Happy Happy Birthday to a wonderful Lady. :))))

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Thanks Debra.

Plainwell, MI(Zone 5b)

Love the birthday cake with the flowerpot. Really quirky. Happy birthday Linda.
Had to go to Jackson last night for my neices bday. We had a horrible storm on the way home. It rained so hard the wipers really could not keep up. Rained here most of the night. Prolly why i slept so good. Raining again now. And i think most of the day too. But i will relax. Maybe. Its my last day off. From four i am so sad.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

oh wow Ronna, 4 days off, that is great. I am glad you made it home safe and sound. Still soggy here, but at work I don't even know. :)

Plainwell, MI(Zone 5b)

I really enjoyed my days off. But back to reality. I wanted to get my new space planted but it will have to wait for another day. Sigh sigh.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

I echo that, Ronna. I have a new area to "play" in Joe is digging up some of the yukon gold potatoes, so U know I will be moving my morning glory tubs to that spot :)

Plainwell, MI(Zone 5b)

Oh for sure Debra. I really like morning glories. We do not have enough sun for them tho. We have loads of sun today. It is so nice outside for sure. We are heading to the big lake today. Lame Michigan that is. It is such a beautiful lake. Havent been in a couple years. Today will be perfect to go.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Enjoy your trip!

Plainwell, MI(Zone 5b)

Oh, we did Linda! Such a beautiful day to go also. We had lunch and bought a few things some sweets and a cute tshirt. Haha

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Does anyone know what these are? I planted a package of wildflowers, and this is whats blooming so far. # 3 looks like a poppy?

Pretty. I thought the first one was spiderwort. But no. Poppy prolly would be number three.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

#3 poppy

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

LK, look at the different species of Scutellaria (skullcap) for #1. Many of them are native/introduced here and are often included in wildflower mixes.

That's it. Thanks Jean.

Mount Sterling, KY(Zone 6b)

the one in the center looks like it might be Nicotiana but it's hard to tell for certain from that pic. They are all very pretty, LK.

Very Pretty LK and unusual.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Isn't it a cool plant? :D

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

I had those in FL. Smell is something else.

Plainwell, MI(Zone 5b)

I am so excited. I have purchased a reconditioned laptop. I can get rid of my whole old computer and the desk it is on. Yeah... now i will have to get a wireless printer. So excited. I feel like i am moving up in years eletronics wise. My old computer is so slow. I am not sure how long we have had it. Hopefully i will be able to load plant pics much faster now.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Make sure the printer is compatible with your brand of computer.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Don't forget that Joy has the old, new borrowed and blue swap open.

Plainwell, MI(Zone 5b)

Good point Linda. I will have to have my son look into that for me. He is a whiz at all things computers. We will miss him when he moves onto Kentucky for sure.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

congrats, Ronna, I moved to a lap top three years ago and use an HP printer with it. It works great for shipping labels. I do not miss my old desk top at all! ;D

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

never did shipping lables. is it hard?

Mount Sterling, KY(Zone 6b)

Shipping labels are easy. Just go to the USPS website and create an account. You put in your information and it calculates how much it costs to ship and it is cheaper to do it online than taking it to the P.O. I save as much as $3 on a box. You do need a scale to weigh your packages. I got a postage scale on ebay for $14. It has already pay for itself many times over. Flat rate boxes are still the same cost either way, but using your own boxes can save you money. If you use the postage calculator it will give you an idea how much you can save and you don't have to purchase if you don't want to.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

thanks for the info nanny

Mount Sterling, KY(Zone 6b)

You are welcome jkj.

Plainwell, MI(Zone 5b)

Will have to look into that also. I am getting used to my laptop. The battery only lasts two hours. I hate having things plugged in all the time. Bad for the bill. Oh well have to get over that i guess.
Here is a couple shots of my newest opened lily. Its called shocking. I love the vibrant colors. Really the pics do not do it justice.
We are going to see James Taylor at a venue tonight. So excited. I love his songs and voice. Will be grooving for sure.
