my grandson is home and still sick. back to his pediatricain tomorrow

Kathy hope the tyke gets better soon . It is so troublesome when they are so sick . I always feel so helpless and still do when my daughter in her forties gets sick. Not so much with the boys but daddy's little girl is still his little girl.

he has ben sick for 3 weeks. never heard of a virus lasting so long

Sure hope you get some answers soon, so it can be properly treated. Moving from one location to another, it may be a severe allergies to something?

I'm looking into other ways to maybe lower my mortgage and not reverse mortgage. It is such a risky thing and who knows what God has in store for me, sure don't want too have some lender foreclose on me and take all my equity. Feeling sorry for myself right now, so "this too shall pass". I hope so any way. Still trying to get rid of junk around here, it is going to take some time.

we are adopting a pit mix dog. Her name is Beau but the foster parents got their french wrong. Beau is male term for beautiful, as one would say to a man " your so handsome " so we will name her Bella Italian for beautiful.

One of those lazy days again, I have more of them than anyone else. Up on my small step ladder and noticed the blades of ceiling fan in bedroom has lots of dust bunnies. Will leave my ladder in bedroom so that will remind me to get cleaning those blades.

today is apple cider day
Yes he stores apples in his large cooler in the barn. So we can press apple cider until Nov. We usually stop around friday before thanksgiving. sometimes earlier.

kaden went back to school today. he can't shake the cough. been giving him raw honey 3 times a day. but i agree with karen, that;s what my grandfather gave me.

Karen did you ever fake cough just to get some magic potion and go for a swirling ride on the magic sailing ship lol.

Apple pulp is a great addition to the compost heap. Its drawback is it can be a feed source for rats and mice. The chickens love to eat it.

Oh Ernie, you're too funny!!!! Somehow I am visualizing Karen, after that magic potion, not on a magical ship but trying to do straight stitches on her sewing machine, laughing all the errors away!!!

The best compost I have heard are cotton seeds.. anyone tried that?

the cyst on my left breast has gotten bigger since the surgon drained it a month ago, and now there is another one. he said he ain't draining them anymore, he is removing them tuesday, so he can biopsy, and biopsy the tissue behind it. last time he saw me, the cyst was bigger than the ultra sound showed. he says it goes back to my chest plate

No Ernie, actually it was my mom's remedy, I didn't like it(in fact don't drink because I never learned to like alcohol) My sister used to take my cough medicine for me because she loved the taste.
She also used to make another concoction with onions she cooked into a syrup. Hated that too.

Prayers for Kathy, that is scary stuff! Starting to take a drink that has all the good vitamins, etc in it. Suppose to give me energy too, if it can do that it is a miracle drink. It is called Eco-Drink and you add a packet of dry vitamins to a bottle of water. Tastes very good too, no sugar and no calories. Supposed to drink one a day, so will see what happens.

Bank can't help me to lower my payments, said would only lower abut $50 a month and that isn't enough. Said interest rates have stayed the same the last 2 years so what I have now is good. Well, at least I got some answers, and he said reverse mortgage is very risky. Definitely RM is the last resort so I'm passing on that at least for now.

It is cooler, but not cool enough for me. Mornings are cool, just wish the day would stay like that. I'd really do a happy dance if and when we get rain. My sweet peas are starting to grow, but rain water would really make them happy.

well found out my apple job ends on friday :( I wish he would have said something last week and not two days before our last day.
I was really needing that last two pay checks. I won't starve but i may have to take from my savings to pay some bills :(
with North Carolina coming up the extra would have been nice.

I am off to San Antonio to see my arthritis Dr. I will be back early tonight.

I am feeling much better this morning. That new cough syrup really helps! I can't say much for the steroids, as they make my heart beat so fast, and it really make my bladder work over time!
