, lol.

I have friends living in Hawai'i. Unless you inherit some grand mullah, or one of the CEOs, be prepared to work extra jobs. Even as a tourist, one can feel the pinch there!

I made myself the best BLT last night. I included some swiss cheese and avocado. Home grown tomatoes taste so good. I may get some eggplant, so slow in setting fruit.

Two young men came to the door wanting to shampoo carpet in one room free. Said they were a new company and giving one room cleaning for free. My carpet is filthy so told him he could do the hallway. He said he would be back in 15 minutes, guess his mother never taught him to tell time. Well, they never came back so I guess a free shampoo isn't going to happen. I wouldn't even consider it if my son wasn't here. I think it was a scam anyway, If I could afford my carpets cleaned by professionals I'd call a well known company.

Kel had to do groc. shopping again today since I don't have the truck.
He spent a hundred a couple days ago, for only hamburger meat, cat food, Lola's food, detergents, his chips, bananas, his spaghetti and meatball (a dozen cans), his drinks (6 one liter bottle), toilet paper and shampoo and was complaining how expensive things are!
Today, I sent him out again for sausages (as there is nothing for him to bring to worki) more Lola's canned food, for he only bought six the other day, and bread.
Laughing silently as he complained again, as this time, he didn't get NOTHING for himself.

LK, I am not starving. There are still cans of food that my family had sent me and he won't touch them.
Don't think he'd lose weight anytime soon neither for I am certain he helps himself to fast food on the road.

Glad to hear you made gim do the shopping. About time he realizes how much food cost.

Well God has a funny way to teach him.
He bought himself some clothes supposedly from a thrift store, and tried to hide that from me. One by one the shirts were worn, and then this pair of shorts.
He was fussing that he cannot put his billfold in the back pocket on acct. of the back flap.
I never get him any shorts with flaps for the inconvenience. He lied and said that I had got them.
Well sister, he wore that the whole day, and tonight I picked it up wanting to wash it.

I had to call the prison and told him that God sure showed him what a fool he is.
The shorts had Cato brand, and you all know Cato sells only women's clothings!! Lololol. It was a size 18W! With decorative stitches in the back.

Bet he'd come home pissed. I am used to his rants, I don't fight back anymore, I let God deal with his wicked ways. Yes wicked.
Lord wants us to love our enemies, Kel sure acts like one when he thinks he doesn't need the Lord.

Oh yes. he tried to humiliate me when I demanded a birthday card from him upon his return.
He got me a card that don't say much and it's a generic greeting for friends, not loved ones.
I was so sad, but I didn't show it for he was watching my reaction. He thought he'd spark a fight. Wrong.
In the card, he had written "I love you".
I told him if it had been a plain card, just those words he wrote made it the most beautiful card in the world!!
His jaw dropped LK. Bet he didn't see that coming. It's been 12 years since the last time I got a card from him, and turning sixty is a blessing.

If you notice his Facebook page, not too many likes for his songs except from me. Only reason I supported him was to be nice and that too pissed him off!! For I get more likes on whatever I post on mine.

He came home pissed as predicted. Made him more upset that I told him it's the Lord laughing at him. He retorted that our Lord doesn't laugh at anyone. So happen that I was turned to psalm 37 when he said that. Ha!! I quoted

He says he's not wicked. Explained to him that he plotted against me for spending money that I can use for MY food. That shut him up.

Then a few hours ago, another episode whereby our Lord laughs at him again.
He let me use the truck to pick up post office boxes. Picked him up at the shop, before coming home.. he literally ran to the house so said to be on Facebook for a few minutes before he does his nightly disappearance.
I was trying to get the boxes out of the truck when all of a sudden an ogre voice boomed like thunder! U can bet Tabor City heard it.

It went on for ten minutes, I just waited in the truck till that devil scream is over.

You see sisters and brother, somehow one of the cats had snuck in the bedroom. It shit on his laptop!!! Lololol... yes, his precious laptop. And peed on his pc chair!!!

Oh I forgot to tell you that he lets an old man cuts his hair this time, a retired barber.
I have always cut his hair.
In November, the whore cut it, leaving gaps in the back.
A few months later, she cut it again, this time the right side is much longer than the left. I showed him what she did and had to correct it. He couldn't believe it until he saw that I never touch the left side.
Well, a few days ago, he let this retired barber do it, so said in trade of repairs.
Sisters and brother, prepare for another laugh! Kel is very particular that his moles are well hidden behnd his ears. The man practically shaved off a wide swath there, exposing them.
If that's not funny, he had somewhat left two tiers for the back bottom part!!
The first top layer is thick, and the second.. it's like bangs!! Lolol.

I know it's bad of me, but Jesus has witnessed enough tears from me. And you have all cried along with me.

We need these laughter don't we at his expense. He even admitted that he had strange stares..

My daughter informed me, starting Sept we will have 10 kids YIKES lol She said she really misses me!! And my little buddy JT walks through the house calling for me "Cinny, Cinny" aw makes my heart swell.

Been enjoying my stay here, picked some cherry tomatoes this morning and have tons more to pick over the next couple of days

Spent a couple hours out in the pool. Wasn't as warm as I like it and a little windy tomorrow is supposed to be warmer
