Don't wake Pudgy up.. sshhh... cats are like kids, adorable when they're sleeping!

Are the mosquitoes bad at the pond Cookie? Make sure you wear long sleeves. There's a new virus going around transmitted by mosquitoes. Malaria like, but not fatal.

Well, don't faint sistahs. Barb.. LK.. Karen.. Thunder..my sewing machine co operate very well for me to finish this over due boy's quilt.
It's for Johann. I almost add an A to that!! Lol!! His mother's Indonesian and hubby American from Michigan. Lily doesn't have any family in the states, so I adopted her :D
A wonky scrappy quilt. Intended to be a stroller quilt but I think it's big enough for a six month.
If I didn't have a big fight with Kel, I would have never finish it today!! Great therapy!

It is fantastic Jaye.

Funny how an argument can make for a great "sew in" ;) ^_^

FU, United States(Zone 9b)

My cat Pudgy is sweet and adorable, whether sleeping or awake. He is the greatest.

Jaye, your quilt is awesome and beautiful.

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

Love it Jaye.Wonderful colors.

Who is 'Cookie'?

Samigal, ... Take time to read things, then make decisions. Take your time, do not let others 'push' you!

Sure hope I am not the "Cookie" you were referring to. If so, you do not know me well at all.

Arguments are stupid.
If you are going to have arguments with some one frequently, you should ignore them for good or leave them for good.

FU, United States(Zone 9b)

Joycet, Thank You for letting me know that :]
Much appreciated :]

Take care.

Love the photos, as usual! What a great pix of the squirrel!

Saw a white squirrel at my son's house today. What a surprise.

Everyone loves Cookie(s). :-)

Baby Becca, 4 1/2 mos. and a whopping 11 lbs.

Love those pictures Christina.
Thanks for the new room Jaye. Love that quilt.
Marion I have never seen a white squirrel. That must have been awesome.

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

Becca may be a big girl but B also stands for Beautiful. She is adorable......

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Thank you for being my sistahs! Though the quilt isn't spectacular, it matters that you all think it's lovely!! Yah, I could use the boost!

Thunder, absolutely right! Best outlet after an argument. Sew, sew, sew and it forced your mind and eyes to focus on the stitching.

Christina, arguments are the norm here. I always tell Kel, "I love you till the next fight".. Can't keep it all in, if not, I'll be increasing my depression dosage.
Haven't seen not one squirrel around here. Back in Louisiana, I'd have corn feeders for them.. no white ones though.

Becca's beautiful Karen. You are so blessed to have such a large brood!

Waving to Marion. yes, everyone loves Cookies.

Oh, another nickname for Joyce, is Sunshine. Her Bill calls her that affectionately And she's just like sunshine too, always warm with her love!

I'm on a roll.. a jelly roll that is. Starting on another quilt. This time using batiks. May do a Chinese lantern pattern since it's for an American Asian little girl.

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

Sounds pretty Jaye. Loved the one above.
Beautiful photos Christina.

hey ladies
C is for Cookie and Cookie is for me. .... C is for Cookie and Cookie, Cookie, Cookie starts with C.
Tom stayed a two nights. He cooked some wonderful pork the other night on the grill. marinated it in citrus , rosemary and garlic. it was yummy. He is a wonderful cook.
I applied for medicaid today online. Tom helped me. I also got my info for child support filled out the paper work. I spent 4 hrs on the computer and phone calls. Then i paid bills LOL .
Love the quilt Jaye
Oh so cute little babies and kittys.
love the squirrel. My BFF is afriad of squirrels. i send her squirrel things .

FU, United States(Zone 9b)

Funny, my nickname was Sunny for many years. That was given to me by an ex-boyfriend (ex-marine), he broke-up with me because he said I did not hang out with him & his 'pot-smoking' friends often enough, ( I hung out with his friends along with him twice a week, every week).
Geez, sorry I'm not a robot, LOL!!
I hung-out with him 4 times a week in the beginning of the relationship. Never could seem to give enough to NorthEastern males, or be enough ever to them. But he was the only one who was 'non-abusive' though, so that was nice. What a freaking waste of time they put onto you.

If you are not near a Squirrel's nest, you shouldn't fear them.
Never saw a white Squirrel, but saw a few white deer in the NorthEast of the U.S.
It is so odd to see.

Left m large camera lens at my step mother's house, don't want to go back to get it right now, so no knew photos lately.

Here are some old photo from way back when....
Photo1 ....White mushrooms in the grass in Florida.

Photo2 ... My protective shepherd/labrador who passed away at 14 years old.

Photo 3 ... Black water falls, in West Virginia in autumn.

