How are you all doing Kathy? I hope your all doing better and on the mend!
Linda, if you can access it, Joann's has a 60% off coupon today. If you can put the Joann's app on your phone, it's there too.
I'm going to be surprised with what I'm having for Thanksgiving, I know turkey but don't know what else. Albertson market here where one of the gals work donated 45 complete turkey dinners to the lodge, so now they are busy looking for churches etc. to give the dinners too. I know there are lots of people who could use a helping hand this time of year. My sister-in-law said she will call before picking me up on Turkey Day. I imagine most of the guys will be watching football, well gals too, and I was thinking I should take a book along in case I get bored. LOL Not into football, but always had it on for DH.
Still nice weather, wish I could send some for all those snow bound people. Don't look forward to Christmas holidays. I sure am glad I don't have any teens as now all they want is electronic gadgets.
I'm still thinking about that red thong, Ernie.
Linda, I am sick of being poked, prodded, and stuck with needles. They are talking back fushion. Will know more after my MRI. Haven't slept in 2 days. Have a headache that topmax wont take away.
But I am as fine as frog hair
Karen I have the app on my phone.
Pegi, enjoy your meal what ever you have.
Kathy I do hope you find a solution soon.
Linda do you have the text app too? I used the email 60% off coupon The text app gave me another 20% off every thing including sale items that weren't discounted by coupon. Many of the people who work there don't know about the text app so keep asking.

No. How do you get the text?
Our store had a paper with directions and the cutter helped with it. But the other cutters didn't know how.
Kathy!! Another Pyrenese puppy? I hope this one works out better than the last one! Pictures, please!!
Bet your house will be lots of fun with Kadin this Christmas!!
Finally got Bill home from the hospital at 5:30 today. The Dr. told him he could go at 10:30 this morning. Can't believe it took that long to get their act together! Not happy campers there!! Fixed marinated roasted pork tenderloin and baked sweet potatoes for dinner. We're both just chillin now!
Hopefully that's the last trip to the Atrium for a long, long time!!

Text to 56266 message: coupon, they will send you a message answer Y, they will then send you a code to be used at the register for 20% off everything even sales, but not items you used store coupon on.
Yikes, I think I might have lost a few days!!! Kim and I have been running trying to get caught up on things....she had several doctor's appointments scheduled plus all the shopping for Thursday.
Guess we will be baking the turkey gingered carrots, green beans and pumpkin pies for the dinner with the Juniors (Charles and family).
It has been raining here since noon on Saturday and looks like it will continue through tomorrow. Been under several tornado warnings and several thunderstorm warnings but so far just some high winds and heavy burst of rain. No, not complaining...we needed the rain for sure.
Miz Jaye, I still have those red toenails...just not a brilliant red this time. A wonderful new bluish red color named "Dress to Kilt"; wonder where they ever came up with a name like that. ;-)
We are trying to figure out where we will be putting our Christmas tree this year as the foster kitties have no respect for anything that can be climbed!!! Talk about bad babies!!!
Not much else going on. Having to make a quick trip to Bainbridge tomorrow morning then I hope it is back home to stay until Thursday.
Sending hugs, love and prayers to all for a healthy, happy Thanksgiving.
Cookie, double prayers for a quick recovery for Bill.
Thank you all for your prayers and good thoughts. He's one hurting puppy this morning.
will take pix of Nikki Sabanette when my batteries charge.
Cookie, sorry to hear he is not feeling well today! He will be tender for a few weeks. I hope he has some pain meds to keep it under control!
Kathy, I can't wait to see your new furr baby!
Jaye what are you up to today?
Sue, safe travels!
I am back from San Antonio, and shopping was a bust. I got to my appointment early, thinking I could get out early! HA!!! I sat there from 1:30 till 6:30 last night. His office we found out after sitting for 3 hours scheduled all of his appointments for the week, into Monday and Tuesday, and they are closed Wed. - Friday. Everyone sitting there was getting pretty vocal about having to sit so long. One guy said we are all arthritis patients, it is not easy for us to sit for 3-4 hours at a time. And let the nurses know how upset he was. Dr. told me I have a pretty good case of bursitis in my hip, and told me to carry a cane with me at all times. Getting old sucks!
