Sounds as though you've all had quite a month..wonderful memories, most they will never forget

LindaKay what size is your liner

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

Wonderful pictures Thunder. The girls are really getting big. Sure has been a great leave for Levi!!! What is next for them? Do you know?

Betty, my brushes are not numbered, just a cheap set of brushes from walmart. I will have to invest in a good brush or two, maybe that will make a difference?

Makes 100% difference

At least get a good liner I.e. Michaels when you have a coupon

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

Joann has decent brushes.

"T" so glad you had this time with Levi & family.

Thunder, photo's are great, such a happy family!

Yes, forgot about Joann's
Remember, you don't want the long script liner, too hard to maneuver

Good info on brushes, I will keep that in mind next time I get to a store.

Barb, only thing I can say is that he will be going off somewhere for a 3 week class sometime in the beginning of the new year. his job classification will change after the class.
He will remain in same group, but he will be responsible for a much smaller and more specialized unit. He had about 40, now it will be 8-10.
I can proudly say commanders told him they hate to lose him for this unit, but he has talents better off used for other...
can't say anything else. security reasons.
Thanks for asking.

You have to be so very, very proud!

I do know how you feel Thunder. I felt like that when my son was stationed at Norad and was tracking missles. He made rank all the way from enlisted to major and served for 28 years. I'm so proud of him.

Still no Sean this week. I'm getting a bit disappointed. I suppose at 14 he thinks he is getting too old to do this with Gram but he did say he wanted to... I may give his kit to the lady upstairs who has been such a great new friend.
I spent some time today looking back through the projects we have done. What great fun we have had. I am perplexed about one thing. The first project Sean and I did was a big board with holes for lights and a scene painted on it. I couldn't find that project or was it something you just sent to me?

maybe the lady upstairs would like to come down and do it with you Barb, always more fun when you've someone to paint with.

that piece I think was when you and Norm visited..showed him how I drilled for the lights etc. think he was going to do a few.

I'm painting today, hoping by tomorrow night I'll have finished the painting portion of the sign I'm doing for Paul

had a friend's hubby come over to drill some holes in glass blocks, I wanted to try a little project to use up left over block...
I like doing the intricate details on the house and not that fond of basecoating but I'm doing bits at a time and quilting while waiting for paint to dry

with glass/tile medium I made a circle..waiting for it to dry and will coat with white..

I set the lights in it so I can test how many coats of white I will need..want it to have transparent look.

think for the others I will wait till I go to home depot and buy frosted spray, still undecided

nothing like projects coming out of the ying yang

That must have been it Betty. He still has it out every Christmas and is still as proud of it as he was then. Thanks for the reminder....
I am giving Sean until this weekend. Then I will ask her if she would like to do it with me....

Victoria Harbour, ON

She would enjoy it I'm sure..

Here is hoping he comes tomorrow

What you could do is have them beasecoated blue ready for smooshing