Love those pictures, Christina. What an awesome one of mushrooms! Can't seem to get out in the back yard to play, well maybe a little later. Could sit by that waterfall all day.

The temps. the weatherman gives us usually are wrong, they seem to go higher. Nice cool breeze coming in my window now so I'm enjoying. Our evenings are cool so I'm not complaining.

FU, United States(Zone 9b)

My old dog, when we were out in a park, years ago.

Me and my Shepherd-dog, ... When an abusive ex was abusing the heck out of both of us, every week, to the point of "severe exhaustion". ---
We finally got away from him, but too late to ever enjoy anything.

Well Jaye, ... maybe time to tell Kel you will not "spoil" him and let him use you like you are an unfeeling object.
Hope things get better for you real soon!

Karen, .. What a beautiful baby!!

Pegi, you will get out in the back yard soon again one day. When you are ready, you will enjoy it again soon. Hugs to you.

Photo 1, .... My greatest cat, that an 'ex-boyfriend' threw-around & tortured. (My cat died at 9 years old because of him).
No matter what I did or said to my 'ex-boyfriend', it made no difference.
(Never 'put up' with abusive and controlling human males, towards you or your pets. ----
Get out and away from that person as soon as possible! .... So you and your pets can live a peaceful & relaxed, healthy life.

good morning.
what a wonderful dog you had there Christina.
I think most of us here can relate to those kind of men. :(
off to the gym but my tummy isn't wanting too. to early for food . but i ate some stick and twig toast plain.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

Good morning all. Iced coffee? We'll I'm really getting what I prayed for. Five days of rain. Didn't quite want that much, now I'll be floating away.Someone better send me the ark!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

I have lost where the ark is at this time. Send that "wash water" back down to me please. Wait! Don't send it until the first of the week....they will be working on the kitchen tomorrow and I certainly don't need rain to mess things up. 2 1/2 months without an oven is getting old....fast. Not to mention the cake orders Kim has had to turn down.

Sending a hug to everyone.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

Hugs right back at ya. Got me grocery shopping, now going to lazy boy

Morning everyone, back home from San Antonio.Birthday party was a great success!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Afternoon everyone!
Welcome back LK. Did you do a quilt shopping detour?

Rains are intermittent here, and the temps tolerable. Don't have the ark here, but Sis Kathy, maybe you can build a pirogue!

Hope all goes well for you Marion. Poor Kim, it's like you not having a sewing machine, but that also means no extra money for her. May the kitchen gods help the installers.

Karen, your daughter's gifted!! She certainly deserves those ribbons. I love her creations.

That swan can be used for wedding invitations, Christina, it's lovely! The only natural waterfall I'd visited was in Malaysia, and my ears hurt from the loud roar. One I'd seen in the states was artificial, at a shopping center in Houston, I believe.
Nope, can't leave Kel as he's proven himself to be dependable, non physical and willing to put up with my idiosyncracies. I believe there's no such thing as a perfect man. Unless you're Jesus. But once he lays his hands on me, off I go. You can bet on that, as I went through that before with my ex.

Sue's right, not all of us are as lucky as Marion or Karen with top notch husbands. For many of us here, we can show you the scars.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

No shopping this trip Jaye, everyone was so busy trying to get the house ready for all those kids. Then there was the last minute shopping for those that called 15 minutes before the party, and said, I changed my mind, I am coming! So she had 16 kids, and all the parents in their tiny 2 bedroom trailer! It had been raining all morning, so outside play was out. I am glad it was a short party, because at 2:30 we had plans to go to the water park and enjoy the rest of the day! Which we did! But I am going back on the 29th, for Dr, and the 30th I meet up with Betty and 2 of her friends, so I will get shopping in then!

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Getting ready. I think! :) Going to meet up with Betty and friends in San Antonio on the 30th. Looking forward to seeing her again!

Sure wish you all could come down too!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Good morning sistahs.

Thunder, I bet you're counting the minutes till the 28. Don't wear off the rug girl.. put that energy on a quilt!

Hey Sis Kathy. No iced coffee? I'll take a cold glass of milk! Warm and muggy here, sinuses are acting up.

Do hug Betty for me will ya, LK? This will be the second time right? I know you both will have so much fun. Plus the shopping. Wonder what garden stuff will catch Betty's eye from Texas?

As I said, muggy, hot, wet, not good for the sinuses and apart from a trip to Dollar General, I'll stay home today with my sewing machine.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

Yes, I have iced coffee. Warm and muggy here too. You can cut the air with a knife. Went shopping yesterday, and am on my way again.
Linda, I wish I could come to.