So by the time I got out of there I was too upset, and sore to go shopping. Then I got stuck in heavy traffic, a 30 minute travel time turned into 2 more hours! I got to my son's place and crashed!

Good morning sistahs it still 0 dark thirty and raining I am glad I get to stay hoqme no place to go today. I have a lot of dahlias to cut so since they are mostly dug I will be warm and dry cutting away at them in my shop. The Golden horde will likely be there to and I can expect Milo the super cat to pay me periodic visits by leaping on me. At least he only uses minimal claws so he does not hurt me. I have often wondered how they seem to know to not harpoon tou.
Yesterday was a great day. I went fishing on a boat I built in 78-79. I launched it Sept.29 and took it crab fishing Oct first. Wow that was close I say close because that was the last year crab license were avail from the state after that you had to buy out an existing guy. Anyway I launched an unfinished 32 foot boat and off I went. I wll never forget that day because little did I know I threw down my crab pots on top of the mother load of crabs. I caught 2250 pounds the first day. We were really tired but still had some daylight so we took 250 pounds of bait and said lets go. My wife was furious No cell phones those days and so she drove the 30 miles only to see me going around the corner at the light house. She gave the dock crew our dinner and went home. We caught another 1250 pounds and came home in the pitch dark. I drove home tired to the bone but happy as a clam that we had done so well. So 5.00 found me sitting in an idling boat waiting for the dock crew to get there and get my bait. Oh ghee this is about yesterday not a day 35 years ago.
So 30 years ago I sold that boat to a friend of mine and he has fished it for salmon ever since. He is a real deal salmon fisherman a professional. So yesterday under dark skies we shoved off and I once again was happy to be there. I listened to the sweet growl of the throaty diesel and felt it sending its soothing vibrations thorough my feet and into my soul. Oh my goodness I was born to be a sailor but life got in the way. Anyway I watched John and his young crewman doing their thing and I relived past days of old that were oh so fun. We Had set the net 4 times and it was getting late . As we neared the end and no more fish could be seen all of a sudden three fish appeared from thin air and committed suicide by ramming and the last 5 feet of net and I looked at John and said it's a sign lol. He had a twinkle in his eye and said lets do it again. As darkness neared we threw out the end buoys and started reeling the 1800 foot net off the drum. The rain let up and it started to blow. Not much about a steady 25 with gust to forty. I stood in the comfort of the cabin and watch them as they worked the net. I could hear John telling Brandon how to do it lol. Well John is right but sheesh give the kid a break. About the time it got dark and I lost sight of the Horizon I begin to feel the tell tale signs of sea sickness so out with my teeth and into my pocket they went and off with my glasses. then out of the cabin into the fresh air ah there's the horizon. up down to the side then the other we went fulfilled and most enjoyable was the last two miles it was flat calm.
There we two boats ahead of us at the unloading dock The one we followed slid back toward us and said they just closed the receiving dock they are out of fish tickets. I have never heard of a fish co being out of tickets. So off we went for the berth under a gentle rain. Bran The weather is cool enough brandon covered the deck load of fish with a tarp and we were ready to go home as soon as we tied up. I just talked to John he is fishing again he told me we got 3500 pounds yesterday. The remarkable thing about this man is he is 84 years old and is tough as nails.
Ok enough fun for me now back to the flower cutting.
JKJ sorry you continue with the back problems.
Cookie there is a man I will talk to in hopes he can and will heal Bill.
Pegi just keep on thinking it will reduce your chances of getting ALZ or Dementia
Ok off to do something even if its wrong.
Goodness Ernie, that is a lot of fish! You don't like fishing do you? LOL! What do you do with all that fish?
