Best/Worse/What did I learn today? chat with friends old/new

Betty, I'm not so sure you should do that.
You are still in state of shock, You could experience other overwhelming feelings.
It is comforting to know the authorities are right on top of this.
( I am just worried about your wellbeing too)

I am really glad your friends are going to be with you.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Kind of thought that Teri

Storming here, haven't left the couch, not sleeping but resting

Just spoke with Greg, said Noah is alert, still can't talk because of tubes but they see improvement , thank the Lord..you prayer Angels certainly know how to summon up a miracle

Victoria Harbour, ON

Was just a thought, but it was more to see if officer who held Noah was there..I will find out who he is and get a thank you to him

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

Will be much more meaningful when that thank you to him comes from Noah. He owes that officer his life.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

Thank you Betty, for the link - scant info, but obviously it's "out there"

Victoria Harbour, ON

That he does

Greg said Noah smiled at them, they must have taken the machine off of him as Greg said he tried to talk but Greg Mel said not to

That is good news

Still, thoughts remain, what if it's the calm before the storm..terrible aren't i
I believe in the power of the Lord but still worried

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

Betty - I agree with the rest - don't go - it will be a crowd, and very overwhelming. Noah will get a chance to thank the officer, and so will you. The officer isn't pining away waiting to hear a Thank You - it can be done later, when things settle down a bit

Victoria Harbour, ON

Guess because they are all under 16 not much can be said
Likely something in next edition of the paper

Was nice seeing words 'stable'as it was posted this morning

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

you're Noah's grandmother - it's your job to worry about him, and love him with all your heart.
Happy to hear that Noah's smiling - what a beautiful smile that must have been for them to see :-)

Lyndonville, NY

Betty, not good to go over there, I agree. Let them do their job. And yes, when Noah is home, go as a family and thank that officer.

Put it in Gods hands...and let Him walk with all of you through this..Don't borrow trouble "calm before the storm". Maybe this is what Noah needed for a wake up call...where his life was going. NOW he can turn around.

Love you Bessie Lou!!

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

You also need to keep in mind Betty that there are still two more boys out there who are just as guilty as the one arrested. Until they are caught, I would keep to just the family. Can you imagine what is going through their heads right about now?

Victoria Harbour, ON

They must be so frightened

Rita just called, picking up donuts and coffee, she says I need sugar

Glenview, IL

great news about Noah.
A smile for Mom and Dad, priceless.

Praying he will gain the strength to be moved closer to home.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

Those other 2 boys are running scared right now - won't show their faces.
Keeping to just the family is exactly right - you need to huddle together for strength and comfort.
Greg, Mel, and the rest are yours and Noah's family, and you should be together, not worrying about the rest right now.
And we're family :-)

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

An apple fritter would hit the spot right about now. What a sweetheart Rita is to bring the staff of life to you!!!!

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

awwwww what a beautiful smile, from Noah, to his parents :-)

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

I should go make myself a cup of Timmies too. I still have some French Vanilla and some English Toffee. Love them both!!!!!

Victoria Harbour, ON

They weren't calling for storm but it's here

N.C. Mts., NC(Zone 6b)

Betty, hope you got a few naps between the calls. Every thing sounds better. So happy you have so many friends. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Go rest everyone
It's been a long day eping me company

Oh here is June

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Betty, I have to agree with everyone else, stay home, get some rest, and let the police do their job! Was the snowmobile stolen, or was it brought home?

northeast, IL(Zone 5a)

Oh my gosh, Betty, prayers being said for Noah! I just renewed my DG subscription, and to read this news is just beyond belief. It sounds like he is in the best of hands. Take care of yourself.

So glad to hear the news about Noah. My stomach has been in knots all morning.

Sound like Noah is passing through the valley and moving into a recovery phase. Wonderful news that they might be able to move him soon.

hugs, katie

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Betty, sorry I was out of pocket...but so very glad so many were there for you, Noah, Kyle,Greg and Mel.

I do know from experience that the Lord works in mysterious ways and this may indeed be the way He brings Noah and his family back together.

Continued prayers and hugs for you all.

Betty I am going to put my 2 cents in here and agree with everyone else. Do not go over, tensions are just too high right now and all of these teens are scared witless for the most part.

Ladies St Michael's is a fantastic hospital When Warren was on the TO police force ALL injured officers were either taken there or Sunnybrook. First class facility!!

Doctors must be feeling more confident if they are suggesting Noah MIGHT be moved to Midland. I would have thought Barrie but what do I know.

I saw something out the window about an hour ago and it made me chuckle - there were over 40 wild turkeys striding right by the house. I thought to myself there is Noah and all his family, friends and his prayer warriors. He was trying to tell me he would be OK.

Take care of yourself Betty you are going to need all of your strength and more in the next few weeks.

My heart is with you M and G. I found the bone scans to be a piece of cake after all the other tests I went through.

Quote from Samigal :
I just got notified about your grandson, Betty. I am sick to my stomach hearing what you are going through. My prayers added for Noah, may our Lord be at his side holding his hand.

Same here Betty. What a great group of support you have here and you are wrapped in God's loving arms for sure.
Praying for a speedy recovery for Noah.
