Agency lady called and they wanted to know what he did during the time he wasn't working. I hope he mentioned helping me out since dad passed away. That may impress a lot of employers, well hope so any way. So, it is a waiting game again. Thank all of you for the prayers.

Northern California is getting drenched, hope our "families" up there are safe. I think we are supposed to get some of that storm too. It is a gloomy day, heavy clouds in our not so blue sky. I tore up all the morning glories and a million more babies have popped up. Don;t think I can pull those babies up faster than new ones appeared. My sweet peas are growing so fast and I better get out there and pull up the ever present weeds.

So glad you're here for another year, Jaye. I got my notice today! It is up for renewal on Christmas Day!!

Good Morning Everyone!

Yes we are getting some very much needed rain and snow, but it is damaging too. The high winds by passed us for some reason. It started raining here Wed. evening around 5 and is still coming down, it's a light steady rain, but there were a couple of good down pours yesterday. The snow level dropped too and it's still snowing. We will get a couple of days break then another storm coming in Monday and Tuesday.

My dogs are so silly, Harlee loves to go out in the rain, she even puts her face up to the Heavens, lol. Amy well she's another story, loves to chase sprinklers, but does NOT like the rain, she will not go out in it no matter how bad she needs to potty, lol

More packing today, jeez I have got too much stuff!!! Need to get busy and get stuff made up and sell at the flea market. I have a permanent table every month. After seeing some stuff that is getting sold, I went through my stuff and looked it up online, hmmmmmm I think I may be able to make a few hundred bucks. I have some old chain mail purses from the 60's, lots of turquoise and coral sterling silver rings, money clips and belt buckles,and lots of little knick knacks. So we will see how I do in Jan ^_^

Well, 32" on a 36" center for the baby shawl.......... then I knit the border... hope to have it done b4 baby comes home...... Emily is on her last day of work, so not delivering as yet. She'll be able to relax at home b4 Marshall arrives!

There is much damage due to the heavy rains. Watching some news and I would hate to be in the mud slides, or should say rock slides. Yes, we needed the rain, but I hate to see the damage it does. Around 3:34 AM the rain cam gushing down and winds so bad it sounded like it was tearing the roof off the house. The rains have slowed down here in my area, sun comes out then rain starts again. The mountains are getting a low of snow, great for the skiers, but still dangerous getting to the mountains........not for me!! Long Beach which isn't that far from us, have a lot of problems too due the rains. I guess the storm that hit Northern Ca. traveled on down to us.

No news on the job yet, but she said it could be a few days.

went for a tour at the Medical massage school today. I m very excited to start. I will start in May.

The rains have stopped, at least for now, and sun is out. I feel like crawling back in bed with a book. Went to bed very early last night with my kindle and started on the "Outlander". It took me a little while to get interested and now I can't wait to read more. Every morning I seem to have to put it on the charger so I'll have it ready for bed time. LOL

LOL I asked Bob what he wanted for dinner (would have to take the meat out to thaw) and he said "whatever". I asked him if he wanted it made with lots of love and a little bit of arsenic, and did he want it warmed up. He said "lightly warmed" LOL

I have a great fur baby story to tell. When my friend was breeding schnauzers I got Sami and her friend took Misty. One day her grandson left the gate open and Misty got out. She spent hours looking for her. Time went by and Misty never did show up. Well, 3 years passed and someone found Misty way down in Long Beach running so took dog to pound. Well, Misty was chipped and is now back home with her original owner. Apparently someone found Misty and she ended up running from them. It is a miracle that she got her baby back after so long. I'm going to have Mandy chipped. I had my Sami chipped, but she never got from from me. I was so happy to hear that as Mary cried so hard when she couldn't find her dog.

I think it is time to turn the heat on. Woke up this morning and didn't want to get out of my warm bed. I'll have to have my son light the pilot light for me tomorrow when he gets home. Have to plug in my electric blanket so when I climb into bed the sheets are warm. Odd, when I lived in Minnesota I never owned an electric blanket, but move to California and had to get one.

We have an electric blanket too, and I love that thing. Glad it has dual controls, cause hubby doesn't like it warm like i do.

Came home late after the Christmas dinner, had to stay with Kel's mum.

Saturday, Kel was with the woman, and when church asked her where he was, she told them that he's off somewhere and not at work, she won't lie for him.
That was the opening I had asked the Lord as to when I can discuss about him.
SHe had been lied to, and can't understand why the past 2 months he was in dire need of money and even took some from her. She understood now, when I told her that I do not do the books anymore, and saddened that Kel chose to live an unGodly life.
After church yesterday, I paid her a visit till 3. Kel had the nerve to lie to her that he was at the house at 1 p,m and I could vouch for him :D She just called him a liar, but didn't tell him I was with her.
I showed her hard proofs of his deceit. and it saddens me to see a mother who believes in her youngest, become a weak person, willing to abandon his family for a devil woman.
Do I have an ally on my side? I don't know.. but she needs to know and not let Kel take any more money from her, as all she has now is her fixed income when the insurance money is depleted.
All that time, I thought Kel's going to school.. he had been gallavanting with the devil, for he borrowed more money from her, saying he's going to Raleigh for postal/civil union tests!!!
Now he can't tell me that as I went through postal tests and interviews myself.

She has a strange way in loving her son, when the oldest one abandoned her, and now, she's really feeling the loneliness with Murdock gone.. she sure don't need for her money to be exploited by Kel for the devil woman.

Please pray for me that I will be kept from harm.

I understand how tough it must be for her to "lose" her son, Kel.........
My mom is beginning to understand that her only son, Stan doesn't care enough about her to visit her in the nursing home for more than 5 minutes, when it suits him - maybe twice a month.
I know it's tough for your mother-in-law, too.......

yes, my step-son Adam is very proud of his little princely baby! They'll be heading home tomorrow, mother & child... natural birth, and apparently easier than Emily & Adam expected.

Jaye, Dr. is still doing test to determine exactly what is wrong with my hip and or back. The injections he put in my hip did not work, so now he thinks there may be something wrong with my back? So I have to have xrays and an MRI to try to find whats wrong?

Well, I have to say I am glad to hear that your MIL, knows the truth. It is pretty sad that Kel is taking her money, knowing she has a limited income. I pray every day that Kel will find it in his heart to ask Him for forgiveness, and that he accepts God back into his life.

Marion it is unlikely I am coming there for corn bread but maybe someone I know could get a recipe from the internet and give it a try. Such a shame she didn't ask my mother to teach her some family secrets. Speaking of which I haven't had turnip greens or black eyed peas in an age either. Those foods have just dropped out of sight and my kids and most surely their kids have never tasted much less heard of them. Gosh I miss my mother she was truly a wonder she could do anything.

Susan how wonderful a little baby what a special journey his parents is starting. Pretty special for you to.