I would rather fish than eat lol. That fish was with a commercial fisherman. He told me on the phone a while ago it was 3500 pounds at .65 a pound. That made a decent pay day. And the good part is his helpers take was about $400.00 not bad if you are a young man. Yours truly got some fish for the smoke house.
Sounds like lots of fun and a bonus of smoking fish added in!
Thanks for talking to the Man for Bill. He is feeling much better this evening.
Morning everyone!
Are you all ready for Thanksgiving!
Hello Ladies,
This is going to be a very quite Thanksgiving for Doug and I. His dad is taking us out to dinner, which will be really early ugh. Then i will be going up to my daughter's Friday for left overs lol then Saturday the whole family will be going to visit my Bro, he will be surprised he doesn't know they are coming. I will stay for a few days, going to take candles to bowling alley, then doing a flea market (hope it doesn't rain, even though we need it) then home to start packing. Yup packing, I am moving back in with my mom (again LOL). Doug is hoping his mom will move in here with him. Her place has no electricity (due to Doug's brother's crappy job of re-wiring her mobile home) and it may caught on fire some day. She can't turn on any light switches because it sizzles and pops. But she argues with him that she can't afford another storage. Hello!!! get rid of the stuff you have been hanging onto for the last 100 years, lol Yup she has 6 storage units that is full of stuff that she has not used in years!!!! She is a hoarder. My only concern about her moving in here, is I'm afraid Doug will let her fill it up with more crap. I plan on coming back here as soon as my Bro is released from prison, but if my mom should happen to pass before then, then I will just stay in her house, my name is already on the deed. I plan on coming here each month for one week to help Doug out with stuff.
Most of these new cell phones have apps for every store to get coupons. For Payless Shoes, if you text 747474 then each season in capital letters you will get coupons: For example text FALL to 747474 and go from there :)
Oh mercy no Linda, Trying to pay bills but bank site is messed up & too early to call. Need to get my lists together, Then shop. Tomorrow I will start cooking. On the road Fri. for our dinner Sat.
I'm still not up to snuff so hubby will need to go shopping with me which means we take Amelia too. Not a problem as far as she is concerned, she loves shopping. Debating on whether to make my butter pie crusts or to take the easy way out. Definitely a better flavor to the butter. Usually the hardest to fine is the gingerbread cookies for the kids to decorate. Forgot to look at Joann's. believe it or not, it's where they usually are, Lots of stores have villages or trains but cookies are hard to find.
Bank to see if the bank is straightened out.
Happy Thanksgiving all if I don't back to here.
I hope your online banking goes smoothly, I hate it when our bank site goes down!
I hope your feeling better soon, with all you have to do!
Found you all!!!
Oh no sis Kathy.. you're getting a diva!!! Nikki Sabinette sounds like one.
Waving PegI,, We should all go to Karen's. That's the one with great Thanksgiving menu!
Love your fish and crab tales brother Ernie. You must write a memoir and who knows, you'd be DG'S Hemingway. Did you fish in your red thong, Ernie?
Thanks for the new room LK. Sorry the doctor's visit wasn't smooth. Bursitis can be very painful, did he gave you anything strong for it?
Another year with no Christmas tree Marion for me. Pre and after the 'kids'..just not into it having been doctrined in a fundamental church that trees aren't kosher!! Lol!! Seriously, I once had a tree that was so overloaded on one side that Charlie Brown's tree is a work of art.
Oh Cindy, sorry you have to relocate yourself again. But I can understand, three will be a crowd at Doug's.
Cookie, hope Bill is doing much better.
For Thanksgiving, Carolyn's serving oysters tomorrow evening.
But I am still cooking roast turkey, cheesy potatoes, dressing and broiled sweet potatoes.
Kel has promised not to throw away the food, if packed. Will explain in the next paragraph.
The latest news is Kel is still home and I found out that woman is trying to reunite with her husband. (I;ve been praying for that). Kel really was thinking that she would let him move in with her, but looks like a door is closed.
Then I found out that Kel is seeing his ex wife and wonder of wonders, he denied that as well.
God knows I've been nice to that woman.. she watched out house when we were at BJ's and MOI paid her 100 a day for the babysitting 1 cat, Lola and watering the garden. Plus, whenever Teresa (her daughter) needs something, I make sure Kel helped out, until the shop goes bust.
I know God doesn't like what she does. this woman goes to our old church and she forgot that our names are still on the roster.
Each time she asked for prayers for Kel and his mother, my church sister Carolyn will chimed up with prayers for me!!! And Patty was the real reason why he quit returning to that church.. he wasn't comfortable then!
I have always packed food for Kel, but there were unopened tupperwares for 3 days!
I have the suspicion that she had been bringing food to the prison for him. When I asked, of course he denied. Truly sisters, it's NOT a competition between her and I.
You don't return to exes... if it doesn't work the first time, what makes them think it will work again.
I know his mother has something to do with this, as his ex and her are thick as thieves.
Let God deal with this den of snakes.
Phew.. all out.. and I am still here. Please continue with your prayers that Kel will repent and rededicate his life to Jesus.
As for me, I'm still in His word. The Man up there will make sure that anything form against me won't stand.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone, LizH, Lizrainery, Sister Judy.. you all too!
Cindy, Good luck with your move. And I know you will have a good visit with your brother.
Hey Jaye, glad you found us. Sounds like your going to have a nice dinner tomorrow.
Still praying for you and Kel.
Oh Jaye!! I would stop making his food right now! Why go to the trouble of preparing and packaging for him just to have it wasted. Ack!! That man is SOOO aggravating!
Anyway, have a wonderful day with Carolyn.
Hugs to you all and Happy Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for all of YOU!
I was getting worried about you Jaye. Still keeping you in my prayers. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your friends.
SO glad to see you posting, Jaye - I agree, if he wants food, let him make it himself....... don't waste your time or energy on it.
Happy Thanksgiving all my 'Murican friends!!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I'm so grateful for all of you!!!
Prayers for all in need.
Yeah let him go to the chicken coop or his ex for feeding. oops I said I was going to be nice...well maybe next time.
Hugs to you dear friends, enjoy your turkey today and know we will ours on Sat. Last I heard the count was 39, but always room to squeeze in a few more.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Karen, that is a huge get together and a lot of food!
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire....oh wait!!! Wrong song....duh whatever am I thinking? Well maybe not thinking...rough getting old. :-)
Seriously, sending many hugs and wonderful wishes to my very special internet sisters and brother. Ernie, glad you are here with us...besides, I lost my brother 5 years ago and there was this void that you have sorta stepped into. Hope you don't mind. Besides, you are where you can that fantastic seafood!!!....Salmon is my middle name.
Jaye, I think maybe we have given up on a tree....not in the mood to find 3 kittens in it all the time. Of course, I guess we could suspend it from the ceiling....hummm, have to think about that.
Karen, that is a bunch of people...so happy when large families can still get together to celebrate the holidays and life. Our family has really decreased in numbers over the years and it does cause me to pause and remember.
Wishing everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving and I bet someone will be having pecan pie today. Who ever it happens to be....please eat a slice for me. My family doesn't like it so never have it around here.....a big slice while you are eating it....:-0
Kathy, she is so precious, but do you know how big they get?
Yes jkj that puppy will grow to big for you I will drive over and take it off your hands. Better for you to get a Chi Wawa .
Kel deserves a room mate named Bubba not a harlot or an ex. Down with Kel I do tell there is a smell he can go to well you know lol
Marion I am putting some salmon in the smoke house and gonna do my thing in a few minutes.
HERR FATHER WAS TALLER THAN ME WHEN HE STOOD ON HIS HIND LEGS. NEVER SEEN A PYRENEES SO BIG.sorry bout the caps
You better stock up on lots of chew toys.
